The Quinjet starts to land after entering the barrier of Wakanda.

Kol was in shock of the place they had landed in. What country needs an entire invisible barrier? He now understood the very big difference in his own reality, his was more bland.

"Should we bow?" Banner asked.

"Yeah, he's a king." Rhodey replied in a 'duh' tone.

Wanda slipped her hand into Kol's for a bit of support since this was all new to him.

The vampire squeezed the girls hand in gratitude.

"Seems like I'm always thanking you for something." Steve said as he shook hands with T'Challa.

Bruce awkwardly bowed before him.

"What are you doing?" Rhodey mocked shock, Kol shook his head in amusement watching the scene.

"Uh, we don't do that here." T'Challa said as he shook Banners hand.

The group begins to walk into the administrative building.

"Uh, sir, I think you can expect quite a big assault." Bruce told the king.

"How we looking?" Natasha asked.

"You will have my Kingsguard, the Border Tribe, the Dora Milaje, and..." T'Challa smiled as Bucky appeared.

"A semi-stable, 100-year-old man." Bucky smiled as he hugged Steve.

"How you been, Buck?" Steve asked his friend.

"Uh, not bad, for the end of the world." Barnes replied with a chuckle.

Wanda rolled her eyes and made her way inside with Kol trailing behind looking like a lost child.

"Whoa. The structure is polymorphic." Shuri said in awe.

"Right, we had to attach each neuron non-sequentially." Banner told her.

"Why didn't you just reprogram the synapses to work collectively?" Shuri asked him as Vision looked at Banner too.

"Because, we didn't think of it." Bruce uncertainty said.

"Who the bloody hell would think of that." Kol muttered as he had not understood one word just spoken.

"I'm sure you did your best." Shuri reassured him with a smile.

"Can you do it?" Wanda asked the girl.

"Yes, but there are more than two trillion neurons here. One misalignment could cause a cascade of circuit failures." Shuri then looked at her brother, "It will take time, brother."

"How long?" Steve asked her.

"As long as you can give me." Shuri replied.

Okoye kimoyo beads chime an alarm; she flicks one bead into her palm, where it projects the globe with a pulsing location marker, "Something's entered the atmosphere."

The defense shield over the Golden City destroys one of the alien vessels when it slams into the field at full attack acceleration.

The shock waves and debris from the ship landings destroy acres of forest and boil up against the dome. The lab has an excellent view of the landing sites. Captain America and Black Panther look at each other in concern over the scope of what they'll be facing.

Kol's eyes went wide at the sight of the alien ships. He was definitely not expecting this.

Vision tried to slide off the table, "Its too late. We need to destroy the stone now."

"Vision, get your ass back on the table." Natasha ordered.

"We will hold them off." T'Challa, Okoye, and the guards head for the door.

Steve turns towards Wanda, "Wanda, as soon as the stone's out of his head... you blow it to hell."

"I will" she replied.

"Evacuate the city. Engage all defense procedures." T'Challa turns and points to Steve "and get this man a shield."

Wanda paced as Shuri worked on Vision, Kol sighed upset he couldn't do anything to help.

"Wanda maybe I should go out there and-" Kol started but Wanda quickly cut him off.

"No, you'll get killed." Wanda shook her head.

"Well, i'm not gonna sit on my bloody ass knowing i could be doing something. I'm going out there." Kol told her.

"Kol, this isn't a vampire, witch feud where one can outsmart the other, this is war. And here your not that strong, you'll get snapped in half and i'll be damned if i stand by and watch that happen." Wanda snapped at him.

"I want to help." Kol said as he rose to his feet.

"You're not going out there." Wanda stated.

"Your friends are gonna need all the help they can get and maybe one vampire will help, just trust me to do this." Kol told her.

"And risk losing you? No I can't Kol." Wanda said.

"Well then it's a bloody good thing you can't control me outside of bed." Kol smiled as he camp sped out of the room.

Wanda ran her hands through her hair in frustration.

"I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that." Shuri said as she continued to work on Vision.

Wanda started to blush deep red as she recalled Kol's last words, she was going to kill him.

The vampire sped onto the front field where Natasha, Steve, Bucky, and T'Challa were stood.

"Got room for one more?" Kol asked as he walked up to them.

"The more help we can get the better, as long as you know what your walking into." Steve replied to him.

"Kinda had a feeling when I walked through that bloody portal." Kol told the soldier.

The carrier pilots swerve into U-turns, causing their craft to tilt and allowing the practiced soldiers to slide over one side into a run, never coming to a complete halt. A Dora Milaje shouts a command nearby as the last Wakandans join ranks.

"Thank you for standing with us." T'Challa thanked M'Baku.

"Of course, brother." the warrior replied.

The Black Panther, Captain America, and Black Widow walk to the edge of the barrier, where Proxima Midnight and Cull Obsidian stand. Proxima tests the strength of the barrier by drawing her sword across it consideringly.

"Where's your other friend?" Natasha asked.

"You will pay for his life with yours. Thanos will have that stone." Proxima Midnight told the three.

"That's not gonna happen." Steve said.

"You are in Wakanda now. Thanos will have nothing but dust and blood." T'Challa told her.

"We... have blood to spare." She brandishes her sword with a snarl, and the ships behind her start raising their outer hulls to allow their 'passengers' to disembark.

The three heroes return to the massed forces.

"Did they surrender?" Bucky asked.

Kol looked towards the outskirts of the barrier, "Doesn't bloody well look like it."

"Looks like we pissed her off." Natasha said.

The Outriders bombard the force-field, squeezing limbs and bodies partly through only to be bisected.

"They are killing themselves." Okoye said.

As a few Outriders managed to squeeze through intact, the Border Tribe take a knee and raise their shields. The Kingsguard behind them level their sonic spears over their comrades shoulders, and on Black Panther's command, fire at the approaching monsters. Bucky uses his M-249 machine gun, and Bruce fires the Hulkbuster's hand repulsors.

"Cap, if these things circle the perimeter and get in behind us... there's nothing between them and Vision." Banner said.

"Them we better keep 'em in front of us." Steve grimly said.

"Oh great." Kol sighed.

"How do we do that?" Okoye asked T'Challa.

"We open the barrier." he spoke into his comm, "On my signal, open North-West Section Seventeen."

"Requesting confirmation, my King. You said open the barrier?" Dome control nervously asked.

"On my signal." T'Challa repeated.

"This will be the end of Wakanda." M'Baku said.

"Then it will be the noblest ending in history." Okoye replied.

"Not very nerve calming." Kol gritted through his teeth.

Bucky chuckled at the vampire as he readied gun.

"Wakanda Forever!"

He crosses his arms in the Wakandan salute and closes his Black Panther helmet, charging for the barrier. The heroes and leaders are at the fore of the charge. Halfway to the barrier, the Black Panther shouts into his comm,

"Now!"

The Outriders pour through, distracted from trying to find any other access. The Black Panther and Captain America pull ahead rapidly due to their enhancements, and literally leap into battle.

Kol had already started ripping arms off and decapitating heads.

"How much longer Shuri?" T'Challa asked his sister over the comm.

"We've barely begun brother." the girl replied.

"You might want to pick up the pace." he told her.

Kol was struggling to keep up with the amount of creatures coming at him, he had never thanked his rapid healing more than at the moment.

"There's too many of them!" Banner shouted in the comm.

Suddenly, a large beam of rainbow-hued light lands in the middle of the action, and an ax flies out of it, wreathed with lightning and tearing through the Outriders, freeing the heroes. It flies back to the light and into its master's hand just as the beam cuts out, revealing Thor, Groot and Rocket.

"Who the blasted hell is that." Kol panted as he saw the god of thunder start to break out into a run.

"Bring me Thanos!" his voice boomed as lightning struck the ground killing off a good chunk of the alien dogs.

"Ahaha, You guys are so screwed now!" Bruce yelled.

Kol stood by Steve as both would punch through the creature pouncing at them.

"New haircut?" Steve asked Thor.

"Notice you've copied my beard." Thor grinned.

Steve merely nodded as Groot skewers three outriders with his arm.

"By the way, this is a friend of mine. Tree." Thor gestured to Groot with Storm breaker.

"I Am Groot!"

"I am Steve Rogers." the soldier replied.

"And now there's a talking tree" Kol said to himself as he ripped an Outriders body in half.

In Shuri's lab, a deep rumbling can be heard even at their height. Wanda looks down on the battlefield, and sees movement through the blazing forest between the troopships and the dome. When the disturbance reaches the edge of the trees, it turns into vast moving mounds of earth that easily bypass the force field and emerge. Threshers, sets of massive, motorized spiked wheels, intended for nothing more than shredding everything in their paths.

"Fall back! Fall back now!" T'Challa shouted.

Wanda watched and looked back at Vision anxiously.

Black Widow with her escrima sticks and Okoye with her augmented spear have drifted together when they're suddenly in the path of a Thresher.

The two cringe when suddenly Wanda lands in front of both of them, eyes glowing red, lifting the whole Thresher well clear of the ground. Looking behind her, the friendly forces have scattered and replaced by a charging mob of Outriders , the perfect spot to throw a Thresher.

Kol ripped apart a creature as he saw his soulmate arrive on the battle field.

"Now why was she up there all this time?" Okoye asked.

"Guys, we got a Vision situation here." Sam said into the comm.

"Somebody get to Vision!" Steve shouted.

"I got him!" Bruce yelled.

"On my way." Wanda said.

She is clobbered by Proxima Midnight's pommel and rolls down into the large ditch from the Thresher before she can move.

"He'll die alone. As will you." Proxima said to her.

"She's not alone." Natasha said appearing with Okoye.

Proxima leaps for Natasha, who has joined her sticks into a full staff. She blocks Proxima's blow with an electrical crackle while Okoye runs around the slope to also attack from the front.

Nat splits her staff back into a pair of sticks to block Proxima Midnight's sword blows, and finally knocks it from her hand. The alien takes to her bare fists instead, knocks down and pins Natasha. Proxima triggers an arm-blade from her left-arm armor, and stabs at Nat, who barely manages to block the blade with her crossed sticks. As the edge starts to dig into Natashas neck anyway, scarlet energy grabs the alien and tosses her into the air right into the path of another passing Thresher. Dark blue blood spatters the women below. Wanda sits up, sighing with relief, her hands still shimmering.

"That was really gross." Nat said.
