Wanda tapped her foot impatiently as Hayley's phone went straight to ringer... again. "I'm going to lose my mind." the girl muttered clutching her phone with a strong grip.
"Any longer and that phone won't be in one piece." Kol chuckled as he walked into the room.
Wanda sent an angry glare at the Original making the vampire lift his hands up in surrender.
"This doesn't make sense, she's supposed to be human right now. Elijah went to see her." Wanda ranted as possible situations ran through her head.
"She's probably alright darling." Kol told her as he filled himself a glass of whiskey.
"Say that one more time and I'll break your entire collection of alcohol." Wanda gritted through her teeth as she took deep breaths.
Kol frowned, "Leave them out of this."
"You're such a child." Wanda sighed as she walked out of the room.
The girl walked downstairs where she saw Klaus on the phone, "Freya, I'm aware that 21st century technology remains a mystery to you, but when you see my name pop up on your phone, you answer it. Come home immediately. Mere hours after you lecture me about boundaries, and here you are at my house in the middle of the night." he said into the phone.
"Where the hell is Hayley?" Wanda said as she walked up to him.
"Wanda love, great to see you too." Klaus grinned.
Wanda raised a brow in challenge, she was not in the mood.
Just then Cami walked in, "I came through the front door. You appeared through the window like a creeper. Besides, this is a matter of life and death." she said as she walked up to the two.
"When is it not." Wanda sighed.
"Call it a hunch, but I think your friend Lucien is torturing and killing humans in the quarter. There have been two victims so far, but I've constructed a psychological profile of the killer, and I don't think it's going to end there." Cami revealed.
"Who the hell is Lucien?" Wanda said with a sharp tone.
"An old friend." Klaus replied then turned to Cami, "Lucien would never be so sloppy. Although I admit there is a familiar method to this particular madness." he told her.
"You want to prove to me you're turning over a new leaf? Make sure this latest victim is the last one." Cami told him, Wanda snorted as Klaus shot her an irritated look.
"Heh. Are you suggesting I prove my redeemability by killing my oldest friend? Such irony." Klaus said.
"Wouldn't surprise me, you have done far worse." Wanda bitterly smiled at the hybrid.
"Look. NOLA PD can't take down a thousand-year-old psycho with vampire powers, but you can. You're the smartest and the strongest and the scariest, so make him stop." Cami told him.
Klaus sighed before looking at Cami then Wanda, the next second he was gone.

Wanda watched as Hayley stormed into the compound, "Hayley. Come to apologize for all your transgressions?" Klaus grinned.
Hayley didn't look amused, "Do you have any idea what you have taken from me?" she yelled.
"The very thing you sought to take from me... The chance to raise our daughter. Your punishment fits your crime." Klaus argued back.
"Your family was ruining her life." Hayley spat back.
"My family saved her life while you were off playing hide-and-seek in the forest!" Klaus shouted recalling how Wanda, Elijah, Kol, and Rebekah saved the little girls life multiple times.
Hayley lunged and started fighting Klaus, Wand caught sight of Jackson going to make a move. The girl created and red energy barrier so the werewolf couldn't pass.
"Wanda! He'll kill her!" Jackson shouted.
"Klaus won't kill her but he will kill you if you interfere." Wanda told him.
Kol stood with Freya watching the scene unfold.
"There's a very short list of people who've tried to take hope away from me, and you're the only one left breathing." Klaus told the hybrid.
"Are you that delusional, Klaus? You cursed all of us, every wolf that I fought for, everyone that stood up for our daughter. You took all of them away from their families." Hayley yelled.
"Yes, yes. Your precious pack, that family you chose over us, and in doing so, you chose over Hope." Klaus told her.
"Is that what you were planning on telling her when she got older and asked for me, that I abandoned her? My parents left me! Yours turned their backs on you! Look at us now, Klaus!" Hayley grunted as Klaus vamp-sped to the second floor balcony.
"Niklaus!" Elijah shouted as he walked in.
"She deserves something better than what we had, and all I have ever wanted for her is something better!" Hayley yelled as she followed after him.
"Fight back! Fight back!" The hybrid shouted as she hit Klaus' chest.
Suddenly Hope comes walking out from her nursery room, Hayley slowly turns and her eyes widened as she saw her daughter, "She's walking. When did she start walking?" Hayley asked.
The hybrids eyes filled up with tears, "I missed it. I missed everything."

Hayley came back downstairs with Klaus as Wanda took the barrier down. "Hayley. What happened? Is the curse broken?" he asked her.
Kol walked behind Wanda and wrapped his arms around her waist as the girl leaned back into him.
"I'll explain later. We're safe for now." Hayley told him.
"Good for you. I'll have your bedroom made up." Klaus grinned.
"The only way that I will stay under your roof is if I'm in a coffin." Hayley snapped at him.
"If you think I will allow hope out of my protection for a second-" Klaus started but Hayley cut him off, "What you'll allow doesn't matter, Klaus. Welcome to a 21st century custody battle. Moms win them now." she told him.
Elijah decided to intervene, "If I may. The apartments across the street have recently been renovated. I might pay a visit to the management. The fact that hope will never be out of earshot should assuage your incessant paranoia." he told the two parents.
"So we are to listen as my daughter is raised by savages?" Klaus scoffed.
"Because everyone here is so damn civilized?" Jackson cut in.
"Brother, you created the problem. This might well be the solution." Elijah told his younger brother.
"Put the place in Jackson's name." Hayley said then turned to look at Klaus in the eyes "Klaus won't be invited in."

Wanda plopped onto the couch as Freya took a seat next to her, Kol poured himself a glass of blood and just then Elijah walked in.
"Ah, if it isn't the peacemaker." Kol said as he sat taking a sip of his glass.
"I suppose I was misguided to believe Hayley's return would ease tensions in this house." Freya said looking down.
"Misguided, delusional, refreshingly optimistic. You're new." Elijah told her.
"What is it?" Wanda asked the older Mikaelson, she tell he had a worried expression.
"I received some unsettling information. From Lucien Castle. I don't trust the source, but I... trust you two." Elijah told Wanda and Freya.
Wanda got up from her seat and looked at Elijah with a confused expression. Kol raised his brows.
"If you fed on this prophetic witch, her blood is still in your system. If there's a weapon that can kill you, we need to know." Freya said sternly.
"No mentre le prophecie que la otra ve. No mentre le prophecie que la otra ve. No mentre le prophecie que la otra ve. No mentre le prophecie que la otra ve." the witch chanted.
Elijah clutched his head in pain, "Freya? Stop!"
Freya let him go, Wanda went into the Originals mind and gasped at what he had been told.
"It's true. You have a terrible shadow over you. Kol and Rebekah, too. If this prophecy is fulfilled, you will all fall. One by friend, one by foe, and one... By family." Freya said.
Kol's eyes widened.
Wanda couldn't breathe, those whispers she had been hearing, they were warning her... about how she would be the cause of the Mikaelson family downfall.
