Wanda lazily made her way downstairs as she rubbed her eyes. The girl stomped her way in Klaus' study where Kol, Klaus, Hayley, and Marcel were waiting for her.
"Waking up before 7 am should be illegal." Wanda sighed as she made her way to couch and plopped down into it. "It's 11 am, darling." Kol laughed.
"Feels like it's 6" the girl grumbled.
Klaus shook his head, "Back to the important talk, the body Rebekah currently inhabits has taken over her mind."
Wanda sat straighter hearing this.
The hybrid pulls out a pair of the magic-cancelling manacles. "Hey those are the ones me and a couple of witches enchanted." Kol pointed out.
Klaus ignored his younger brother, "I should really stop packing these away. There's always one family member or another in need of a good shackling." He hands the manacles to Marcel "Find Rebekah - or Eva, or whoever the bloody hell that was - use these to stop her from doing magic. And don't hurt her. The non-psychopathic bits are still my sister." the hybrid told his old friend.
"Alright, I won't be the only one looking for her. She killed witch-kids. The twenty-four hour hold that Elijah got the covens to agree to? Ended at midnight. Every witch in the city is gonna be gunning for her." Marcel stated.
Klaus sighed and turned towards Hayley, "Go to Elijah. Get her to charm his elderly witch into calling off the hunt." he ordered.
Hayley narrowed her eyes at him, "And leave Hope? Don't you think I should stay here and protect our daughter?" she sharply asked him.
Klaus rolled his eyes, "Jackson has been working night and day to secure this compound, surrounding it with his werewolf army. Not to mention the two people I trust are going to stay here and watch her. Yes I mean Kol and yourself." Klaus said as Wanda sent him a look.
"And I will also be around here. and I know the best way to protect our child is to get Rebekah out of that serial killer's body and back into the original model." Klaus finished.
Hayley felt a bit better knowing Wanda would stay and watch her daughter.
"And as Kol and Wanda watch Hope, what will you be doing while we're out doing all the dirty work?" The hybrid asked Klaus.
The Original hybrid grinned, "Why, tending to the even dirtier work, as usual."
"So just to make sure I understand... me and Wanda will be staying behind today?" Kol asked again.
"I don't have the energy or the crayons to explain this to you." Wanda sighed as she left. Kol thought for a moment before he realized what she had meant.
The vampire frowned and walked after her, "That was mean!"
You could hear Wanda's subtle laugh from downstairs. Klaus sighed with his eyes closed.
"And your sure they can protect Hope?" Marcel asked, feeling uneasy about leaving the baby.
"Quite frankly, Marcellus, I trust Wanda much more than you at the moment. So yes I'm very sure." Klaus smiled before walking out.

Wanda rocked Hope in her arms, the baby girl giggled and started to play with Wanda's hair. The girl smiled down at the tiny girl.
Kol watched them from the doorway where he leaned with his arms crossed over his chest. He watched as Hope would giggle every time Wanda crossed her eyes in a goofy manner.
The vampire couldn't stop the bright smile that plastered itself on his face. The women before him always enchanted him, always left him out of breathe when it came to her, and was always the happiest with her just by his side.
And in his thousands years of cursed immortality, he had never felt so alive then when Wanda walked into the cabin that night, because in that very moment... he felt complete.
She was all he needed to live.
And for her love? He would give up everything for it.
Just the thought of losing her terrified him. He knew he wouldn't be able to survive that.
Wanda turned to see Kol looking at her with a smile, the girl returned it as Hope fell asleep in her arms. The Maximoff girl placed the baby back into her crib before pulling the blanket over her.
She sighed contently and walked over to Kol and wrapped her arms around his waist while placing her chin on his chest, looking up at him.
"What's wrong?" she whispered.
"Absolutely nothing." Kol replied as he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. He left his hand on her cheek as Wanda leaned into his touch.
"You have completely bewitched me." the vampire told her. Wanda looked at him with a small smile and her cheeks tinted pink. Kol lost himself in her deep emerald eyes.
Wanda opened her mouth to speak but Kol cut her off by crashing his lips with hers. He kissed her like the world was about to disappear, like he couldn't take another breath without her.
Wanda's knees felt weak as Kol glided his hand onto the nape of her neck making her shiver.
Kol pulled back and panted lightly as he pressed their foreheads together.
"My cold heart will always be yours... it's filled with you. Your laugh, your bright eyes, your smile, your captivating magic, your touch. I can hardly even call it mine anymore." Kol softly said.
Wanda opened her eyes as she felt her heart tighten in her chest. For this man, she would do absolutely anything. Her own powers drew herself towards him more and more everyday.
And if she ever lost him, she would go however far it meant to get him back.
Suddenly Wanda's stomach grumbled, Kol's eyes snapped open. The girl smiled sheepishly as Kol leaned back chuckling, "Are you hungry my love?" he asked her.
Wanda slowly nodded. The vampire took her hand and lead her into the kitchen where he placed her on the kitchen counter.
"What are you doing?" she immediately asked him, "I've been learning recipes so I can cook for you." Kol said as he went into the fridge. "I'm sorry what?" Wanda asked again wanting to make sure she heard correctly.
"I'm going to make you breakfast, darling." Kol laughed.
"I thought Kol Mikaelson and I quote 'Doesn't cook'" Wanda repeated his words he once said to her. Kol looked back at her with a goofy smile, "Looks like you've got me doing crazy things."
Wanda shook her head but stayed put nonetheless.
She watched as he shuffled his way around the kitchen.
The vampire brought her a cup of coffee.
"A tiny bit of creamer?" She asked him. "With a teaspoon of sugar." Kol confirmed and added.
She smiled as she took a sip.
Kol placed a toasted bread that had a cooked egg in the center of it, he added a few slices of kiwis with strawberries around the toast.
He smiled before sliding the plate next to her. Wanda looked at it and raised her brows, "For a vampire who only drinks blood this is nice." She complimented.
Kol smirked proudly, he would have had a glass of blood right about now but drinking blood in front of Wanda while she eats is something she does not like.
Not that she ever said anything but the vampire knew the girl felt appalled at it. So he stopped eating while she ate.
Wanda smiled happily as she grabbed the plate and began to eat. Kol chuckled before heading to the sink to wash the dishes.
By the time Kol was done with the dishes, Wanda had finished her plate. Kol smiled at her before grabbing the plate and mug to wash them.
After he was done Wanda jumped down from the counter and wrapped her arms around his neck.
Kol placed his hands on her hips. "That was amazing." Wanda commented.
"Why thank you." The Original grinned. Wanda leaned up and pecked his cheek.
"Hope's gonna be out for a bit... which means we have a bit of time to ourselves." Kol stated, suggestively.
"Oh I know what we can do." Wanda smirked.
Kol grinned as Wanda leaned up to whisper in his ear, "Binge watch Brooklyn nine-nine" she said.
Kol's smile faded, "Not again." He whined.
Wanda smiled and grabbed his hand, "Too bad, suck it up." She said as the girl lead him into the living room.
"I was thinking of something else." Kol grumbled.
"And what would that be?" Wanda asked knowingly, with a tiny grin.
Kol narrowed his eyes at her, "Now that's just evil."
"Oh sweetheart, I can show you evil." Wanda smirked at him.
"Now shut up the episodes starting." The girl said turning her attention towards the TV.
Kol pouted and crossed his arms like a child.
Wanda found it hard not to laugh.

Later in the evening, Wanda was practicing her powers. She would grab objects and send them flying or she would practice how long she could hold things with her mind.
"Wanda dear." Kol said as he walked in on her.
"Mhm" was all the girl responded. "Freya is being presented with a weird necklace thing." The vampire told her.
Wanda stopped and looked at him. "Guess that means I have to go." She sighed.
"If you don't want to then of course I'll tell Elijah to back off." Kol told her.
"No it's fine let's go." Wanda replied.
The two made their way into the courtyard where Josephine is presenting Freya with a necklace with a turquoise pendant. She fastens the necklace around Freya's neck, and they all smile happily.
Klaus is on the nearby staircase, watching as Freya is presented with the necklace and scowling suspiciously at her. Everyone claps in Freya's honor as she gives Josephine a hug, and both Rebekah and Elijah are at her side, smiling proudly at her.
Wanda noticed Klaus' narrowed look at Freya and wondered.
Why was he so guarded with Freya?
