Wanda was sat at the stairs, bored out of her mind. She was able to keep the barrier up without having to stand, so of course she sat down. Wanda saw all the hungry vampires eye her like she was a buffet.

The Maximoff girl saw one of the vampires getting angsty. "I am two seconds away from sinking my teeth into her neck." the vampire grunted. Marcel suddenly appeared, "Easy, no ones eating anyone." he announced. The vampire growled and pushed Marcel out of his way, rushing towards Wanda with a hungry face.

Wanda sighed and shook her head, she created energy webs on her fingertips while focusing on the vampire who was speeding towards her. Suddenly, the vampire's body fell to the ground. Marcel looked at Wanda and back to the vampire, "Relax, I didn't kill him if that's what your thinking. I just put him to sleep." she said.

This made all the vampires cower back, suddenly Kaleb came out from the room he was in. Wanda heard a thud come from the second floor, she stood quickly when Kaleb appeared. "What happened?" Wanda questioned.

"It's Kol" the young witch answered, "He just passed out."

Wanda took off the barrier from the second floor and rushed up the stairs, Marcel and Josh right behind her.

The girl walked into the room where Kol laid unconscious. She looked back at Kaleb, "What happened?"

"You're asking me? I have no bloody clue, one second he was making promises to kill every vampire that tried to hurt you, and the next he's on floor." Kaleb said.

Wanda examined Kol's face and body for injuries but nothing.

"Let's get him on the couch." Marcel offered, Wanda nodded and picked him up with her powers and softly laid him on the couch. "Right... you can do that." Josh said, Wanda looked back and smiled at him before looking back at Kol.

An idea popped into the girl's mind. Wanda attached her fingertips to the side of Kol's head before sending her power into his mind. The girl saw a faint image of Klaus, Elijah, and Kol all standing in a weird place with Finn before them.

Wanda sent her magic towards Kol when the Original gasped awake. Wanda backed away from him as Kol took in where he was.

"Why thank you for getting me out of there... thought I would never hear the end of it." Kol said mumbling the last bit.

"What did Finn do?" Wanda asked him, "He sent me and my brothers into the astral plane, a place where our minds go but our bodies stay here. Finn wanted to find something out, not that I would do him any good in that area." The Mikaelson replied.

Gia suddenly lunged for Kaleb, Wanda caught sight of this and sent a ball of red energy towards her sending her flying into the wall.

"I will never stop thanking you after this." Kaleb said, "I would hope so." Wanda huffed.

"Finn plans to release the lot of you at sundown." Kol told Marcel, "The streets will be jam-packed with people right outside the gate." the vampire angrily said.

"And you'll be half-crazed with hunger. You'll feed your way through the crowd, and that will be the end of vampires secretly living off the fat of New Orleans." Kol said.

Marcel glared at him but loosed focused as his vision got blurrier, Kol snapped his fingers in his face. "Marcel!" He takes in how woozy and distracted Marcel is "Listen to me. You are outmaneuvered, out-manned, and, quite frankly, you're... you're out of your mind. We're not going to get out of this alive." Kol told him as he placed his hand on Wanda's knee.

"No. We are all getting out of this alive." Marcel said determined.

After a few minutes the sun goes down and Marcel checks the barrier, "It's down. Let's go." he announced.

Wanda and Kol watched the vampires file out of the compound and into the street.

"Well, if you don't mind I'm going to knock out of my bed." Wanda said before leaving, Kol smiled as he watched her.

The next day Wanda's phone blew up with texts from Davina. Wanda dialed the girls number and called her.  "What happened Davina?"

"It's Kol and Kaleb, we went to the store Finn was in because he has Marcel, Josh and the other vampires. Josh... wasn't himself and we had to escape. I'm weaker than Finn but you're not. Please you have to help Kaleb."

"Davina... where are they?"

A little time before, "Brother" Kol said as he walked into the shop with Kaleb beside him. "What are you doing here, Kol?" Finn asked annoyed.

 Kol smiles "I heard a rumor that you'd taken Marcel prisoner" He picks up a knife from a nearby table and examines it "...and it just so happens that I owe him."

"What are you doing here?" Finn asked Kaleb as Kol took the knife and stabbed it into Marcel's right hand. The vampire groaned in pain, "Ohh! I am so going to kill you two." he said.

Finn makes a face at Kol and annoyedly flicks his wrist, which snaps Marcel's neck. Then, he turns to Kol. Kaleb shrugged, "I want the Originals gone so it's a win-win."

Finn looked at the young witch suspiciously, "You have some nerve coming here. All good grace with me was lost the moment you signed up with our wretched siblings." the oldest Mikaelson told Kol.

"Eh, I didn't think you were gonna win this, and, to be honest, well, you and mum were acting a bit daft, weren't you, but I heard about how you turned dear, old dad into your own personal black magic battery pack, and I thought, "wow, that's cold, but it's smart." Finn looks as though he's interested "Now I can see which way the wind is blowing, and after the way the 3 of them treated us, I'll be happy to see them get what's coming." Kol told him with a smirk.

Finn rolls his eyes and makes hand into a fist, which causes Kol to roar in pain and fall to his knees. Once Finn releases the spell, Kol gasps for breath and looks up at him.

"Aah! What was that for?" Kol groaned as Kaleb was starting to look nervous, "For being a duplicitous beetle." Finn replied.

Kol sighed, "I have proved myself, Finn, more than you have." He stands to his feet "I'm the one that had Kaleb put Rebekah in another body, and whilst Klaus is out there looking for his dear, little sister, I was forging a dagger that will put him to sleep for centuries."

"I don't want him asleep. I want him dead. Plus what of your little girlfriend?" Finn said.

Kol plastered on a fake grin, "She's the perfect asset to use. She's strong, stronger than any witch we've seen, and I've got her wrapped around my little finger. With her on our side who would stop us then?" Kol said, he wanted to punch himself for the things he said about Wanda but right now he was playing a role.

The two brother's stared at each other.

"Klaus knows you trapped Rebekah, and yet he hasn't tracked you down to torture her location out of you?" Finn questioned. Kol shrugged "Well, I'm smart enough not to be found, and Kaleb wouldn't tell a fly since he too wants Klaus dead... or gone."

Finn laughed "And Elijah also knows Rebekah is missing, and yet he remains unaccounted for." Kol starts to get nervous "Despite my power, I've been unable to locate him, which suggests he's gone to great lengths to hide himself, and Elijah hides from no one... Unless he's keeping something hidden."

Kol chuckled nervously "Wow, Finn, you sound like Sherlock Holmes after one too many tequilas."

Kaleb was looking anywhere but Finn, "And you act a fool to dare think that I wouldn't know about your little friends in the back." Finn said.

He starts walking toward Kaleb, who instinctively backs away from him and turns to look for Davina and Aiden.

"Allow me to send a message to your little girlfriend." the witch told Kaleb. He flicks his wrist, casting a spell, which he directs to Josh.

Finn inflicted a pain spell on both Kaleb and Kol, "Now, are you through with this little ruse, brother?"

Kol and Kaleb ran for the back only to be met with Finn who snapped all the vampires neck with the flick of his wrist.

"Seems your little friend Davina has absconded with one of my prisoners." Finn said. "I didn't come here for a fight. The little witch, she asked me to be a distraction. She can be quite pushy when she wants to be, you know?" Kol said as he realized he wouldn't be able to beat Finn, he had to much magic.

Finn scoffed and looked at Kaleb, "O se kwe pe se." Kaleb gasped and shuddered in pain. "Over the next few days, I want you to contemplate what's to come... A meaningless, lonely death and the darkness to follow. You will not jump bodies. Your time starts now." Kaleb grabbed his chest as he breathed.

Finn looked at Kol, "No. No! Finn, you're angry, and when you're angry, you don't think straight." Kol said, terrified.

Finn cast an immobilization spell on Kol, "Someone whispered in my ear that you wanted a child." The eldest Mikaelson told his youngest brother.

Kol's eyes widdened with horror, "No, no, no! Finn don't do this! I beg of you!" Kol yelled.

"I curse your first born child... to endless pain and misery, even the mother of your child." Finn stated. Kol gasped for breath, completely horrified at what his brother had cursed upon him.

"Now go." Finn said letting him go. Kol suddenly felt empty, shocked, and scared. He vamped sped out of shop and slid down the wall, shaking.

Wanda suddenly appeared. She stopped at the sight of Kol, who looked terrible.

Wanda slowly approached him, "Kol?" she whispered. Kol closed his eyes to steady his breathing. Wanda sat next to him and wrapped her arms around him. Kol leaned into her.

All he had wanted was a family with Wanda.

Now that was cursed, too.
