27' Moon Over Bourbon Street
꧁꧂
Wanda looks around her seeing trees, grass, and a blue sky. She sighed happily, she looked to her side where Kol was in the middle of the meadow kneeled, gray, and floating away like ash. "Kol?" she said then her eyes widened in realization that it was him, "KOL!" she shouts now running towards him.
She ran and ran but it was like she couldn't reach him, and time was running out. She pushed through a barrier she felt and ran getting closer to him.
"You failed" he said, Wanda stopped in shock "You were too late... too weak" he said now putting his head down "And I believed in you." he said before disappearing into the air like nothing but ash.
Wanda couldn't think, this was her fault. She failed him. Just like she failed everyone.
Wanda's eyes shot open and she sat up breathing heavily, she looked around her and saw that it was only a dream.
Only a dream.

Hayley and Wanda approach Jackson and they watch Oliver and another wolf spar and wrestle. Wanda had stayed with Hayley for a bit in the Bayou, due to feeling stressed and the voices in her mind getting louder.
"Shouldn't you be out there playing Fight Club with the rest of the frat boys?" Hayley told Jackson, "Nah. That's just for pecking order. They already know who's the Alpha." Jackson smiled, "You feeling alright Wanda?" he asked the redhead.
Wanda gave him a reassuring nod "Fine, Thanks for letting me stay here for a bit." she thanked him, "It's no problem, plus Hayley probably would have fought me if I didn't." he laughed, Hayley huffed, "Damn right." she said and Wanda chuckled.
They went inside where the rest of the Crescent wolves were sat for dinner. "You gotta try Tucker's ribs." Jackson said to the two girls, "Then, what? Then we're gonna go play horseshoes?" Hayley said making Wanda laugh. "Hey! Don't mock country living, darlin'." Jackson said laughing.
"Sorry. This is just a lot more family fun than I'm used to." Hayley told him, "Tell me about it." Wanda muttered. "Well, maybe I can help you get used to it." The wolf said.
The werewolf Oliver joins them, "Then, all we got to do is just forget that she spent half her life with humans, and the other half with vampires." he said, Wanda narrowed her eyes at him.
"Ollie back off." Jackson warned, "It's okay. If the runt of the litter has got something to say, he should say it." Hayley said looking at Oliver.
"You know, word from the Quarter is your boy Elijah's holding some kind of power summit. Guess who wasn't invited?" he said. "Where did you hear this?" Hayley asked somewhat mad. "It doesn't matter. The point is is that we're stuck here living in the swamp, while your vampire boyfriend's deciding who gets what in the city. But, I guess that shows how much respect he's got for the werewolves, huh?" Oliver scoffed.
Wanda was about to say something in Elijah's defense but Hayley pulled her away, great now she was dragged into this.

Hayley barges into church interrupts the meeting, "Are you serious? You're dividing up the city, and the werewolves don't even get a say?" she angrily shouted, Wanda saw Elijah in the very front and to his side... Kol, great.
Diego stands and angrily points at Hayley "What the hell is she doing here?" he shouts, "Diego, sit. We are not dividing the city. We're establishing boundaries-" Elijah tries to speak but is interrupted, Kol would have shouted for everyone to shut up but he was too busy looking at Wanda who was staring at him too, but for an entirely different reason. She was happy he was alive, those dead dreams of his were getting to her.
"No, Elijah! There is not gonna be a peace if the werewolves are excluded. They want a seat at the table. And if they don't get one, I can guarantee that you will all regret it." Hayley yelled, Elijah pulled her aside and Kol made his way towards Wanda, just needing to feel her presence again.
"Can we talk?" he carefully asked, Wanda looked up at him and sighed. She walked outside and the vampire followed. "What is it?" she asked turning around to face him, "Are you okay?" he gently asked.
Wanda furrowed her brows at his question "What?"
"You look tired, and uh, I'm not sure this has anything to do with... our... bond, but I keep getting these headaches and I wanted to know if you were doing ok." Kol sincerely told her. Wanda looked shocked at hearing the headaches thing, could he feel her pain?
"I'm fine Kol. Just peachy" she tried to smile but failed. "Wanda, I'm so sorry for what happened." Kol suddenly said sounding wounded, "You were right I should have told you and that night I shouldn't have taken my frustration out on you." he said.
Kol took a step forward and gently held her hands in his, "I'm so sorry" he whispered again, Wanda weirdly felt her pounding headache and the voices fade away at his touch, she looked back down at their joined hands. Her magic for some reason calmed whenever he was around.
Wanda looked back up at him, maybe if she stays with him, he'll be safe. "It's ok, I also overreacted." she now gave him a real smile. Kol's eyes snapped open and a wide smile was now on his face, "Does this mean...?" he carefully asked not wanting to overstep his bounds.
"We can take it slowly again." she assured, Kol pulled her into a bone crushing hug. "Thank god, I was going out of my mind without you this month." he said as he pressed a kiss onto her hair. Wanda gently patted his back "Kol... I don't have super strength... you're crushing me." she said.
Kol pulled back and looked at her lips, silently asking. Wanda laughed "Just kiss me" she said, Kol leaned down pressing his lips with hers, he took it slowly but was about to lose his mind at the way her lips felt on his. Wanda wrapped her arms around his neck, even if she had wanted to stay away she knew she wouldn't be able to.
Kol held her cheek as he deepened the kiss, Wanda pulled away needing to breathe but lightly rested her forehead against his.
"Oh how I've missed doing that." Kol smiled, Hayley walks out and sees the two, "Break it up lovebirds, Kol I need my best friend." she said as she took Wanda away, Kol pouted and Wanda laughed at his cuteness.
Wanda walked next to Hayley, "So what now?" she asked the pregnant wolf,
"Now we wait for Elijah to make the right choice."

"Really? Elijah's way of mending bonds is through a party." Wanda said as she and Hayley stood outside the Abbatoir Compound. "Well, let's just go in, I'm pretty sure your vampire awaits your arrival." Hayley said, Wanda sent her a glare and walked in.
Kol looks over the crowd looking for a certain person, "Hey handsome, care to dance." a girl flirts while grabbing his arm, Kol twists the persons arm "Not with you" he said before he continued looking, he arrived at the entrance.
Kol's jaw dropped, there stood Wanda with a black slit dress with thin straps and her hair was perfectly curled. Kol regained his posture and mind set and walked right towards her, "Well don't you look ravishing." he grinned.
Wanda turned and was faced with a well dressed Kol, she looked him up and down, "You clean up well" she laughed, "Well, the only way my brother got me to join the party was telling me you were coming." he smiled. "I'm honored to have that affect on you." Wanda joked.
Kol set out his hand, "May I have this dance?" he asked, "Why of course you may." she replied putting her hand in his. He led her to the dance floor and put his hands on her waist as she wrapped her arms around his neck.
"I'm going to be completely honest, I don't really know how to dance." Wanda revealed slightly embarrassed, "That's fine, darling, as long as your in my arms." he smirked, "Were you always this much of a flirt with every girl." Wanda laughed, but suddenly felt uneasy as she thought he must have loved thousands of girls before her.
"Mhm, no" he stated, Wanda looked at him with a confused face, "I've never really loved anyone before, they were usually just...uh... flings" he said awkwardly "But I never felt any attachment to any of them, guess I always knew you were somewhere out there." he smiled.
Wanda felt like her heart was about to pound out of her chest, damn the affect he had on her. "Good to know." she said, "How about you? Any males that you fancied?" Kol asked with a hint of bitterness as he imagined ripping the person to pieces.
Wanda laughed as she caught the tone he used, "If you need to know, no there was never anyone before you, not even flings." she said smiling at his protectiveness, "Didn't you live with like six males in your other universe." he mumbled.
"First it was three Tony, Clint, Bruce, and Thor didn't live with us, second I didn't love any of them like that." she chuckled, Kol was pouting now. Wanda rolled her eyes and leaned up giving him a kiss. She pulled back and Kol was now smiling "You're such a child." Wanda laughed.
Kol frowned "Am not" he whined. She shook her head and Kol leaned in kissing her again, suddenly a crashing noise was heard, they pulled apart and went over to where the noise came from and there was Elijah pushing Oliver against the table.
"This ends now. I won't ask again." Elijah sternly told them, "Oh we'll end it alright." Jackson suddenly said pushing Diego against the wall a stake aimed at his heart.
"What's stopping you? Kill him. Go ahead, Elijah. Do it. I mean, it's not like he doesn't deserve to die." Hayley suddenly said making Wanda confused.
"I mean, it was Oliver who handed Rebekah over to the witches so they could torture her. But, then again, wasn't it Diego who led a werewolf massacre last month? And the witches cursed the wolves, while the humans stood back and let it all happen. So, when you think about it, everyone here deserves to die." Hayley said.
"Are approaching a point?" Elijah angrily asks, "My point, Elijah, is this-- if we can't all learn to get along, if our families can't create some sort of community, then what's the point? Kill each other and get it all over with." Hayley said.
After hearing Hayley's words, Elijah let's Oliver go and Jackson does the same to Diego. After that everyone makes their way out.
Wanda was looking for Hayley when she accidently bumped into a women, "I am so sorry" she apologized, "Oh don't worry about it deary" the lady grinned, Wanda nodded and walked away ignoring how uneasy she felt.
The women watched Wanda walk away.
"Let the games begin"
