16' Bloodletting

Wanda, Elijah, and Klaus walked into the courtyard. Klaus walked behind a fighting Vampire and snapped her neck. "Good evening! I'd like a word." Klaus shouted.

"What do you think you're doing?" Marcel asked, Elijah looked at Wanda, she nodded summoning her power sending it into the ground making every vampire on the same floor as her unable to move, Wanda's eyes glowed a violent red.

"It appears that we've interrupted a collection of filthy amateurs! We've come here for the girl. Give her to us or... we kill everyone here. Starting with you." Elijah announced.

Wanda was pissed that her friend was taken, she sent her power into all the vampires knees making them kneel, "I could get into every single mind of your little vampire's controlling them to attack you, give us Hayley and we won't have problems." Wanda spat.

Marcel was slightly scared at the sight of the girl using her magic, but he decided to press his luck "You three got a lot of nerve, coming into my home and making demands." he said.

"Your home is it?" Klaus mockingly said. "The girl! I will not ask again." Elijah shouted. "I assume you're talking about Hayley? Yea high, dark hair, bitchy attitude? Who is she, anyway?" Marcel asked.

Wanda grit her teeth to keep from doing something she will probably regret. "She's an old friend. You know how sentimental I am about old friends." Klaus said.

"Well, I ain't got her. And before you start whining, I did pay her a little visit earlier tonight. I was feeling nostalgic, so I took a trip out to the plantation where I used to be a slave. And, imagine my surprise when I realized that the Original family of vampires had taken up residence. Your girl, Hayley, answered the door, we exchanged hellos, that was it. You don't believe me? Look around. Hell, I'll even help you find her." Marcel said gesturing around.

"But the question that I'd ask is, if Hayley isn't here, then where is she?"

Klaus, Wanda, and Elijah are sitting in the backyard of Marcel's 'home'. "Not the most attractive community, are they?" Elijah said looking around.

"You do realize they can hear you?" Klaus said

"You do realize I don't care?" Elijah responded.

Wanda laughed at the two, Elijah sent an amused smile at the girl. Marcel appeared accompanied by some vampires and a witch.

"You know Elijah, I like you better in that box" Marcel said to him the turned to Wanda "Little lady who is terrifying" Wanda bitterly smiled at him as he turned to Klaus "But Klaus, my sire, you I owe the world, and I always show respect to my elders. If your special lady friend is missing, you could benefit from the help of a witch. Since your own can't perform a certain spell."

Wanda scoffed "You want to see what I can do?" she threateningly asked him.

Marcel ignored her threat "And, since I control all the witches in this town, I'll grant you one little locator spell. Sabine's the best guide in the Quarter. Need to find someone? I guarantee, she's your girl." he said.

Marcel turned to leave, "Where are you going?" Klaus asked. "I hate to cut this short, but the sun's coming up soon. My nightwalkers need to get inside, and I have got a city to run. I leave you to track down your lost sheep." he replied to Klaus, he sent a wink to Wanda, then left.

"I'm telling Kol" Elijah said, Wanda scowled at him but Klaus ignored the two who started bickering, "Can you find her?" he asked Sabine.

"I can try" she said.

Sabine waves her map over a puddle of Klaus' blood traces from their current location, "She's in the back country. Way up, past Houma, deep in the bayou." Sabine says.

"I don't suppose you could be more specific?" Wanda asks, "What's the matter, Wanda? You're worried a bit of splashing about in the bog might ruin your expensive shoes?" Klaus teased.

Wanda rolled her eyes at Klaus sending her magic towards him knocking him off his feet onto his back. Klaus groaned as Wanda smiled proudly, Elijah shook his head amused at the scene.

"There are stories of exiled werewolves, encampments. If Hayley went out that far, chances are she went to find them." Sabine revealed.

Klaus groaned as he got up "Clearly, she hopes to make the acquaintance of more like herself. I suppose our company wasn't good enough for her." he said.

Wanda and Elijah looked worriedly at Sabine.

The three are walking around the werewolf encampments looking around for Hayley, "You seem quite determined to find the little wolf." Klaus smirked at Elijah.

"If I'm moving too fast for you, Niklaus, you're welcome to wait in the car. Do be certain to leave the windows down. I can look for her with Wanda." Elijah replied.

"Ah, so I've touched a nerve? You've begun to admire this girl. Perhaps that's why you've been barking orders since your return, hoping to impress Hayley by assuming the role of family patriarch." Klaus chuckled, Wanda rolled her eyes at the fight he was picking.

"If you're going to insist on treating her like a walking incubator, then that's your mistake!" Elijah said angered.

Klaus sniffed the air, "Have you found her scent?" Wanda asked. "No, but I found someone else's. This vehicle reeks of someone I thought I was rid of...Tyler Lockwood." Klaus said.

Wanda was confused, not recognizing the name, but Elijah did. "And why would your little hybrid-sidekick from Mystic Falls have any interest in Hayley?" he asked his brother.

"He wants revenge because I went after his girl." Klaus responded. "Of course you did." Wanda said. "Why do I suspect this is the least of your offenses?" Elijah said.

"Back when I had the means to sire hybrids, he was my first, Although, I didn't give him much choice in the matter." Klaus explained as he took a blanket out of the car sniffing it.

"He was loyal in the beginning, but he grew insubordinate, turned my other hybrids against me. I couldn't have that, so I massacred the lot of them. Tyler ran like a coward before I could finish him off." he continued.

"Anything else to add?" Wanda said not believing that was the end of it. "Well, there was this business with his mum." he said. "Of course there is." Wanda muttered.

"You killed his mother. Wonderful." Elijah said. "He needed to be taught a lesson!" Klaus said. "And what lesson will you be taught, Niklaus, if he retaliates by harming Hayley?" Elijah said, Wanda grew worried for her friend by the second.

"So you do care about her. Well, go on, then. Have at it, brother. Save her. Claim what spoils you can. I've sampled what she has to offer and let me tell you, she is exquisite-" Klaus started but Wanda sent her magic towards him shutting his mouth.

"Don't even finish that sentence." she stated furious, Elijah looked at the girl "Wanda, dear, please let him go, we'll have to deal with a grumpier Niklaus after this." he said to her.

Wanda trusted Elijah so she reluctantly let him go, "Enough of this. I'll kill Tyler Lockwood myself." Klaus said then vamped-sped away.

Wanda and Elijah continued their search for Hayley, Wanda spotted a brunette girl getting choked.

Wanda summoned her magic sending it flying towards the male, "Hands off" she said, Hayley fell to her knees gasping, Elijah vamped over to help her.

Hayley sighs in relief and jumps into his arms, "You will not believe the crap day I'm having" she sighed. Hayley let go of Elijah seeing Wanda she engulfed the redhead into a hug.

"Thank you for saving my life" Hayley said, "We look out for each other." Wanda said. "Let's take you two home." Elijah said, "Wait, there's something you need to know about the baby." Hayley said.

Confusion passed over Elijah and Wanda.

Wanda and Elijah are shocked by what Hayley revealed to them "Klaus must have known, that's the only explanation! He could care less about the baby, he just wants her to be born so he can use her to make more sired hybrids." Hayley said angered.

"Although...the way that Dwayne was acting...it was more like he was sired to me." Hayley thought.

"I should take you home." Elijah said, "Home to what?!" Hayley asked. "Look, regardless of my brother's intentions, mine remain the same. I said that I would protect you, even, if need be, from Klaus himself." Elijah tried to reassure her.

"I can take care of myself. I've done it for a long time." Hayley said walking away taking Wanda with her, Elijah followed both girls

The three of them appear at Dwayne's shack where Klaus is waiting, as he spots them he threw Dwayne's body in front of them "There you are! I see you've found our wandering stray. Perhaps you could shed some light on the situation. This appears to be a hybrid." Klaus says.

"His name was Dwayne." Hayley said. "Well, whoever it was, I didn't sire him. Any idea how that's possible?" Klaus asks confused. Hayley stomps towards him, "As if you didn't know!" she shouted.

Elijah holds her back "Ahhh, well, aren't you two fast friends? Oh, come on, then. What kind of horrible accusation have you conspired to levy against me?" Klaus smirks.

"Tyler Lockwood brought Hayley here to test a theory. That the blood of her child could be used to sire hybrids. He claims that you knew that. Futhermore, that you intended to use this knowledge to build an army." Elijah revealed, Wanda saw Klaus's face become clouded with hurt and anger.

"And, of course, you assume it's true. I mean, why else would I show interest in my own flesh and blood? A heartbroken little crybaby points his finger at me, and my own brother falls in line, eager to believe it! How quickly you believe the worst, especially when it comes from her." Klaus shouts.

"Oh, spare me your indignation. When have you ever demonstrated any kind of concern towards Hayley or her child, beyond your own selfish pursuits? And what was it you once said to me? 'Every king needs an heir!'" Elijah yells.

"My big brother, so, you doubt my intentions? Well, I can't say I'm surprised, standing next to the noble Elijah, how can I be anything but the lesser brother? A liar, a manipulator, a bastard." Klaus shouted, Wanda felt a bit for the hybrid.

"That's all I am to you, isn't it? And Rebekah. And, judging by the way Hayley hangs on your every word, it's clear she feels the same way! No doubt my child will as well." Klaus said defeated.

"Brother if-" Elijah started but Klaus cut him off "You've said all that needs to be said, Brother. I'll play the role I've been given." he says disappointed. Wanda wanted to try and talk to him, but knew he would pay no attention to her words.

Klaus vamp-speeds towards Elijah biting into his neck, Wanda gasps as Hayley screams in horror and runs over to him.

"You two enjoy each other's company. You'll have much to bond over, once the hallucinations and dementia set in. Consider that bite to be my parting gift to you both. Wanda, enjoy the scene play out, let's hope Kol doesn't get in my way as well." he then speeds away.

Wanda stood in horror at the thought of Kol getting hurt, she looked back at Hayley who was holding Elijah, Wanda looks at Hayley "Go. I'll take care of Elijah." Hayley gave her friend a reassuring nod. Wanda sent her a grateful smile.

She made her way back to the Mikealson Mansion.

"Please Kol be okay"
