Wanda was in a room with Klaus, Rebekah, and Kol as they tried to convince the witch to do magic. "Are you out of your mind? No way." Sophie stated.

"It's very simple. We need you to perform a teeny, tiny locator spell to help us find our brother." Rebekah said to her. "Witches who practice magic in this town get caught, and they get killed." The Deveraux witch argued.

Klaus spoke up "Yes, about that. It seems you left out a crucial detail when we made our deal, Marcel's secret weapon, the way he knows when a witch is using magic."

"Girl about yay high, cute as a button, anger issues." Rebekah said. A look of shock passed over the witches face, "Davina? Where have you seen her?" she questioned.

"I don't know. The little brat erased my memory right after she threw me out a window with her bloody mind." Rebekah scoffed. "Let me cut to the chase. Davina has Elijah. You witches, I assume, want to get Davina away from Marcel. We don't know where she is. Ergo, we need magic." Klaus stated.

Sophie looked over at Wanda, "Why don't you get her to do it?" she asked, "I'm not a witch like you, I can't locate someone that's not how my powers work." Wanda said.

"It doesn't matter Davina would sense my magic being used." Sophie argued. "Unless, of course, another witch... say, a traitor to the cause, Katie for example, was to perform much more powerful magic at the same time. That would create a smokescreen, concealing your very small spell from Davina." Rebekah revealed.

Kol stood bored in his place so made his way next to Wanda slinging an arm around her shoulders, "Katie doesn't deserve to die." Sophie said. Klaus slammed his hands on the table,

"Sophie Deveraux. You're in no position to be so principled. You can't win a war without a few strategic losses, no matter how regrettable they may be. How many times have the vampires been one step ahead, known something they shouldn't? Your sister, executed in the public square for practicing magic, who knew she'd be caught? Did she even attempt to flee?" Klaus started, a bit angry.

"She was caught hiding in a cargo hold of a freighter before it set sail down the Mississippi." Sophie revealed. "And who, pray tell, of Marcel's valued inner circle manages his business at the docks?" Klaus asked the witch.

"Katie's boyfriend, Thierry." Sophie said.

As Klaus went to talk with Marcel and Rebekah went to get Cami to go to an event, Kol and Wanda stayed behind. Kol took a seat on the couch watching Wanda as she made food for Hayley who was reading upstairs.

"I didn't know you could cook." Kol smirked, "I helped my mom around the house when I could, plus I cooked for myself in the Avengers headquarters." Wanda revealed.

"So, how are you liking New Orleans?" he asked her. "Fine I guess, didn't expect to encounter so many vampires." she laughed. "I can imagine you can handle them?" Kol teasingly asked. "Very easily too." she stated. Kol walked up and decided to help her with the soup she was making.

"You know how to cook?" Wanda asked him, lifting her brow. "Of course not, but I am at your service." Kol said bowing.

Wanda laughed at his action, "Ok then, pass me the paprikash." she said. Kol was utterly confused, "I'm sorry the what?" he asked again, looking through the condiments.

"The paprikash" Wanda said again, "Either we don't have that, or I'm just blind." Kol said. Wanda shook her head smiling at picked up the paprika in front of him.

"That says paprika! Where on bloody earth did you get paprikash?!" Kol questioned bewildered.

Wanda laughed at his comment making Kol smile at her. He watched as she made her way around the kitchen cooking.

Ever since Kol met Wanda he felt this pull towards her, now every time he looked at a women he felt repulsed. He no longer spent the night with others, he just couldn't. Every time he saw Wanda he was captured by her, he couldn't explain why but he had to guess it definitely had do with what the witch he questioned told him.

Flashback

Kol left the house, making his way to a known witch for some answers, he walked into a shop where a lady was already sitting on the floor. "I'm assuming your the one who called?" she asked.

"I was" he told her, she motioned for him to sit down. "What is it you would like to know?" the witch asked him. "I heard you specialize in... bonds." Kol hesitantly said.

"That would be correct boy." she replied. "I wanted to know if... a special bond with someone exists." he said.

"They do, though not everyone is lucky enough to counter their other half or even be gifted with one." she revealed.

"How do you know if you have that type of bond with someone?" Kol questioned. "This bond is rare, when people are born, sometimes they are matched with someone who is their other half. With this person you have a feeling of natural affinity. Not every person is given this gift, no, it is only given to those who need an anchor. Someone to keep the other person grounded." she explained.

"If you have that bond with someone you will feel the need to protect them, care for them, be loyal to them, and if your bond with that person is deep enough you feel a pull towards the other. The need to be with them, and when you first encounter them you will feel an attraction to them." she said.

Kol was shocked at what the witch was revealing, because everything she said, is exactly what he's felt towards Wanda.

"When these two people have a bond, they are called two kindred spirits."
