His Uncle is back(Edited)
Every day presents a new opportunity to become a better person.
Mariam Abdul:
How could one girl despise another so much? Why can't all the girls be friends without gossiping about each other?
Is it true that there are people in life who have two faces?
Khalid took us somewhere and wanted us to become friends for his sake. I did my best, but she pretended I was at fault in front of him while hurting me with her words when he was not present. We had a good time, but there was still some awkward silence and distance between us.

I checked the time it was 7.30 am I finished fixing my hijab and rushed downstairs I was already late Khalid was feeling much better and he already left he's now staying at his house and must be at work by now I sat on the dining table and I guessed dad and my dear brother were already at the office. I was assistant and am damned today.
I greeted mum and she replied and then we discussed what to make for lunch mum usually goes to dad and takes for him and my brother lunch pac.
"See you in the evening, mum," I said to her as I sat in the car while the driver drove us to Khalid's office.
I walked as quickly as I could to his office and took a deep breath. Take it easy, Mariam; he will not lash out.
I was about to knock on the door when I heard his deep voice.
"Come in," how did he know it was me, and was there CCTV everywhere?Who does that?
Now I was very nervous. I began playing with my fingers while clutching my bag tightly.
"You are late," he said as soon as I entered, and he was so preoccupied that he did not even look up. Insensitive
"Assalamualeikum,"When I greeted him, all he did was point to a seat with his fingers.
"Waleikumsalam," I said, thinking he would not respond.
I wonder if I should ask him how he feels. or it will come across as overly inquisitive; perhaps he gets upset when asked questions.
He then gave me some files from the new hotel he has opened in Tanzania and asked me to interview the girls because there is a position for a receptionist, and we talked more.
He is my fiance, but he is so moody and never smiles.
I wore an evil grin on my face because I had a plan. I did not realize I was smiling like an idiot until his voice made me stop.
"What is funny?" He questioned me, and I simply shook my head.
I took my phone from my bag, took his picture without his permission, and began editing it; he was so preoccupied with his papers that I was finished with mine. He even suggested that I join him when there is no work in my small office next to him.
"You took my photo, didn't you?" He questioned me with a raised eyebrow.
Mariam, if he sees how you have edited his photo, he will be furious.
"Do not come near me," I warned him, but instead he closed his laptop and approached me with a serious expression.
I tried to hide my phone behind my back, but this guy was much taller than me.
I could see a beautiful view of the city from this vantage point, but this was not the time I knew he would reciprocate.
"What if I come?" He asked with a playful smile. Ya Allah, what is going on in his head?
"I will complain," I stated. I knew it was lame, but since he was CEO, it would work in his favour.
Did he smile? Did the incredibly attractive CEO smile at me?That smile transports every girl to dreamland.
"I got you," he grabbed the phone from me. Ya Allah, he distracted me, and I tried to snatch my phone from his grip, but he had already seen the picture and was serious.
"What have you done?" He asked in a harsh tone, so I moved back.
I remained silent, waiting for him to say something. Instead, he checked the picture again, and I heard laughter, which made me smile, and we both began laughing.
"Now it is my turn," he said in a low, dangerous tone, and instead of taking my picture, he began tickling me in the stomach. I was very ticklish.
"Stop...Stop," I tried to stop him, and we both came to a halt and tried to gather our thoughts. I stared at him and wished he was always carefree.
We are still close. I was about to say something when the door was pushed open, and in came an elderly, frightening man. He stared at us, and all colour had drained from Khalid's face; there was no smile.
"Will not you welcome your uncle, dear?" His question was directed at Khalid, who stood still and clenched his fists.
"Who is this girl?" He asked Khalid again, but he immediately stood in front of me, as if to protect me from his uncle.
"Don't you dare come near her," Khalid warned him.
