Convincing stubborn Wife😍😲(Edited)
Mr Khalid:
I looked into her bewildered face; she had a really cute angry look.
She only needs to go for one week, so I was taking all of this precautions for her safety. I do not want to frighten her away because I have some things to handle. She was so stubborn, even after I spoke with her parents and brother.
She was just glaring at me, looking innocent, so all I can hope is that tomorrow she agrees to go. No Khalid, do not give in to that look of hers; this is serious—you have only got one week to spend with her.
"Dinner is ready," she said, fuming with rage. Even in this state, she prepared dinner; she is simply too good.
"Will you keep staring all day?" She inquired, and I simply chuckled. She folded her arms across her chest and waited for me to say something before we proceeded downstairs. None of us spoke, and we ate quietly.
"Just informing you that I am not going anywhere," she started the topic again. I clenched my fists, how could I make her understand?
"I will call your brother to come pick you up."I fueled an already irritated bird, and she stopped eating.
"If I go, I will not talk to you for a month," she threatened. This little wife of mine was becoming bold and comfortable around me. It felt good, and finally, the house with only walls and furniture felt like home, and her presence altered everything.
I knew we needed to spend time together, but I would find a way. My uncle was making a mess, and my ex was involved in some creepy business; she realized her mistake too late, and I was just going to help her and warn my uncle that there was too much going on, but if I tell Mariam, she will be broken seeing me with my ex.
She would be hurt, and it is difficult to explain this to my innocent wife, who has always been protected from harm and cruel people.
She was devastated by my initial act of hurting her. That is what I was told, and I can not allow it to occur again.
I was distracted from my thoughts by her question, "Did you hear what I just said?"
I pointed to her plate and said, "Your food is getting cold." She was just making herself feel stressed.
"Why do not you tell me what is upsetting you?" She asked, her face hurting, and her attitude changed to one of sulking, which was not good. I can not leave her like this.
She pouted and said, naively, "I want to be with you in every phase of life, easy or difficult, and now you want to face this alone." She put too much stock in these couple goals.
"How can I let her know who I am going to be helping?"I thought.
"It is about your uncle, right?" She asked with hope in her voice, and half of her guesses were correct.
I stood up and saw her eyes widen; what was she expecting? That I would scold her? Instead, I smirked and sat next to her. She looked surprised and raised her eyebrows, but I just shook my head; she was not eating, and I needed to make sure she ate dinner rather than sulking in the kitchen.
As I was about to reach for her mouth to take a spoon from her plate of rice and curry, she closed it.
I sternly told her to "stop being stubborn," and she eventually stopped staring at me as if I were someone else.
She smiled at me as she fed me, saying, "You are being romantic; that is not the way. We were discussing something important."
I teased her, "It changed the atmosphere," and she looked downcast. Ya Allah, I am going to fail miserably because of her.
Even though she refused, I helped her rinse while she washed the dishes that she took to the kitchen.
We went to our room together after I read somewhere that the husband should assist his wife because I can not let her do the work that I can do on my own.
We prayed Isha, or night prayer, at ten of the clock at night, which is, I suppose, the hour in most countries.
After praying with my wife behind me, I felt at ease and as though a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. We prayed together and made silent requests for anything we could think of.
I turned to face her, and she looked stunning, her hands above the altar, asking God for forgiveness. She also appeared at peace, with no regrets or other options.
She shyly averted her gaze once more when I planted a kiss on her forehead.
We folded the prayer mat, and I considered persuading her once more.
"Please understand why I am doing all of this," I began, but she simply shrugged her shoulders and removed my night clothes from the closet, as well as my office attire, which she placed on my table.
Still caring, but furious.
We were startled out of our reverie by a ringing sound, and since my phone was charging next to her, she just shook her head and continued staring at the screen, not responding with any emotion. I wondered who was calling at this particular moment. What a waste of our moment.
