I plugged my earpods and started riding my bike wearing my school uniform. Our class ended for this week and I feel so refreshed.

What a nice season we have here.

I smiled to Huening Kai and Soobin hyung who are walking out from school too. “Take care you two!” I shouted at them.

“Beomgyu! We should play again with Jay! Hey!” I heard Soobin hyung shouted and I thumbs up to him.

After a couple of minutes I slowed down riding and appreciate this pathway that is full of lively Cherry Blossoms Trees.

I stopped for a moment and picked some flowers with a smile. I put it inside my bag and started riding my bike again.

I arrived to where to a place that I’ve been coming to since a month ago. I parked my bike and started walking inside.

There are only few people and it’s so quiet in here. I stopped walking when I already reached his place.

I gently pulled the flowers inside my bag and showed it in front of his ashes that are inside a cold, gray and marble jar.

“Spring has come so, I brought you some flowers hahaha.” I chuckled.

“Excuse me?”

I turned around and saw Taehyun’s mom. “Hello ma’am.” I greeted.

“Are you closed with my son?” She asks me.

I nodded, “Yeah hahaha. Nice to meet you, I’m Choi Beomgyu.” I introduced myself for the first time and bowed for sign of respect.

“Hello Beomgyu…” Her eyes went down to my hand, “Are you going to put those inside?” She asked me.

“Can I?” I asked for permission.

“Of course ahahah…” She took the keys out and opens the glass frame. “Why did you bring that kind of flower?” She asked me in her sweet voice while smiling at me.

“Taehyun loves spring.”

I nodded and put the flowers beside his picture and smiled while closing it. “Thank you, ma’am.”

“Beom…” She mentioned my name so I looked at her. “That’s the last word I heard from him. Beom…”

I smiled at her and looked at the picture of Taehyun who’s smiling brightly with his black hair, school uniform and his single dimple.

“Taehyun is happy wherever he is right now.” Then I looked at his mom, “I’m going to go now, ma’am. Thank you for today.”

She smiled at me, “Yes hahaha. Thank you also, Beomgyu. Take care.”

I nodded before turning my back. I breathe in so deep to control these heavy feelings. I went outside and ride my bike.

After I arrived home, my mom and grandma is busy preparing for something. I went inside my room and changed clothes.

I saw the plushie bear and I smiled as my eyes landed kn the scarf it's wearing. This bear is still nameless.

“Oh, are you heading to somewhere?” Mom asks me.

“I’ll be back before midnight hahaha. Gotta go for now. I love you all!” I shouted and went out.

Mom bought a new unit that is more comfortable and big for the three of us. I took my phone out and called someone.

“Where are you?”

“Pick me up! We’re going to somewhere.”

(Aish! This punk!)

After a few minutes a white car stopped in front of me. I opened the door and saw Yeonjun hyung inside. “Hello!” I greeted him.

“Tss! Where are we going?” He asks.

“Namsan Tower.”

He’s still blabbering that made me laugh at him. “Have you met the Deity now?” I asked him.

“No. Not even once. I never saw any bit of his face.” He answered.

“I think I saw him somewhere? I just can’t remember when and where was it? I can’t remember his face also.”

“You maybe did and then he erased it.”

“Really? Argh, I hope he didn’t.”

We reached the tower and looked for the padlock that Taehyun and I locked in here.

But before I could found it, my eyes got attracted by the green trees below and some of the cherry blossoms.

I smiled while looking at those that my tears starts falling down.

I made it in here, Taehyun. I made it till spring and I’m going to keep on living happily until the last season of my life.

I brushed my tears and went to where our padlocks are. I found his red heart padlock and smiled when I read what’s written on it.

“See you after a hundred years, hyung.”

I held my padlock and read what I wrote on it during the winter season last year.

“I’ll be waiting for you.”

I couldn’t contain this feeling anymore and I started crying. It’s been a while since I cried again because of him because I promised to myself that I’m going to be happy no matter what.

“Are you okay?” Yeonjun hyung asked me.

“Yeah I am hahaha.” I answered and looked at him, “Let’s go.”

“Where?” He frowns.

“Busan.”

“Hey! Do you think I’m your driver, huh? I have the power to kill you right now!”

“But you’re already driving…” I stated.

“Aiish!”

We’ve been saying the words I love you to the person we really love without knowing the reall the meaning of it.

People can fall in love in every second of their lives. People can fall in love to a thing, movie, idol or this certain person. But it doesn’t mean that it is love.

Love is what your heart chooses to love after falling in love for a hundred times.

Love is a choice and you’re going to commit to make it last longer.

Love is painful. You need to sacrifice and be broken but despite of all of those pains, you still find yourself smiling.

True love is when you are ready to risk everything and bet your life for someone you really love the most.

Just like me, who wished that Soobin hyung will fell in love to me because I was really in love with him but my heart still chooses to love Taehyun.

Love works differently in our lives but one thing I’m sure is that love is the most beautiful feeling humans have.

People fall out of love because that's what they choose to do. They totally let go of their feelings and fall in love again to another person.

Their hearts are looking for the right love that they deserve that's why they chose to let go even if it hurts them.

Above all, I learnt how to love myself and appreciate everything that I can do. I accepted every flaw that I have.

I will never be ashamed that I’m weak sometimes because acting that you are strong all the time won’t guarantee your victory.

Don’t ever lie to yourself and be true to any situation. Trust those people who surround you and love you.

You can’t force yourself to love not until you choose to love that person.

Love is the amount of willingness that you have inside your heart.

After couple of hours we reached a familiar place. He parked the car and I head out first. I walked towards the seashore and saw the sun is about to sleep.

“It’s still beautiful even if it’s leaving soon.”

I sat down in the sand and closed my eyes. The salty air that I can smell and the sound of the waves that’s filling my ears feel so nostalgic.

“Beomgyu…”

I opened my eyes and saw Yeonjun hyung beside me, “I heard it’s your birthday today.” He said while showing me the cake.

“Hahahhaah! Thank you.” I said and I’m about to hold the cake when he pulled it away.

“I’m going to sing for you first.” He said.

“No, I’m good.” I refused.

“No no! I need to sing.” He insisted and started singing. “Happy birth—“

“Stop it please.”

“Okay! Stop it now.”

“BIRTHDAAAAAAAYY TOOO YOUUUUU YEAHHH HAPPYY BIRTHDAAAY BEEOMGYUUU DUMMYYYYY!”

I looked at him like I’m about to erase him in this world. “You good?” I asked bluntly.

“Yeah. CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR BIRTHDAY!” He greeted again that made me laughed and then he finally gave me the cake.

I put in on my lap and I saw what’s written on it. “Happy Bday Dummy.” I read and rolled my eyes at him.

“Oh omo! Wrong spelling? I told her to spell out the ‘Bday’ tsk! I’m going to burn their shop later.”

“Nevermind.” I replied and put the cake back in the box then put it beside me.

“HAHAHAAH! But how was it? Everything?" He asked me seriously.

“It’s not easy and I’m still moving on from everything that happened.” I replied in my low sad tone.

“You just need to trust the Deity.”

“And I did.”

“And I know you’re going to be happy, Choi Beomgyu.” He replied in his voice that sounded so sure.

“I’ve been asking the same question since the day he left and now, I can finally understand it.”

He didn’t answer me and he’s just looking at the horizon where the sun cannot be seen anymore.

I lie on the sand and looked at the sky full of stars. “I know he was fated to die because of me since the beginning… But I won’t focus on that.”

A tear escaped from my eye while remembering every moment Taehyun and I did. From the first met, first wish, how we played in the arcade, danced in the rain, celebrating my grandma’s birthday and loving each other.

“His fate was to love me even if it’s against the deity and the world.”

A shooting star crossed on the sky that made me smile. Seeing him in my memories just made me feel alive and will continue to fall in love with him. I closed my eyes and started to think for a birthday wish,

“I wish that Kang Taehyun will come back as a human and as my lover.”
