"Help me up." Cardi said.

"You're already depending on me to carry you everywhere." Maddox said as he smiled, helping her onto the examination table.

Once Cardi lifted her shirt to reveal her small baby bump, resting a hospital blanket over her lower half, the doctor walked in with an exciting smile.

"Today's the day, isn't it?" she said, washing her hands at the nearby sink.

"It is." Cardi said as she smiled.

"She's ready time go shopping." Maddox said, taking a hold of Cardi's hand in his own.

The doctor began applying the gel onto Cardi's tummy, smiling to herself.

Cardi watched the monitor, biting her lower lip as the doctor began to search for any organs that would determine the gender of the baby.

"There it is." She said.

Cardi perked up, looking up at Maddox.

"There is it." Cardi said, before turning her attention to the monitor.

"Is that –" Maddox asked before being interrupted.

"It seems you two are having a healthy baby girl." The doctor said.

Maddox grinned, looking down at Cardi and pecking her lips.

The doctor captured a few pictures for the sonogram before making sure that the development and heartbeat of the baby were running smoothly.

Once everything was clear, the doctor left the room to print the sonogram.

Cardi wiped the gel from her baby bump.

"We're having a girl." Cardi said, lowering her shirt to cover her stomach.

"Should I be worried about the credit card statement that I'm going to get?" Maddox asked, smiling.

"Don't look at it." Cardi answered.

Maddox laughed.

"A baby girl." Cardi said.

"We'll be having another mini-Cardi running around." Maddox said.

Cardi smiled.
