New Year's Baby Shower

janaydeleón A Bronx Fairy-Tale Baby Shower for @cardiafine, who always throws amazing parties for us so we had to return the love. It took a crew of 40 people more than two days to create this opulent baby shower. Thank God for event planner, Karleen Roy, and event designer Michelle Gainey of Lemiga Events, envisioned a "Bronx fairy-tale"—or, as Roy puts it, "a magical and imaginary Bronx land fit for the quintessential baby girl . . . only this time there is a plot twist in this lavish story: It's a magical, whimsical land, but for the culture!" The fantastical setup featured more than 26,000 pink and white flowers, done by C.Wayman Floral & Events. Blooms burst out of 6 train subway car replicas, while others were crafted into a menagerie of animals including a momma and baby giraffe. The true showstopper was a 16-foot floral facade which @franfine demanded we have. And what would any New York re-creation be without its neighborhood staple—the bodega? Instead of selling breakfast sandwiches and packs of chewing gum however, the Bardi Baby Bodega contained baby bottles and diapers wrapped in pink ribbon. Nearby was the Bardi Baby Book Library which was @nettieafine's idea! Thank you guys for being the best! You literally are my dream team!

nettieafine A Bronx fairytale beautiful Baby Shower!! I have been planning @cardiafine's baby shower in my head for quite some time. So when it was time @janaydelèon, @franfine and I had a plan and we executed it perfectly. Cardi was very specific about everything being pink. So this was the only color we were able to use. It turned out beautifully! Thank to everyone who helped put this spectacular shower together! And I took so many pictures but my favorites are with my sissy and my auntie/godmother @monicadenise thank you for coming all the way from Atlanta for this!

She's already spoiled and she ain't even here yet! Thank you everybody for coming.
