Seems Like Old Times

"We're just stopping by to check on the salon," Cardi said as they got out of the car.

"This place has been running smoothly for two years. Mom is doing a great job." Nettie said as she fixed her dress, after getting out of the car.

Princess walked around the car and smiled at the building.

"Best investment I ever made," Princess said.

"I know right," Janay said.

Cardi chuckled.

"Girl, my mom and I had a plan and we just knew it was going to work. I'm thinking about opening a second location in Miami." Cardi said.

"Does that mean we get to go on a girls' trip to Miami?" Nettie asked.

Cardi nodded.

"Yup," Cardi answered.

The girls started squealing.

"Yes, I need a vacation from Zhan and his three headaches," Princess said.

"Right between Stormi and Axel, I don't know who makes me want to run away from home more," Janay said.

Nettie laughed.

"You guys making me not want to have kids now," Nettie said.

Cardi rolled her eyes.

"Girl, we're just being dramatic. I wouldn't trade my family for anything in this world. Maddox and I are trying to have another one, hopefully, we could get lucky with twins or something." Cardi said as they entered the beauty salon.

It was empty but there were a few lingering clients and workers around but they were focused on the back room.

"What's going on?" Janay asked, confused by the environment of the beauty salon.

Cardi frowned as she heard her mother's shouting.

"Why is my mom shouting?" Nettie asked as they followed Fran's voice to the back of the beauty salon.

"Oh hell no," Cardi said as they quickly walked to the back.

Fran was standing in front of her goddaughter, Blair, as she was yelling at another woman.

"How dare you come in here and try to fight her!" Fran yelled.

"What's going on?" Nettie asked, taking off her shoes.

"Oh wow, you got back up. What do you need backup for?" The woman asked.

"I'ma back your ass up into the trash can if you keep talking," Nettie replied as Fran held her arm out to keep Nettie from approaching the woman.

"Mom, what's going on?" Cardi asked.

"This whore came in here and tried to attack Blair," Fran answered.

Cardi looked at the woman.

"And who the hell are you?" Cardi asked.

The woman rolled her eyes and scoffed.

"She's the dumb bitch that fucked my husband," Blair explained.

"So, you came here to fight a pregnant woman after you fucked her husband," Janay said.

"And who are you?" The woman asked.

"Bitch, I'm Janay Deleón," Janay answered.

"You have this stink-ass attitude towards Blair after you fucked her man. I mean you're the definition of stupid." Princess said.

"What all y'all hoes in here for? I came to talk to Blair and this old washed-up hoe got in my way." The woman said, causing Fran to slap her.

The woman started cussing and yelling, making Nettie jump up on her and start whooping her ass.

Cardi shook her head and started laughing as the woman kept screaming.

"Why the fuck is she screaming for?" Fran asked.

"She came in here big and bad to fight a pregnant woman and now that she getting her ass beat, she's yelling for help," Blair said, shaking her head.

Nettie got off the woman and everyone stared at her on the floor.

"Get the fuck out and if I hear or catch you around my goddaughter, I'll come out of retirement and beat your ass myself," Fran said.

Cardi laughed as the woman quickly got up and ran out.

"I didn't know momma Fran was like that," Axel said.

Nettie chuckled.

"She married a man from the Bronx, did you think she didn't have to get down, living in the Bronx," Cardi said.

"I remember I was three and she had me stand behind a tree as she fought this woman who kept flirting with our dad," Nettie said.

Cardi laughed.

"Chile, I remember my first fight. The girl and her mom came to my house and momma made my ass go downstairs and fight her. I was scared but she said if I lost the fight she would beat my ass, so I made sure to win 'cause I wasn't getting beat for no one." Cardi said.

Nettie squealed.

"Oh my gosh, remember how we first met Princess? Cardi was fighting and then they started to jump her and Momma just grabbed Princess, who was walking on the sidewalk, and told her to jump for Cardi. It was us, four vs six mad bitches." Nettie said.

Princess gasped.

"Oh my God, I remember that," Princess said.

"Really?" Zhan asked, surprised.

"Y'all become friends because y'all had to fight," Maddox said.

"With momma Fran, it's one fight all fight. Don't be surprised if she calls y'all boys to come fight if something happens. She did it to our boy cousins all the time." Cardi said.

"We had so many fights growing up," Janay said, smiling.

"You act like you stopped fighting when you haven't," Axel said.

Janay glared at him.

"Shut up don't act like you ain't been coming home with bruised knuckles," Janay said.

Princess looked at Zhan.

"Yeah, you do too," Princess said.

Cardi looked at Maddox.

"Is y'all a part of a gang?" Cardi asked.

"You gonna ask two years late?" Nettie asked.

"I guess you could consider us a gang," Rocco replied.

Maddox shook his head.

"We have an underground fight between us and a few other associates," Maddox said.

"That sounds like a gang to me," Janay said.

"I knew that something was off you fools," Princess said.

"I'm not in a gang. I'm a businessman." Zhan said.

Rocco chuckled.

"Give up, we've been caught," Rocco said.

Nettie rolled her eyes and pinched his arm.

"Ain't shit funny," Nettie said.

"Since we have figured out that you guys are a gang...I think it's a good time that I tell you that we're going on a business trip to Miami." Cardi said as she looked at her nails.

Maddox said.

"Is this blackmail?" Axel asked.

"No, I'm just telling you guys that we have plans," Cardi answered.

Maddox looked at Cardi.

"What business do y'all have in Miami?" Maddox asked.

"We're thinking about opening a second beauty salon in Miami," Cardi explained.

Maddox nodded.

"Well, I can't come between you and making money," Maddox said.

Cardi smiled.

"Of course, you can't," Cardi said, kissing him on the lips.

"Eww!" Axel said as he covered his eyes.

"Childish," Janay said.
