"I love that we're doing this Valentine's Day prom. I didn't like my prom." Princess said.

"I know right," I said.

The girls and I are getting ready for the prom that Nettie had planned for Valentine's Day.

Everyone had celebrated with their spouses before meeting up to get ready for prom.

"I love that color on you," Janay said, looking at Nettie's dress.

"I know I look like a princess," Nettie said as she twirled around to show the whole dress.

Quiava walked in, looking a little sick but she was dressed up with her heels in her hands.

"Are you okay?" I asked her as I walked over to her.

"Jean and I fought but I'm good," Quiava answered.

"About what?" Princess asked.

Quiava sighed and took a seat as Nettie handed her a water bottle.

"I have hyperemesis gravidarum, which causes severe vomiting," Quiava answered.

"You're pregnant. We knew that but why would y'all fight about it?" I asked.

"He feels like I shouldn't go on about my life and just lay my ass in bed and let this shit kick my ass," Quiava explained.

Janay shook her head.

"Oh no, he's doing too much," Janay said.

"See this is why we're going to Miami; To get away from them weirdos," Nettie said.

"Yes," Princess said.
