Epilogue
Cold.
I can feel.
Pine.
I can smell.
Waves.
I can hear.
Shivering.
I can move?
Am I alive? Does heaven smell like pine trees and sound like I'm lying by a lake?
Wait...
A lake.
I remember a lake.
And air.
Had I been falling towards a lake?
Pain. I could feel pain. I hit the lake hard.
Heaven doesn't hurt though, does it?
Could I still be alive?
I don't know.
I feel weighed down. I feel exhausted and it hurts to breathe. There's a throbbing sensation in my head and chest. I clench my jaw tightly and force my eyes open slowly.
Bad idea.
I shut them right away. It's too bright. Everything is too bright. Everything hurts.
"Good. You're not dead. I was afraid I'd have to bury you myself."

AN;
And this, my friends and loyal readers, is the end of Silver & Gold.
This story originally started out as a fun pet project that grew into a serious book I had no idea I'd be able to create and finish with so many reads, votes, and comments.
A special thank you to those who have spent the time to comment on my chapters, lighting up my day each time I get the chance to read through them. It's what really keeps me going. Thank you also to you silent readers and voters as well. I would not be here without each and every single one of my readers.
There is a sequel, Platinum, which follows CA: Civil War
Don't miss out! There are 2 one-shots that follow this chapter.
