*Edited*
"Himiko, Mina?" Izuku gaped, he felt tears rimming around his eyes at the sight of his two best friends, who were more like sisters to him.
"Holy shit! Poke-a-dot is that you?" Mina squealed, getting up from her original spot next to Katsuki.
"Oh, my little baby! I'm gonna cry!" Himiko wailed, getting up as well, joining Mina in rushing over to the green-haired boy.
The two groups were beyond stunned, and confused, by the sudden outburst, giving the trio odd looks. But, the small gathering of three was too consumed by the fact that they were going to the same school, and were finally together again.
"I missed you, psychopaths!" Izuku gushed, nuzzling his nose into Mina's pinks curls.
"We missed you too asshole," Mina muttered, quickly wiping away the tear before her eyeliner smudged. "How are you even here right now?" She asked, her voice perking up.
Himiko gazed at him excitedly, her and Mina both sharing the same amount of curiosity and hyper-ness.
"I could ask you both the same question- they finally said I was ready to leave the program and I came home about a few days ago." He explained, a light chuckle escaping him. "What about you guys? After they transferred you to a different facility I didn't hear anything from you."
Himiko tugged at her messy space buns, a few more strands of ash blonde hair falling out. "That's because they didn't let us use our phones at that facility, they let us leave a few months ago." She smiled, pulling Izuku into another hug.
Uraraka, being the person that she is, got up, making her way over to the small group of friends with interest and slight irritation. "Wanna explain what's going on here?" She asked with a huff, folding her arms over her chest.
"I know these guys, they're like...my best friends Uraraka- they're cool!" Izuku tried to reassure, wrapping his arms around the two girls for emphasis.
"Yeah- mhm 'Cool'...sure." She muttered, sending a quick glare to both girls, "Well, I'll just be taking him and going back to our table."
Remember how Izuku had a hard time controlling his temper? Yeah...let's just say unless Mina and Himiko stop him- Uraraka's fucked.
"Okay now back the hell up-"
Swiftly, Mina places her hand on his shoulder, giving him a stern look as if to say 'Don't do anything.' much to his annoyance. He didn't think it would be this hard no to snap at anyone, but it is, he's going to be biting his tongue a lot if he wants to stay here with his mother.
"I'll see you guys later?" He whispers to the girls, who nodded in response.
The rest of lunch was aggravating for him, not only was he sitting with people who stopped him from seeing his friends- but his food was cold by now, so it tasted like shit. Sure, he could have just gone up and sat with Himiko and Mina instead, it would be a big 'Fuck you' to the group that snatched him up first- but if he did that, he wasn't sure how his mother would react.
Let's just say, Himiko and Mina know how to draw out the mischievous side of Izuku.
Finally, last period rolled around, which he was all too thrilled for, 'Just an hour left and I'm out of this hell-hole!' he reminded himself.
Aizawa was tired, per usual, so instead of being a responsible teacher...he took a nap at his desk- leaving the class of teens to do whatever they wanted to for the remaining hour.
Izuku scrolled through his phone, absentmindedly dodging spitballs and paper airplanes being chucked around the room. He was pretty sure Asui or Jiro, was talking to him- rambling about something unimportant, so he didn't care to listen until-
"I just saw on Aizawa's desk that we have some huge semester assignment! We have to work in groups of three for it too- do think he'll let us choose who we want in our group?" He looked up, so it was Asui who was talking.
Shrugging his shoulders he pocketed his phone, leaning back in his chair. 'Too bad Mina and KoKo are in regular classes, it would've been fun to be partnered up with them.' He thought, drifting off into his own thoughts yet again.
(KoKo is his nickname for Himiko, I'm still figuring out one for Mina...y'all got suggestions?)
Izuku pursed his lips, actually listening to her comment this time. "It's a possibility, but after just being here for a day I can tell that may not be the case with him," Izuku muttered, just loud enough for the girl to hear.
"Yeah, I guess." She trailed off, making her way to where Lida and Uraraka were talking.
With an audible groan, Izuku lays his head in the desk, pulling at a few strands of green ringlets. He let his mind wander again, honestly just trying to pass the prolonging time. Somehow, his thoughts landed on Katsuki and Shoto, "Don't believe everything you hear about us.", Shoto's monotone voice rang in his head.
What did that mean?
He knew his new 'Friends' didn't like the boys or any of their friends- but why is the real question.
Asking the two boys was out of the question, he'd be way too embarrassed. But asking his so-called 'Friends' just might do the trick- yeah, he could find out through them.
--------------------------------------------------
"Mom! I'm home!" Izuku shouted he came back a little late than expected, getting distracted by all the stores he passed by.
Throwing his bag on the couch he looks around, no Inko insight. He walks to the kitchen, going to get a drink from the fridge only to find a note taped to it.
Sorry, ZuZu,
Guess I should have told you this morning, but on school days I work night-shifts with Mitsuki and Rei at the hospital and don't come back till around one in the morning (Sometimes later than that). Again, really, really sorry honey. But I can't wait to hear all about your first day tomorrow, and besides, we need to talk about your curfew as well young man.
Anyways, there's Katsudon in the fridge and some snacks in the pantry.
Oh, you won't be alone when I'm working the shifts, Katsuki and Shoto are there too!
Love, Mom.
Izuku, scoffed, placing the note on the counter- leaning on it for support. Wait- did she say Katsuki and Shoto are there?
"Well, well, well, look what the cat dragged in." Katsuki's voice rumbled from behind him.
'Aw shit!'
