twenty nine ⇨ real life

THE EVENTS THAT FOLLOWED the last scene of a movie were rather bittersweet. Everyone would remain friends, and though time would eventually pass, when they decided to meet up later, it'd be like nothing ever passed. The movie cast, and Harper, had created a family bond that wouldn't wear down.

Everyone conversed once the final scene ended, no one moved from their places. Nobody changed out of costumes, but rather had conversations with their second family.

Sebastian didn't stay, like the rest, after he caught a glance of Harper half-way through the scene, he couldn't wait to talk to her. As soon as the Russo brothers called cut, he ran to her as fast as he could and swooped the woman into his arms. Seb kissed her cheek as she giggled and squirmed in his arms to get comfortable; and being the complete infatuated fool he was, he grinned at the sound of her laughter.

"Seb, honey." Harper murmured, rubbing the back of his neck. He pulled back, to look at the woman in front of him and smiled. "You're cuddly today."

Sebastian pulled back, just enough to look at her but still as removed himself from the comfortable position. A soft sigh escaped his lips before he smiled sweetly at her.

"I want to go on a date," he told her.

Harper grinned, then laughed. "If that's the case, then ask me properly."

"Harper Matthews, would you like to go on a date with me?" Sebastian asked, his heart beating wildly with a giddy feeling. His lips turned to a grin as she nodded.

She stood up on her toes, pressing a quick kiss to his lips. "Yes, Sebastian. I would very much like to go on a date with you."

Sebastian and Harper had a small conversation with one another, over something insignificant like what show to binge watch when they would meet back up on New York. Their conversation didn't last long and was interrupted by Mackie and Chris joining them once they were bored. Sebastian and Harper tore their gaze away from each other to glare at the pair of goons that joined them.

Chris threw his palms up, putting himself into a defensive stance as he expression mirrored that of confusion. "What?"

Harper rolled her eyes, "We were trying to have a conversation," she stated.

"Oof," Mackie laughed, "When they're not together, we can interrupt them any time we want, but when they are finally together we can't join our friends."

"We're not together, you dipwad." Sebastian said, flipping Anthony off. "And I was trying to organize a date, fool."

Chris grinned and sent a glance towards his best friend. Harper rolled her eyes, then quickly turned her attention to Sebastian.

"You go change and tend to our idiot friends. Text me later about tonight, and we'll meet around seven?" Harper asked, smiling sweetly at the Romanian before her.

He nodded and leaned down to press a quick kiss to her lips. "Sounds good, dragă."

Harper turned around, leaving the boys to themselves. Chris and Anthony snickered as Sebastian watched her walk off, still feeling giddy about the woman. He felt euphoric over the situation, he had wished for this relationship for years with this woman and now he was there with her.

Chris took his attention away from Sebastian and looked to Anthony, a smirk crawling to his lips. He nearly barked out a laugh and fought the urge to grab at his chest as he so.

"Seb, man, you're so infatuated with her." Chris teased him, clapping a hand onto his shoulder and squeezing.

Sebastian shook his head, "Can you blame me? She's so great, she's perfect, Chris."

"D*mn," Anthony muttered, looking up to Sebastian. "You're really into Harper, aren't you?"

Sebastian could only nod. If only his friends knew how hard he was pining over Harper. They'd never let him live it down either; he felt like a love-sick fool.

Chris teetered back and forth on his feet as a thought popped into his head. "Does this mean that Harper's gonna be your plus one to the cast party? Cause I can take Ivona, if that's the case."

Sebastian rolled his head, turning his head to give Chris a knowing expression. Chris looked guilty as Sebastian laughed.

"I know the feelings you have Ona," Sebastin claimed, smiling at his best friend. "I approve."
