thirty four ⇨ real life

HARPER HAD NOT PLANNED on spending the night with the cast members— since they had their own night before the wrap party. Instead, she was seated in the makeup trailer in sweats and a large hoodie with Netflix playing on her phone. That's how she was spending her night; alone with Criminal Minds.

When Chris, Sebastian and Ivona burst their way into the dark trailer, it startled Harper and she let out a scream. Her three friends began their fit of laughter while Sebastian tried to apologize as well. He calmed himself down before he approached her, apologized again and placed a kiss to her forehead.

"Baby, why aren't you dressed?" Sebastian asked, once everything was calm again. "I thought you were going with us."

Harper paused her show and quirked an eyebrow up at him. "Why would I be going? It's for you guys; the cast."

Sebastian grinned sweetly at the woman, leaning down to leave a quick kiss on her lips. "Please be my plus-one. Chris is taking Ivona, and frankly, I'd love to show off my girl."

A smile slowly climbed to Harper's lips, and after a long moment she nodded. She turned off her show and laid her phone flat against the counter, promptly stood up. Harper gently kissed Sebastian's cheek before pushing on his chest softly, telling him to go.

"You boys need to go, but Ivona can stay." She told them and she continued before either of the men could act offended, "I can be ready in thirty five minutes, tops. Think you can wait that long for me?"

"Thirty five?" Sebastian scoffed, "It takes Ona like two hours!"

Ivona hit her brother's shoulder before they both shooed the men from trailer. Once alone, the two women began to make a plan about how to get ready efficiently, which wasn't hard for Harper.

Together, they started and finished Harper's hair quite quickly with just a little dry shampoo and flat iron. Harper started on her makeup as Ivona left the trailer for her's and Sebastian's to grab an outfit, promising to return quickly. She did her own makeup, taking her time to make sure it was perfect enough for the night. It was only a matter of a few minutes until Ivona returned and Harper was nearly done with her makeup by then.

Harper finished her makeup quickly, and Ivona made sure to hype her up. She rushed Harper to get dressed, ready to see the expression on his face when he was met with the woman he loved. She could barely hold in her giggles when she was granted to look at the final product once Harper was finished.

"Aye, mama!" Ivona exclaimed, earning a giggle from Harper. "You are drop dead gorgeous, Harp. Sebastian's got it comin' for him!"

Harper couldn't help the smile that painted her nude-colored lips. "If I wasn't in love with your brother or straight, I'd totally be with you," she joked. "You sure know how to hype someone up."

Sebastian and Chris stood outside, their backs against the trailer as they talked. They heard the door slam close and looked up, their sights landing on the women before them. No words could come out, only the look of admiration and shock. Both Harper and Ivona giggled at their boys.

Sebastian was the first to step forward, reaching out to take Harper's hand. He grinned and leaned forward to kiss her cheek.

"You look gorgeous, doll." Seb whispered, pulling her into a hug and wrapped his arms around her waist tightly.

She laughed and looped her arms around his neck, but not before kissing his cheek also. "Thank you," Harper muttered softly, "But your Bucky is showing, babe."

He whined, "You love Bucky."
