My mum and Sabiha's mum were almost done with cooking finally my custard cake was done, three of us were preparing for the evening meal when Sabiha came downstairs.

I know I can't stay mad at her for long don't know what they discussed we started serving evening meal, tea and snacks.

I saw him from the corner of my eye, he was coming downstairs limping abit hope I haven't hurt him badly I was just annoyed that time but he was all smiles, "What's wrong pretending like nothing happened?"

Sabiha's mum asked," Hey Ayaan! what's wrong with your leg?" I saw the concern on her face and felt terrible, but I did not hit hard ahhhh.

I just looked at the ground as though that was the best thing I could do at the time. I know he will say whatever happened—why would he save me, after all?
