Day 14

Surely the world stops awhile, time itself pauses, braided agonies going down my back cut short now, stacks of worries balanced on my shoulders skydiving left and right, my frustrated fists loosening, my tired gait coming to a halt, all when I look at you there;

--harmlessly resting your chin in the palm of your hand, a sweet smile on your lips. Like you know. How does love do that? I look away then, not before sharing your smile and wondering how can not one die witnessing their lover smiling like that. Tough nut, am I not? Sweet honey, are you not? I shall hide you now, I shall not ever speak of your name. Your name. Mythical, are you? The tinted swell of your cheeks, glimmering sun on your hair, your face is burnt in my eyes, my heart, my soul. I shall forget my own but not yours.

How can I tell him, love is too short a word, for my too grand an emotion? How do I tell him that I love him and I love him and I love him?
