"Hey, are you awake?"

"Well I answered your call so go take a wild guess."

"Same old Sairah."

"Oh you are a genius."

"Will you ever let me in your room Sairah?"

"Will you ever leave my house John?"

"No."

"There is my answer, you really are a genius."

"Stop this. The moment I told you that there was going to appeal for his released, you blocked me out. The second you got home, you ran to your room leaving me waiting at your door-"

"Did it ever occur to you John, that I want to be alone?"

"Sairah I am here-"

"I don't need a man's help!"

"What?"

"Did you ever wonder why I ate alone at lunch? Why I don't have close friends, scratch that, I meant any friends at all, did you ever wonder why?"

"You prefer to be alone."

"No, not prefer, I need to be alone."

"Do you not trust me?"

"It isn't about trust, it isn't even about you, it is about that vile man who I will have to face in a couple of weeks."

"If this isn't about me, then why won't you open the door?"

"I know when I look at you, I will see him and I don't want to see him, John I really don't want to see him."

"Are you scared?"

"I am terrified."

"He won't hurt you."

"That is what he said, he said it wouldn't hurt."

"But this is me saying this, you believe me right?"

"I don't know what to believe John but I am tired."

"You could always go to sleep?"

"No not that, I mean I am tired of him. He is just always going to be there."

"He will be in prison Sairah, the appeal won't work out for him."

"Even while he was in prison, he was still here. I am living in the same house as he..."

"Hurt you."

"I just can't do this any more."

"Tired of being strong?"

"I am not strong John. Ruthless? Yes. Strong? If only I was, seeing him would be a walk in the park then."

"Sairah, everything will be fine. You are seeing your lawyer tomorrow right?"

"Yes, she is coming to the house tomorrow."

"She will help you, I will help you and so will your Dad."

"My dearest father will do nothing for me, don't give too much blind faith to him."

"Well when I shouted at him, he seemed like he cared-"

"Seemed like it? Maybe. But was he actually worried? No."

"Oh dear, you really are a moody one."

"I am not moody-"

"Well I would be moody too, not eating and all."

"I am kind of hungry."

"Good luck with getting food."

"I was wondering if you could get it, be my maid and all."

"No thanks."
