It is now afternoon. The view shows a clearing in the woods near the village. A bunch of random animals are doing a bunch of random things. CORN PO walks towards them.

CORN PO: Fourteen. And fourteen of the weirdest I have ever seen.

COURT POPO, a large tannish-brown dog, walks over to CORN PO.

COURT POPO: Fifteen, counting you.

CORN PO: Yeah, I guess so. I wasn't expecting there to be this many before the whale girl told me.

COURT POPO: Most of them don't really have anything else to do, or at least that's what it seems like.

They look at COURT YIY, a gray and brown dog, who is just sitting still.

COURT YIY: I'm booooooored!

BROCCOLI NA, a rainbow-colored dog, jumps on top of him.

Oh!

CORN PO: Yeah, I can tell.

COURT POPO: So, how'd she convince you to come?

CORN PO: I don't know, I guess I just thought it would be fun to go on an adventure.

COURT POPO: Looks like you're not the only one.

CORN PO: Where is "she" anyway?

COURT POPO: That's a good question.

BEAN NANA floats into the clearing.

BEAN NANA: Hi guys, I'm here!

CORN PO: It's about time.

He and COURT POPO start walking towards her. The other animals follow, and they gather in a circle around BEAN NANA.

BEAN NANA: Okay, everybody, I know that you have no idea what's going on except that we have to rescue someone.

CORN YIY, a small white bear, and BEAN NA, a small pink bear, speak up.

CORN YIY: And that after we're done we'll get some--

BEAN NA: PIZZA!!!!!

COURT POPO: Ooh, pizza!

BEAN NANA: Uh, yeah, I did say that didn't I. Uh, anyway, I was thinking that we should introduce ourselves to each other since all of us barely know anyone else and I was thinking that that would make it easier because if we just had to call each other "You there" for this whole mission then it would get confusing. So why don't we go around the circle and say our names and something about ourselves. I'll start. I'm Bean Nana and what I am doing now is floating not flying, which only odd whales can do, not normal ones, and that means I can only get a little ways off the ground.

She looks at the FLYING TRAPEZE CATS, who are twins. One is a black and white cat, and the other is orange. BEAN NANA points at them.

Okay, you go next.

FLYING TRAPEZE CAT #1: We're the Flying Trapeze Cats!

FLYING TRAPEZE CAT #2: Watch us!

They both grab onto each other's tail and start swinging each other around.

BEAN NANA: Uh, okay... next!

CARROT POPO, a shaggy brown dog, speaks up.

CARROT POPO: I'm Carrot Popo and I can do this!

He flips over onto his head, then back over again.

BEAN NANA: Weird... next.

CUCUMBER NANA, a kangaroo, begins talking.

CUCUMBER NANA: I'm Cucumber Nana and I can bounce really high!

She begins bouncing.

CARROT POPO: And it's really fun! See?

He starts bouncing along with her.

BEAN NANA: Okay... okay, okay... hey? Stop it. Stop it!

She runs into them and knocks them over.

CARROT POPO: Owie.

BEAN NANA: Hee hee, I love doing that. Alright, next!

She points to CORN YIY and BEAN NA.

CORN YIY: I'm Corn Yiy and I really like--

BEAN NA: PIZZA!!!!

CORN YIY: And this is Bean Na and she likes pizza so much that all she ever says is--

BEAN NA: PIZZA!!!!!!

CORN YIY: Yeah.

BEAN NANA: Okay... pizza's good, I guess... next.

COURT YIY: I'm Court Yiy and I'm bored.

BROCCOLI NA jumps on him.

Oh, hi.

BROCCOLI NA: And I'm Broccoli Na and I try to keep him not bored by jumping on him or something.

COURT YIY: That's boring!

He dumps her off.

BROCCOLI NA: Ow--

BEAN NANANA, who looks like a giant baby doll, cuts her off.

BEAN NANANA: I'm Bean Nanana and I really like bowling!

BEAN NANA: That's weird cause we don't even have bowling on this island.

BEAN NANANA: You should and it's not weird that I like it since I'm just visiting.

BEAN NANA: Well, I guess that explains why you're not an animal... next!

She looks at BEANN ANA, a fluffy pink poodle who is sitting on top of CORNP OPO, who is a black cat.

BEANN ANA: Hi I'm Beann Ana and I'm sitting on top of Cornp Opo!

CORNP OPO: Can you get off now???

BEANN ANA: No, I'm talking to this person. Be quiet.

BEAN NANA: No, you can get off him.

BEANN ANA: But I don't want to!

BEAN NANA runs into her.

Owie!

BEAN NANA: Hee hee, I don't know why that's so fun.

She points to CORN NANA, a frog, and BEAN POPO, a lizard.

Okay, you're next.

CORN NANA: Hi, I'm Corn Nana!

BEAN POPO: And I'm Bean Popo,

He jumps onto a tree branch.

BEAN POPO: and I'm higher than you!

CORN NANA: No you're not, see?

He jumps onto a different, higher branch.

CORN NANA: Now we're the same height!

BEAN POPO: I don't want to be the same height, I want to be higher!

CORN NANA: Higher!

BEAN POPO: Higher!

CORN NANA: Higher!

BEAN POPO: Higher!

CORN NANA: Higher!

BEAN POPO: Lower!

CORN NANA: Higher!

BOTH: HIGHERLOWERHIGHERLOWERHIGHERLOWERHIGHERLOWER...

BEAN NANA: I'm starting to regret choosing random people. Okay, come down now! Hey! Come down!

CORN PO: Just run into them like you did with the other guys.

BEAN NA: I can't when they're that high up. Alright, let's just... continue. Who's next?

COURT POPO: I am.

BEAN POPO and CORN NANA return to their spots.

BEAN NANA: Okay, go ahead.

COURT POPO: I'm Court Popo and I--

COURT POPO suddenly lets loose a very large and very foul-smelling fart. CORN PO backs away. BEAN POPO goes to the other side of CORN NANA. They keep trying to switch sides, until BEAN POPO jumps on top of CORN NANA.

BEAN POPO: I'm higher than you.

CORN NANA: Aw, man.

BEAN NANA: And you what?

COURT POPO: Never mind.

BEAN NANA: And last, *finally*, what's your name?

She points to CORN PO.

CORN PO: My name is Corn Po, and I... well, I have a really boring life. That's why I decided to come.

BEAN NANA: Okay, now that we've all introduced ourselves, does anyone have any questions?

CORN NANA: How can you float?

BEAN NANA: I don't know, that's just one of the odd things about this island. The talking whales can float above the ground so they don't have to swim all the time.

CORN NANA: Aw man, then she can be higher than both of us.

BEAN POPO: Yeah.

BEAN NANA: Anyone else?

CORN PO: Yeah, where are we going, who are we rescuing, and why are we rescuing him?

BEAN NANA: I told you that already. You'll find out when we rescue him!

CORN PO sighs.

CORN PO: Fine.

BEAN NANA: Any more questions? No? Follow me, then! We're off to save... somebody!
