The scene fades to show ISLANDER #1 and ISLANDER #2 on Elephant Island, talking to each other while walking down a narrow brick street.

ISLANDER #1: So why did they let you keep it again?

ISLANDER #2: Persuasion.

ISLANDER #1: Who needs persuading?

ISLANDER #2: Let me explain. When the boss heard that the talking animals had escaped, he, as you might expect, was furious. When I told him that I had captured one of them, though, he came up with a plan.

ISLANDER #1: What kind of plan?

They stop in front of a large iron door. ISLANDER #2 pulls out a large ring of keys. As he grabs them, the view shows an Un-Odd Committee badge hooked to his pants.

ISLANDER #2: I'll tell you later. We're here.

He opens the door. They go down a short spiral staircase into a small storage cellar, which has one small cage inside. CORN POPO is inside it.

There it is.

CORN POPO: Oh! Are you here to take me out now?

ISLANDER #1: Well, I can see why you didn't kill it on sight.

ISLANDER #2: Yeah, well, it'll most likely die soon anyway.

ISLANDER #1: Is that part of the boss's plan?

ISLANDER #2 nods.

ISLANDER #2: I'll tell you the rest outside. It can understand us, you know.

Both men exit, leaving CORN POPO alone in the cage.

CORN POPO: Oh... when are they ever gonna take me out of here? Ugh... I don't like this cage. *sigh* It's so boring in here. And the people here are so mean... They won't even give me pie!! They make me angry!!! MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
