A jokers job if to act as a bridging point between good and evil. They are representatives of the demon side. They are mischievous and snarky and never take anything seriously.

That is their role in life. Nobody can make wars when they're too busy laughing at silly jokes.

The Jokers and Warriors didn't get along because they stood for different things. Seriousness and justice, laughter and evasion.

Louis Tomlinson is the son of The Great Joker, the man who relieved the earth's godly represntives of their powers to leave Good and Evil have an equal playing field. Really he just wanted to egg a few bastards.

Louis wasn't like his father. Yeah he liked joking and laughing but he didn't see the need in making everything a joke. He preferred wearing dark colours instead of the expected rainbow of a jester outfit. He liked learning (enough) . He just wasn't what his destiny required.

So he lied.
