Chapter 2
Knowing that she has very little time to tell Lilla about Lizzie's party before it's too late, Nyla must act carefully. The risk of having to deal with her eldest's sister bad mood is too high to be understimated, but there's no other choice. She's still underage so she can't make a decision such as going to a party packed with adults on her own.
She's shaking as she picks her phone, tapping hesitantly on it and waiting for Lilla's response, hoping that she'll be at least a little polite.

Conversation between Nyla and Lilla
Nyla: Hi Lilla. Can we talk?
Lilla: What exactly do you want? I have better things to do than still keeping an eye on you. You're not a child anymore. Grow up.
Nyla: You're just a filthy bitch, let me tell you. I just wanted to ask you to let me go to a party, but I guess your answer is fucking no. Never mind. I'll ask the others. Bye.
Lilla: Suit yourself.

Furious for being unable to talk to Lilla in a civil manner, Nyla decides to ask Liah about the party, hoping that she'll be far more polite.

Conversation between Nyla and Liah
Nyla: Hey Liah, it's me, Nyla. Can we talk?
Liah: What do you want from me?
Nyla: Well, I have to go to a party, and I need someone to give me permission to go. Is it a problem if I go?
Liah: Whose party is it?
Nyla: It's Lizzie's.
Liah: Are you sure she's actually throwing a party?
Nyla: She said she's going to throw a housewarming party. She moved out of her mom's last month.
Liah: Cool. But is Lilla okay with it?
Nyla: Fuck that bitch. I don't need her permission. She isn't Mom.
Liah: You're damn right.
Nyla: 😃
Liah: Though, I have to ask Lizzie if there is actually a party. I want to make sure that you're not lying.
Nyla: Why should I lie to you?
Liah: I don't trust you.
Nyla: Fuck off.
Liah: You don't need to be so feisty. I'm your big sister, after all.
Nyla: Please, stop acting like Lilla.
Liah: Okay. I'll text you later.
Nyla: See you.

Believing that Lizzie isn't being completely honest and that she's hiding something, Liah decides to text her after thinking of the consequences it might entail and how she could react.
However, there's no time for letting thoughts get in the way. She must make sure that Lizzie is telling her truth.

Conversation between Liah and Lizzie
Liah: Lizzie, we need to talk.
Lizzie: Oh, cool. I was just about to text you first. Can I help you?
Liah: Is it true that you're going to throw a housewarming party?
Lizzie: Oh, Nyla told you, right? Indeed, yes, I'm going to throw a huge party! I hope you'll be able to come. And, naturally, your sisters, too.
Liah: Well, I don't know about Lilla and Lanai, but Leanne is busy with work, I think.
Lizzie: Yeah, she told me. But the party is on Friday.
Liah: Friday? Oh, yeah, then things change for sure. I'll definitely tell her and Lanai. They love parties.
Lizzie: So, are you coming?
Liah: Maybe. I have to see if I have something good to wear.
Lizzie: Hehe... hopefully you have. You look sexy in everything.
Liah: Are you trying to flatter me?
Lizzie: What? I'm just complimenting you. Am I not allowed to do so?
Liah: Oh, okay, I guess.
Liah: By the way, I'm gonna let you know if they're coming too. See you on Friday.
Lizzie: See you. Oh, and don't forget to tell Lilla.
Liah: No guarantees for that.
Lizzie: Hehe.

As Liah doesn't reply to her latest message, Lizzie assumes that the conversation is over and that she's talking to Lilla. This is why she's heading back to her living room and sitting in front of her laptop, planning every single detail of her "housewarming party".
Meanwhile, Liah is gathering the courage to face her older sister and invite her to the party, letting out groans every once in a while until she finally writes the first text message.

Conversation between Liah and Lilla
Liah: Okay, Lilla, Lizzie is throwing a party and she invited Nyla, the others, me and probably even you.
Lilla: A party, huh? Why hasn't she told me before?
Liah: She's not supposed to tell you every single detail of her life.
Lilla: But, since it's an event that will see many people participating, I expect her to tell people promptly. And this includes me, too.
Liah: She's not your personal assistant, so get your shit together.
Lilla: Don't talk to me like that, Liah. I won't let you be so rude.
Liah: You are being rude, darling, and don't you try to deny. That said, are you interested in coming to the party? Lizzie would like to see you.
Lilla: Tell her that I don't want to go to her stupid party.
Liah: Okay. If this is what you really want, then have fun bitching around alone and plotting. See you.

After closing abruptly the conversation with her sister, Liah moves on and decides to inform Lizzie about what she and Lilla have just talked about.

Conversation between Liah and Lizzie
Liah: Hi Lizzie.
Lizzie: Hi.
Liah: What are you doing now?
Lizzie: Getting everything ready for the party.
Liah: But it's on Friday, you said...
Lizzie: Yeah, but a good organization makes great parties. Trust me.
Liah: Okay... I'm gonna believe you. Anyway, I told Lilla about Friday and she said she's not coming. So, no bitchiness, don't worry.
Lizzie: Bitchiness? What do you mean?
Liah: Oh, nothing serious. Lilla was just a little moody when we texted.
Lizzie: Oh. Okay. I understand.
Liah: So, about the others, I have to ask Nyla if she's already talked to them, so we'll talk later, okay?
Lizzie: That's a perfect idea.
Liah: See you. :)
Lizzie: See you.

While not admitting it, Lizzie doesn't seem to trust Nyla. This is why she's already in touch with Leanne, who's at a bar called Midnight Bash where she's supposed to work, but...

Conversation between Lizzie and Leanne
Lizzie: Leanne, darling, are you still at work?
Leanne: Hi Lizzie. I'm not supposed to text you at work, but I guess Delaylah will let it slide once again. She herself has been slacking off for three hours.
Lizzie: Hehe. That'd be two of a kind. Anyway, I just texted you because I need to ask you a favor. Would you come to my party on Friday? I promise you'll have fun.
Leanne: Is there going to be pot?
Lizzie: No promises, but I can try to sneak some...
Leanne: Is there going to be Lilla?
Lizzie: No, no, don't worry. She isn't coming. Fortunately. She's a grandma - we don't need her to ruin parties!
Leanne: That whore is likely to be staying at home, probably plotting to get all of us cut off.
Lizzie: What the fuck do you mean?
Leanne: Basically what I said. Hello? Didn't you notice that her behavior is off 99% of the time.
Lizzie: To be honest, I just thought she was a little moody.
Leanne: Oh, whatever. Just watch out.
Lizzie: YOU watch out, or you'll be fired.
Leanne: Okay, okay. See you on Friday.
Lizzie: See you!
