funny, how I managed to get myself burnt
when I wanted to cool off

i was foolish to think that smoke without fire didn't exist
that I wouldn't get hurt

I guess, i didn't realise I could get hurt more than I already am

I didn't know that my i was made of cracking glass wrapped around in thin red tape reading "fragile"

it's kind of funny how the heat shattered me
