■ • Mini Chapter #09 •

NEW RULE!: EVERYONE MUST COMMENT AT LEAST 5 TIMES PER CHAPTER! I'm sick to death of working my ass off just to get nothing in return. I specifically stated in the rules that i prefer comments over votes because it lets me know how I'm doing and if people do or dont like what I'm doing with the story. I'm almost to the point where I'm like "fuck it." I wrote over 1000 words for Shihyuk's vlive and stayed up until almost 2am writing and edit just so I could get it to you guys on time and only 3 people commented on it. I'm extremely disappointed and if yall aint gonna be active as readers then what is the point of me being active as a writer. I could be writing for my ChanBaek or Lu-Dragon fics (or actually doing my course work so that I pass) please do not make me regret chosing this story over all of my other ones.

Now that my rant is over please leave some suggestions for scenes. From now on I'm going to write two mini chapters (one for idols and one for trainees so that trainees get more screen time but like I dont have ideas most of the time so thats why mini chapters are rare or are solely based around Andy.

“How do you do that?” Xing asked with a frown.

He watched the dance teacher carefully but still couldn’t grasp the move. He looked over Lia who was nailing it. He pouted and tried but failed.

“I can’t do it.” Xing complained as he constantly tried.

“Yes you can Oppa!” Lia said encouragingly and continued dancing.

The younglings sometimes worked harder than the older trainees because they felt like they had more work to do. Shisoo walked into the dance practice room with Kyungsoo following behind. Kyungsoo grinned and ran over to Xing.

“HYUNG!” He yelled in excitement.

Xing stopped dancing and hugged the four year old. “Hi little Soo… Hi big Soo Hyung.” He greeted Shisoo politely.

“Working hard I see.” Shisoo smiled proudly.

Both Xing and Lia nodded. “We worked so hard Soo Oppa.” Lia stated.

Shisoo beamed happily and smiled so bright that his cheeks met his eyes. “I’m happy to hear it and as your reward Evan is here to pick you two up. He mentioned something about ice cream and babysitting until Andy is done with his schedule.”

Lia squealed. She hadn’t seen her big brother in a very long time. Lia grabbed Xing’s hand and started pulling him towards the door. “Oppa come on! Let’s go see my big brother and get ice cream!”

Sejun sat alone in the lobby kicking his long feet back and forth under the chair waiting patiently. Tae had promised to hang out with him but Tae had called and said he couldn’t make it because of a modelling schedule so now he had no idea what to do. Tae was the only person he knew in the company since they had grown up together in Incheon.

“Hey Sejun, why do you look so sad?” Sebastian asked when he stopped on the way out of the building with Kijung.

Sejun looked up to see two of the boys he had been recently training with then sighed and looked back down.

“Tae Hyung ditched me for a work schedule and now I have nothing to do since training is over for the day.” Sejun pouted.

Sebastian and Kijung whispered amongst themselves for a minute before Kijung spoke. “Why don’t you come hang out with us? We were gonna go get milkshakes from the cafe across the road.”

Sejun looked up pathetically. “Thanks guys but I really don’t need your pity invite…”

“It wasn’t an invite. Invites imply a choice.” Sebastian said with a laugh and both boys got Sejun up to his feet and dragged him across the road with them.

They all got a table in the cafe and looked over the menu. “You can make a lot more friends if you try talking to someone other than Tae Sunbae.”

Sejun fidgeeted shyly, playing with his sleeves and avoided eye contact. “I-I tried that b-but the person doesn’t like me.”

“Really?” Sebastian asked in surprise. “Who did you try to talk to?”

“Andy…” Sejun answered.

“Oh ignore him. He is cold to everyone.” Kijung said, rolling his eyes.

Sejun bit his lower lip hard. “He straight out said he doesn’t like me.”

Sebastian frowned at that but Kijung raised his eyebrow. “Exactly how friendly were you and Tae acting around him?”

Sejun shrugged. “We’re as close as brothers I guess but I don’t see what that has to do with anything.”

Sebastian shared a glance with Kijung and then let out a small laugh when he realised what Kijung meant by that. “Are you seriously saying that Andy is the jealous type?”

Kijung shook his head. “Not jealous. Slightly possessive when he feels threatened. Doesn’t happen often but I once saw it when we were hanging out and Tae met up with his other friend that he is really close to.”

“Oh.” Sejun nodded. “I guess I could try harder then…” Sejun took a moment to think before looking up at both of them. “Will you guys be my friends?”

Sebastian and Kijung smiled widely and spoke in unison. “Of course we will.”

“It's not just any mirror guys, it's…” Daeo paused. “It’s whatever.”

Lucy snickered and the director called out to them. “Go again.”

“You spent our entire dorm allowance on a mirror?” Lucy said in character but cracked up laughing. “Oppa can you not make that disappointed face?”

“He should be disappointed. Wait until he realises the mirror is a fake.” Haruka May laughed.

Daeo let out a fake gasp. “I spent our dorm allowance on a fake mirror?”

“Guys come on! We have to get this right.” Junkai whined.

“Move on to Haruka’s reaction.” The director yelled.

The group went back into professional mode and took their places. The entire group looked at Haruka who was sitting on the armchair writing in a notepad.

“Noona what do you think?” Daeo asked sounding desperate.

Haruka looked up then tried to stand up excitedly but tripped on her own feet and fell to the floor making the others burst into a fit of laughter. Haruka laid flat on the floor and groaned. “It’s perfect.” Her voice was muffled by the carpet.

“This just isn’t going well… Take 5!” Khloe called, wanting to do the scene again.

Haruka sat back down on the chair and started writing again. The director yelled out that the cameras were rolling again.

“Noona what do you think?” Daeo asked again trying to mimic his tone from the first time.

Haruka looked up and got up excitedly. She walked over to the mirror and inspected it before popping her head out from behind the mirror to look at them all with a goofy grin on her face.

“It’s perfect!” She exclaimed.

“Try again.” The director said. “Haruka Sweetie, you are suppose to say "it’s perfect" when you stand up. When you pop out from behind the mirror you are supposed to compliment Daeo’s character.”

‘This is a bad idea’ Jay thought to herself as she stormed her way through the company.

She kept a cold look on her face hoping no one would stop her or distract her by talking to her. She had been meaning to do this for months but her pride had stopped her from doing so. She pushed open the dance practice room door and walked inside interrupting Saya’s dance practice.

“What do you want Ji?” Saya asked when she saw who it was.

“I want to call a truce.” Jay said confidently and Saya glared at her suspiciously. “You and I have never gotten along. You got me kicked out of the debut line up and in return I got your group put on hiatus and disbanded... I want us to call it even and just end the feud here. Both of us are going to be solo acts now so we should cheer each other on and not tear each other down.”

Saya snorted in disbelief. “Yeah right.” She rolled her eyes and got close to Jay. “Like you said we are both going solo. Which means we are each others competition not each others pathetic cheer squad. This company isn’t big enough for the two of us.”

“It’s certainly not big enough for your gigantic ego.” Jay mumbled to herself with a sigh.
