I drove my Jeep though town with the windows down, letting the cool after storm air blow in. I hear my phone beep signaling someone just texted me. Ignoring it I concentrate on the place where I am going. The woods give me some piece in mind, even though all that happened their I like it.

Parking my car at the edge I hop off with my phone and headphone in hand. The ground is still moist from the storm yesterday and a cool breeze blows through every now and then. I make my way into the wood to my usual spot close.

Finally making it to the big stup I climb on top and look all around. The surrounding scene is quite and very pretty. I finally look over at my phone to see it was Maria that had been texting me, more like notifying me my dad will be in town next week. I shake my head knowing fully well he will be here for a day mostly sleeping.

Replying back with a "ok" I go to my music and press shuffle. Popping in the headphones I open up one of my digital books. My current read is Harry Potter in his fourth year. This has to be my all time favorite year.

The year that Lord Voltermor Rises again and yet Harry still escapes. My favorite character since book one has been Ron Weasly's little sister. She may have only been mentioned a few times, but I still love her.

A rustling in the leaves brings me out of my thought process of reading. I yank out my head phones and listen, only to hear the whimpering of a dog. I'm not much of a dog person but curiosity got the best of me. I stood up and hopped off the stump, to go check and see if the dog-If it is that- is hurt.

I make my way through the trees stepping over dead leave surely making a lot of noise. Hopefully I don't scare it away.  I past the trees to see a huge dark brow wolf. Oh no here we go again. I stood in place and frozen as the wolf just looked at me. He had a deep gash on his side and the red blood was mixing in with it's dark fur. I take a step closer and the wolf looks over in my direction again and kind of growls making me freeze in place again.

"I just wanna help," I whispered as if it could understand me. I took a step closer and it did not growl at me. At last I finally made it all the way to the wolf I bent down and looked at the cut that was pretty deep. Maybe I should take it to the vet or something?

How would I get it in my car tho, should I just let it pass out from blood loose? No that's mean. But, it is loosing a lot of blood.

"Stay here, as if you could understand me. I am now talking to myself," The wolf looks up at me. "I swear u probably think I'm crazy, oh but anyways, stay," I stood up and ran to my car witch wasn't that far away.

Maybe I could put it in my car and then take it to the vet. I'm brilliant I know. I started to drive my car into the woods and finally made my way back to the wolf, that was still surprisingly there. Get as close to it as I could, I hopped off the car and popped the trunk open.

"Not so brilliant now, how am I supposed to get you in the car, without you killing me. I swear this is going to come back and haunt me," Looking back at the wolf, "Get in the trunk," I demanded then busted out laughing.

I think there's something wrong with me. But, to my surprise the wolf got up and hopped inside the trunk. If he- witch I found out while I was watching him, I'm not a perve its an animal- was any bigger he would not fit in my trunk. After getting situated I shut the trunk then hopped in the front and started driving.

Fifteen minutes later I am in town with no clue on what to do. The vet most likely wont take him in if he seems aggressive, and I would rather not let a strange animal loose in my home. As I was driving around town I saw Alex, Parker, and Leah, along with another girl who I do not know walking.

I stopped the car in front of them as they were about to cross the street. Hopping out the car, they all just stared at me. "Guys, I need help! I did something delirious and ya'll are going to probably think I'm crazy for it!" I rushed out. They all looked at one another.

"Eva, who's blood is that," Leah asked. I looked down at my hands and shirt that were covered with blood.

"It's not mine, I'm getting to that. Well you see I found an animal injured in the woods and I was helping it, strange thing when I touches him, it sent sparks through my body, I'm crazy right?" I asked putting my hands through my hair.

"First off why were you in the woods and why did you pick up a strange animal," Parker questioned me. I held up a finger and ushered them all to follow me to my trunk opening it I showed them the wolf.

"How was I supposed to leave him there!?" The girl that I did not know squealed and rushed over to the wolf. They all did and I was pushed back.

"You found him! He's our beloved pet! Can we go back to your house, we currently have nowhere else to go," Leah was the first to turn around.

"Pet?" And I thought I was crazy!

"Yes, pet," Alex finally spoke.

"Ok, and sure, but what do we do about him being hurt?" I asked.

"I can fix him up good as new," I shrugged and then told everyone to hop in.

I can not believe I am letting a strange animal in my house. Maria is going to freak. We all packed in my car. Once we got to my house I was quick to open the door as everyone helped get the wolf out of my jeep. I rushed to the kitchen and swiped the island clean.

"Set him here," I called, then ran to the bathroom to get the first aid kit. Coming back I hand it to the girl that I do not know and she handed it to  Leah.

"By the way I'm Audrey. I've herd so much about you Eva," The wolf growled and I looked over Audrey's shoulder to see it staring at me and Audrey. She turned around to help Leah. 

"Hey, Eva maybe you should go clean up. So you won't get blood anywhere, you know," Alex lead me to the stairwell and nodded my head. Going to Maria's room before mine I see that she is not there, and since its Saturday I'm assuming she is grocery shopping. I went to my room and took a quick shower rinsing all the blood off.

At last all the blood was off and I quickly dried off then threw some clothes on and ran back down stairs. Leah was now done patching the wolf up and everyone was cleaning up- they had found the cleaning supplies.

"Guys, can we move him up to my room?" I asked. "Maria will be here any second and will freak if she's a wolf on the kitchen island," They all nod.

"Is Maria your mom?" Audrey asked as I lead them to my room.

"No she's my nanny. My mom died when I was little," I opened my bedroom door. "Set him on the bed I can change my sheets later.

"Evangeline! Are you home sweetheart?" The door downstairs opened and my eyes bulged.

"Stay here, I will be right back. Yes Maria!" I went downs stairs to greet her.

"Aye hija, your so skinny, I finally bought groceries so no more starving!" I laughed.

"Thanks Maria, but-" She cut me off.

"Yes sweetheart."

"Just wanted o warn you I have friends over we'll be up in my room!" I yelled before running off up stairs and to my room slamming the door shut behind me. Everyone looked at me including the wolf. "That's covered. Anyways, do ya'll need anything?" I asked.

"Food," Audrey slapped Parker.

"Don't be a pig!" I laughed.

"Don't worry give Maria five minutes to make something and she will be up here back and forth between the kitchen and this room until you can no longer walk," Parker looked at me.

"That sounds like a challenge," I smiled.

"I bet you, you won't last four hours," He smirked.

"Your on!"

"You've hit dangerous ground, my brother can eat, and I mean a lot," I laughed.

"After this he won't look at food the same way again," There was a knock at the door and everyone threw blankets over the wolf while I said "let the games begin".

"I brought you all a snack, I didn't know how may of you there are so i just brought two dozen of donuts."

"Thanks Maria," after she said hi to everyone she left. "A whole dozen for Parker and the rest for us."

"Brink it on!"

Ten minutes later Maria brought ten peanut butter & jelly sandwiches along with five glasses of milk.

"I don't care for peanut butter so you can have mine Parker."

"That's cheating Eva!" I shrugged my shoulders and smiled.

Twenty minutes later Maria knocked again.

"Sorry to bother you all but I made enchilada's and rice if you'd like some," I nodded my head. After, Leah reassured me that the wolf would stay put we all went down to the kitchen to eat yet again.

"You all eat as much as Eva dose," Maria laughed at us all. After we all decided we didn't want the last enchilada Maria pulled out the huge back of strawberries along withe two things of chocolate. "You can take this up to your room if you'd like," I nodded and we started to headed up to my room before I remembered about the wolf and took the left overs without Maria noticing.

Setting the pan on the floor the wolf came over and I back up all the way to the wall, then ran to the other side of the room. "He won't hurt you," Audrey said while petting him.

             Finally the four hours was up and neither Parker or I could walk.

"I think you've met your match,"Alex said.

"I told ya'll to stop after the first two hours," Leah commented. Both Parker and I groaned.

Forgetting that the wolf was at the head of my king sized bed I laid back only to bolt up right. Everyone shook their head.

At least everyone was tired and had cleaned up we were all ready for bed so at last not caring where the wolf was I laid down along with Audrey and Leah, Parker and Alex laying on the floor.
