Yoongi is a young teenage boy who lives with his father. Well, let me tell you about his family.

Min Yoongi was young when he lost his mother from a surgery she had. His father was diagnosed with liver cancer. Because his father was admitted to the hospital for treatment, he worked as a delivery guy to get paid. While raining he had to deliver something immediately but got into an accident. By this, it damaged his shoulder, and it turned out that he had to have surgery. Because of this, he was diagnosed with depression and anxiety. He tried everything to save his father, but it led him to give up and let the demons he battled.

He created a new alter who is very aggressive and helps him handle his pain.

The altar he created was named 𝗔𝗚𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗗

It was a Monday morning, and Yoongi, a 23-year-old senior student who was new at Bighit University in Seoul.

He lives with his father as his mother has passed away since he was 15. Well, that's what everyone experiences. It is more painful than ever.

Yoongi POV

They say that the amygdala is there for the emotions that are controlled. Well, I used to think that my amygdala was something that I never knew until he told me.

My name is Min Yoongi and I'm 23 years old. I'm just a normal boy who knew nothing about death until I experienced it. Well, let me tell you a sad journey of my life because it happened to me.

First of all, I lived with a lovely family. My mother Min Sooha and father Min Geum-jae ( a/n used Yoongi's brother's name couldn't think of one so yeah)

My mother was a very beautiful woman and she met my father. I learned that they met in high school fell in love, and got married. That's when I was born.

One thing I didn't know was that my mother was suffering from heart disease and needed surgery. Well, we couldn't afford the bills, so my father had to work to afford it. I was 10 when she was in surgery. My father got the money to pay for her bills and she was admitted to surgery. They did the surgery, but sadly, she died. I never forget the sadness in my father's eyes. After my mother's funeral, my dad started having pains. He went to the hospital and was diagnosed with cancer in his liver. I was 15 when he was diagnosed with it. I was homeschooled after I was diagnosed with cancer. When I was 17 my father's cancer was getting him that he needed treatment. That's when I had to look for a job. I got a job as a delivery guy. I didn't get enough but I saved for my father. One day, when it was raining hard, I had to deliver something immediately as I was the only one who was not off. I got my bike and rode to my destination, I never saw a car and got into an accident which shuttered my shoulders. I was scared to tell my father what happened as he was finally discharged from hospital. Because of the condition of my shoulders. This leads me to depression and anxiety. I was only 19 when this happened. That's when someone by the name of Agust D was in me. He is the same personality that helps me with my mental health issues. That's why I have a scar on my left eye because he did it.

3 years after leaving Daegu

It is 3 years since I left my hometown in Daegu. My father found a place in Seoul. It was so emotional as I had to leave my Mother's grave. I was quite nervous as I had to start a new school. I never went to school as I was homeschooled because my father couldn't afford money for my fees as my mother was sick. Well, I was shocked when he said he was moving to Seoul until he said he received a letter from his doctor that his treatment was in Seoul. Well, there is one secret I never told anyone, not even my father.

I was so emotional that I saw Seoul for the first time. I never experienced something so beautiful.

It's like a magical city, especially at night. I was in my bedroom looking at the lovely stars, and a knock came into my room.

I saw my dad and he looked sad. I knew it was a bad sign. My father isn't recovering well. I wanted to cry but I stopped my tears.

My father and I ate supper, and  I went to my bathroom, took a shower, and brushed my teeth. I changed my PJs and looked at myself.

I don't know your name the voice in my mind told me. It seems like he's calling me for help, but I don't know how.

I got to my room and I went to my bed. My father came in and sang me a song my mother sang. It's called amygdala.

(The author is sorry. I just love this song so much that I cried while listening to it. )

After singing I said good night and fell asleep.

My dad said good night and closed my bedroom door. Tomorrow is my first day at Bighit University.

I said one more time good night to my mother and fell deeply asleep.

A/ n

The first chapter of Amygdala is sad as Yoongi is suffering from a trauma he didn't expect. His father cared for him even though he was suffering as well. He didn't want his son to give up like how he did.

Also, everything mentioned is based on the song amygdala, like his accident, mother's surgery, and father's liver cancer. He also didn't know who was calling him.
