Personality:
Generally known as the ice princess in Castle Krakenburg, Loire is very cold, isolated, and even violently aggressive when she gets angry. She hates taking orders from someone else and would rather order herself and people around her to feel powerful and less used even if she may kill someone if it means ordering on a battlefield. She believes she can do anything and everything at full capacity mainly out of spite for being kept under control of Garon and the bad treatments she received from the Northern Fortress. Because of the air that emanates from her and her default facial expression, she is mistakenly seen as stuck up. She tends to have a sharp glare and would stand up tall as she looks down on other people to give them warnings of how high, dangerous, and mighty she is compared to them when in reality she isn't. Generally, the young woman just wants to be in control of her own life for once rather than be controlled by others thus creating her stubborn personality and unhealthy large ego. She really hates been seen as weak especially since she has always been viewed and looked down on as weak her entire life especially when she couldn't do anything against Garon. Eventually, Loire learns to open up to others and befriend them, however, it takes time due to her trust being "abandoned" once by her friend who suddenly disappeared without her knowledge. Due to that event, she believes just about anyone would suddenly stand up and leave her behind without a word. Loire never smiles in general, but when she does she only shows a small and graceful one rather than something big and toothy. Other than that a grimace is usually etched onto her face. The young woman is known to be a sweet tooth and loves any dessert served to her with tea. She, however, gets nervous if it is someone other than her servants or Nohrian siblings is serving it to her which makes her paranoid that one may try to poison and get rid of her. Loire is a really nice person, but it is hard to tell because of all the barriers she set up for herself and her straightforward personality. She doesn't even try to hide cold truths underneath sarcasm and just says it all whether it is hurtful or not-- as long as she doesn't come off as rude in her own book, she won't feel bad. She will also let everything out to children which concerns her siblings and encourages them to try and tame her tongue even if it is just a tad. She is very bad with social connections due to being stuck in the tower for so long and even created major mistakes she cannot fix during her time she commanded her army out on the battlefield when she got out of her prison. As time passed by, her knowledge in strategy expanded and her way of communicating slowly loosened up a little to make a good number of people more comfortable around her now that she is a leader for the army she commands. She still is awkward when she tries to spend time with others other than her servants and siblings due to paranoia.

Appearance:
Pale minty green hair, cranberry eyes, and fair skin

Loire has slightly choppy layered hair that is messily braided and pulled over her left shoulder. Her straight fringes are slightly choppy and swept to the right, barely reaching to her eyebrow and showing her sharp eyes. A black string is seen crossing her head twice and tied around comfortably into a small bow at the center of her head. A long lock of hair covers the left side of the string frames her face up to her chin while her right lock reaches to her cheek. Her loose braid looks as if it could fall apart and is tied by a fixed up black ripped fabric into a bow.

She is seen in the standard uniform of a Nohr Princess where she wears a black shirt with a tall sharp collar that folds downwards to show the grey underside. Around the shoulders her sleeves puff out while the rest of her sleeves hug her arm comfortably like a glove-- the sleeves are technically her gloves in general. Her shirt is tucked into her black panties and her black frilled stockings are worn to cover a majority of her legs excluding the sole of her feet. To protect her body, she wears grey armor to cover her upper body, arms, and legs-- half a kilt is seen secured on the left side of her-- she remains barefoot. Her armor resembles a dragon's scale such as her dragon form.

Biography:
Though born in the Hoshido Royal family as a set of twins, Loire and Kai are the twin daughter and son of Mikoto and Sumeragi yet Loire was raised in Nohr all her life apart from her brother. The King and Queen had decided to name their older female twin, Nagisa, and their younger male twin, Kai. Hearing the news of the Hoshidan new royals, Garon called for a parley between Nohr and Hoshido-- despite their conflict-- with Sumeragi and was also requested to bring the set of twins along with him. The lying Nohrian king ended up attacking the Hoshidans without warning at their "conference" and as a result, Sumeragi was killed protecting both Nagisa and Kai from the threats falling before them. Believing that the son was killed in the raid, Nagisa was taken away by Garon as his new child and raised in the Northern Fortress near Castle Krakenburg from then on with her newly assigned retainers and servants, Flora; Felicia; and Jakob. Upon being taken away from her step family and blood related mother, Garon also decided to hide all traces of her Hoshidan connections and renamed the child "Loire" as well as sealing away her memories of the events of Sumeragi's death and her time in the land of Hoshido. As her life continued forward in Nohr, she was never allowed out of the Northern Fortress she was imprisoned in until Garon believed she was ready to leave as she grew up. Loire did whatever she could to keep herself entertained from within the confined building by playing around with her growing hair, dressing up, and along with her servants who cared for her deeply simply having tea and chatting. She was then eventually assigned a combatant teacher, Gunter, when it was time for her to start picking up a weapon of her own-- she grew very close to him during her training just as close as she was with her servants and siblings.

Worried about her health and sanity, the Nohrian royal siblings often dropped by at the Northern Fortress to visit her when they could. Xander came to see her most for he was her sparring partner during the years, but that didn't make him her instant favorite sibling-- in fact, she loved them all equally. Even so with those she cared seeing her, Loire still grew up to be cold and a bit isolated from everyone she didn't know or like because of Garon's harsh treatment towards her and the lack of fatherly love he didn't bother to give her rather than a positive and bubbly person similar to Elise. Seen to be disrespectful towards Garon during her time in Nohr for not listening to his exact words, the girl had her hair chopped off with a sword by her own "father" without her consent and was threatened to have something else done to her if she didn't behave the way she was expected to. It was more than possible that he would kill her on the spot if she continued to ignore his commands. Seeing how upset the princess was, Flora did her best to fix up Loire's hair whilst Jakob and Felicia treated her with dessert and company they believed she needed. Ever since her hair had been cut off without any warning, Loire eventually gave in and lived under Garon's absolute control despite growing to dislike him, but it was only to live and escape from the Northern Fortress to be with her Nohrian siblings. Her dream was to be free to do what she wants to do like the others, though she was unaware that no one was free under Garon's watch. When she is married in the future, she'll have a son named Kana.

Some time later, a boy named Silas wandered over to the Northern Fortress out of curiosity, unaware that the Princess was trapped inside, waiting to be set free. She came off cold towards him at first when she was spotted due to being unsure of who he was and cautious to why he was even there. From time to time after their first rough meeting, Loire ended warming up to Silas as he kept sneaking in to see her and was always excited to see him when he came to see her. He soon was forbidden to visit her the day he tried sneaking her out briefly for a picnic shortly after. Unaware of his veto and very upset about his disappearance without a word, Loire continued to coil up more of her hatred towards her Nohrian father who continued to treat her unfairly but also transferred her hatred towards the Nohrian soldiers and even towards Silas for "abandoning her in prison"-- she eventually forced herself to forget about him weeks later which then caused her to forget about him completely in the future. Ever since then, she continued to grow up with the company of her servants who always dressed her up for fun to keep her sanity in check and distract her from her terrible treatment from everyone associated directly under Garon. One day-- after her spar with Xander-- the girl found a bird, injured and fatigued, out at the fortress grounds; worried that it was going to die lonely without anyone to look out for it just as she felt about herself, Loire took it in and nursed it back to health from that day on. Little did she know, the "bird" was going to impact her life heavily as her important companion. Years after during her confinement at the tower, Loire had a strange dream cut short when she was awaken by her servants to get ready for the day. The dream was of a battle between her Nohrian siblings and people she had never seen before in which she assumed were Hoshidans by the way they dressed. Unable to speak about it because of her schedule, Loire was immediately taken out by Xander for a quick sparring session and was soon after summoned into the halls of Castle Krakenburg. Upon her arrival, she was gifted the blade, Ganglari, by Garon and was given permission to leave the castle ground only when instructed to. With that said, the young woman was ordered to execute their recent new captures-- Kaze and Rinkah-- from crossing the border in order to see her proof that she was officially ready.

Loire disliked the thought of killing other people, despite them being enemies, but was more spiteful against having to listen to Garon. As a result, she ended up going against his orders to let them go though she was anxious about having possible threats come at her by Garon. Disappointed with her actions, Garon continues to task her different assignments for her first day out of the fortress-- her second task was to have her survey a fortress the Hoshidans managed to infiltrate and take over with her escorts being Gunter and a criminal Xander had captured, Hans. After her job was done, Loire was to head back to Castle Krakenburg and give a report, but Hans acted upon himself and turned against them on the way back by attacking Gunter first. Lilith was quick enough to take Loire into the Astral Barrier for safety before she was harmed, but Gunter was already lost at the Bottomless Canyon much to their dismay. Upset with her loss, Loire rested up in the Astral Barrier her attendant had brought her to and pondered about how she would explain the event to everyone especially when Gunter was no longer with her. As soon as the young woman left the rest space Lilith took her to, Loire was quickly knocked out and abducted by Rinkah only to be brought to Hoshido. Upon her return after years-- though it wasn't the most convenient return due to having to be unconscious halfway there-- Loire was introduced to the people she saw in her dreams and was also quickly overwhelmed by information she believed was false and fabricated to make her turn against the Nohrians whom she loved dearly aside from Garon and those who looked down on her.

Queen Mikoto and Ryoma took it slow at first, telling her that the Hoshidan royals were her real family members and her name was Nagisa, the Queen even embraced her much to her discomfort and confusion. As she was being treated warmly by the family as one of them, except for Takumi, which struck her as odd, she was also told that she had a twin who was currently defending off a hoard of unknown enemies that appeared northeast of Castle Shirasagi recently after he had aided Sakura and Hinoka for their safety. Their stories were making it harder for her to believe even much further than before especially due to not being able to see this twin for herself. During her unexpected visit at Castle Shirasagi and the town, Loire was introduced to the Hoshidan citizens who treated her with respect and heartwarming welcomes, which got her nervous around everyone due to not experience such things in Castle Krakenburg or Nohr in general. She was even introduced to Azura-- who she ran into out of curiosity from her song-- who told the young woman that she was inversely kidnapped by the Hoshidans as retaliation towards Nohr's action. Her short tour in the bright town quickly ended when a hooded figure caused the destruction of Hoshido and the death of Mikoto with Ganglari's use, thus making Takumi put all blame towards Loire despite Ryoma's counter.

Angered to be falsely framed by the man and Takumi, the young woman uncontrollably shifted into her dragon form and attempted to rip apart everything in her way out of rage and confusion of everything poured onto her. Azura managed to stop her rampage the way she had to stop Kai when his powers went imbalanced, resulting Loire to be reverted back to human, her dull figure slumped and filled with disdain towards many. With everything in debris, a legendary sword-- the Yato-- was revealed in the statue center of the town undamaged and bright. With Yukimura explaining the sword and situation they may be in now that it was found, the Yato-- strangely enough-- split into two with one going to Loire's possession, catching her attention back into reality, and the other vanishing away much to everyone's confusion. With the barrier protecting Hoshido from Nohr gone, the Nohrian royals quickly issued an attack at the plains of Hoshido only to be stopped by the Hoshidan royals. Recognizing the event and matching it up with her dream as the young woman head off to the field with everyone else with curiosity, Loire was greeted with the scene of both royal families crossing blades with each other and calling out for her to stay with them just as she had dreamed up the night before. Kai soon joined in with the Hoshidans to help push back the attack, leaving both the Nohrians and Loire shocked towards his existence and his questionable appearance of a Nohrian, which left Takumi completely disgusted of him ever since. Meanwhile, the sword he possessed, the other half of the Yato, caught his Hoshidan siblings and his twin's attention as well.
