Hope you like it 😊 I'm not exactly counting this as a chapter so I'm posting a chapter in a few seconds.

Anyway on with the story.

Today was supposed to be special but it isn't, today is Peter's 14th birthday him and his two dads were supposed to celebrate but however being the adopted son of two famous busy saving the world superhero's, gets lonely. They said they'd celebrate once they got home truthfully peter wasn't in the mood to do anything for his birthday.

Peter doesn't want to be selfish because his dads are saving the world for him and other kids to live their lives happily but his life is far from normal he has superheroes for aunts and uncles he loves them all so much but he wishes he could spend more time with his parents.

So he never says anything he just keeps to himself letting the pain settle deep down in the pit of his stomach today he doesn't want to even want to celebrate at all considering his family isn't even around they're on a mission....again.

While peter sat quietly in his room occasionally talking to F. R. I. D. A. Y. he heard a noise and asked Fri what it was but never got a response back so he went to check it out and then the world faded to black he woke up some time later tied to a cold metal table and a bright light shining in his face.

{3 weeks later}

He peered over to see a man wearing a surgical mask holding a syringe and to say peter was terrified was the biggest understatement of the year. Then the needle went into his forearm and he screamed in agonizing pain.

The pain was excruciating to say the least but that fear hasn't left first off he didn't know where he was and most definitely wasn't with his parents all he wanted was to wake up and be in his fathers arms shushing in his ears saying it was all a bad dream.

But then there was commotion outside people were screaming and guns were being fired when all hope was almost lost peter heard the arc reactor and knew it was his dad but everything was so loud and bright eventually peter fell asleep again.

Tony's POV

We rescued peter from Hydra and hopefully they didn't torture him at least Bruce has him setup in the med bay of the compound Mj and Ned came over to see peter and surprise him but called us because he wasn't home but they said they had to tell us something. "So what did you guys want to tell us?" My husband asked.

"Peter told us a while ago that he wishes you both were home more and would spend time with him more he feels neglected and insecure because you guys are away a lot he didn't really want to celebrate his birthday because you guys weren't here." Mj explained.

"Why didn't he tell us this?" I asked.

"He didn't want to feel like a burden or seem selfish because he knows what you all do everyday he just wants you that's all." said Ned.

"Tony, Steve peter's been asking for you." said Bruce walking into the room.

Steve and i stood up walking swiftly to the med bay seeing our son in the bed staring at us we went towards him engulfing him in a hug listening to his soft cries. "Hey it's okay kiddo dad and papa are here."

After a while of holding him and calming down we sat in front of him wondering if we should ask him or not. "Peter could we ask you something?" Steve questioned.

"Y-yeah papa what's up?"

"Ned and Mj told us some things about you being insecure and feeling neglected could you tell us why you were thinking these things?"

He looked down fiddling with the blanket i took hold of his hand and he looked at me, "It's okay kiddo papa and i aren't angry with you we just want to know what's going on inside your head."

He nodded, "When you and papa have to go i get scared sometimes and worry about if you're okay and you both will come home but when you are home you don't pay attention and the reason i didn't tell you this was because i thought i was being selfish." He explained.

"Bud it's totally okay to come to us and tell us how you're feeling and what you're thinking you don't have to hide anything we will support you through anything and everything." Steve said.

"Promise?" Peter asked.

"We promise." I said.
