(This chapter is pretty angsty and I've written a chapter similar to some of the chapters I've written in Sokovian Siblings, if you haven't yet go check it out.)

Anyway on with the story!

It was day 356, Peter and his father were still trapped, in an eight by eight foot cell. Their hope of being rescued was dwindling as they days went on, each day they would take Peter or Steve and experiment on them. HYDRA was planning to extract Peter's blood and create their own super spider serum.

While they experimented on the boy they would extract blood from Steve and try to mix it with Peter's, once the scientists were done the guards would toss both Peter and Steve back into their cell. Peter whimpered in pain, when Steve heard him his heart ached.

His son was literally being tortured and he didn't have the strength to bust them out, he hated seeing Peter in that much pain. As a parent you want to protect your kids from anything that could put them in harm's way, but at this rate who's going to save them?

Steve used the strength he had left to crawl to Peter, sitting up against the wall and laying Peter's head on his lap, combing his fingers through his hair, trying to comfort the boy.

"It's alright Peter." He said, though his voice was weak and sore, Steve still managed to sound calm and collected.

"I- it hurts Papa." That's when the tears started spilling, every move Peter made felt like he was being stabbed over and over.

"I know little love, I'm so sorry." Peter squeezed the hem of his father's shirt, he was in crippling pain and he wished it would stop.

The guards came by and gave food to Steve and Peter, which consisted of stale bread and water. Steve would sacrifice his health to make sure Peter could keep the food down.

The suffering of his child had to stop and if it resulted in his death then so be it. He'd rather save his son and die than watch as HYDRA killed him. But the escape would need a lot of planning before its execution.

So how would they escape? Steve would need to do a lot of sneaking around, he already knows the guards routine so all he has to do is plan accordingly to that. Maybe he could contact Tony and the others.

He wonders if they've been looking for them this entire time. They would wouldn't they? It's hard to think about it when your hope is slowly decimating, Steve refused to see his son be tortured any longer.

But it looked like the torture would have to continue in order for him to come up with a stable plan, as much as he hated seeing his little love in that horrific atmosphere it had to be done.
