Today Peter's class has a presentation for family day, Peter was so nervous to present his work, he and May worked on a bunch of research. He felt like he learned more about his parents when they were alive, Ned and MJ went before him and did great.

If only he had their confidence, but unfortunately he didn't, so that made his anxiety worsen. He double checked for the millionth time if he had everything prepared. As Ned sat down next to him his friend gave him a reassuring smile.

"You'll do great Pete, just pretend no one's here and you'll be fine." Ned said, patting his shoulder.

"Mr. Parker, your presentation please." Mrs. Wheeler said, Peter got up out of his seat and to the front of the class, setting up his presentation.

He sighed and took a deep breath, before speaking. "My presentation is about my parents, R- Richard and Mary Parker, my uncle Ben, and my aunt May. My mom and dad were  respected scientists, I guess that's where my love for s- science comes from. My uncle was a police officer, and my a- aunt was a nurse working at Manhattan General Hospital." He said.

"Isn't your entire family, y'know... dead?" Flash asked, in a rude and condescending tone. Mrs. Wheeler glanced at him and back at Peter. "Continue Peter." She said.

"I asked Mr. Stark if he knew my parents, and he said he met them at a scientific meeting. He said they were great people."

"Yeah right, Tony Stark would never talk much less hire, a pathetic orphan like Parker."

"Don't you get it? You're a waste of space, a burden, no one wants you here." Flash said, with his arms crossed. The class grew silent.

At that point, Peter was frozen, unable to stop Flash's taunts and torment. His eyes welled up with tears and he bolted out of the classroom door, he ran to the boy's bathroom and locked himself in a stall.

Ned took his phone out and ushered MJ to come with him, while Mrs. Wheeler dealt with Flash's repercussions. Ned asked around where Peter went and a student pointed to the bathroom. Ned dialed a phone number and held his device up to his ear.

Ned had called Tony, while MJ went into the boy's restroom, not caring about anything but helping Peter. Tony picked up his phone and answered, "Hello Ned, did Peter's phone die again?" He asked.

"No Mr. Stark, Peter's having a panic attack and has locked himself in the bathroom at school. You told me to call you whenever stuff like this has happened." Ned explained.

Tony wasted no time getting out of his seat in his lab, and going into one of his cars to drive to Peter's school. Meanwhile Ned could hear MJ trying to calm Peter down, but nothing was working. MJ has no clue how to help him. So she walked outside to Ned.

"Nothing's working, he's freaking out. Where's Mr. Stark?" She asked.

"He's on his way, he should be here in a few minutes." Ned replied.

MJ nodded and they waited seeing Tony walk down the hall looking frantic, he saw the teens and went to them. "He's in there." MJ said. Tony thanked them and walked into the bathroom, sitting next to the stall Peter was in.

"Pete, I'm here and I want to help. But you gotta open the door, and tell me what happened Bambi?" Tony said.

Peter took his shaking hands and unlocked the door, Tony saw his face and his heart broke for the boy. He looked absolutely distraught and had been crying since fleeting to the restroom. He was breathing heavily, Tony knew if he touched Peter it'd make everything worse.

So he decided to just talk to him, he hoped that would work. "Alright Peter, can you talk to me? I just want to know what's wrong. And when I know what's up, I'll help in any way I can." Tony spoke in a soft tone.

"Take deep breaths kiddo." Peter tried, and took a few deep breaths before speaking in a shaky tone. "I- I had a presentation, to do in m- my class about family d- day, and this kid F- Flash he started saying stuff about m- my mom and dad. He said I was a p- pathetic orphan, who didn't r- really knows you." Peter explained.

Tony was speechless, why did this jerk of a kid say that stuff about his kid? It made his blood boil, Peter didn't deserve the crap that was happening to him. This kid has given his heart to those who need his help, and this is the treatment he gets?

"I- I'm sorry dad, I'm just a pathetic waste of s- space, I'm a burden, I'm nothing." Peter whimpered, Tony looked at him and pulled him into a hug, Peter began to cry again.

"You listen here, and you listen good. You aren't pathetic, or a waste of space, or a burden. You mean the world to me, for god sakes you're practically my kid."

"And no matter what, you will always be enough for me. Because you Peter Parker, are my kid, and screw anyone who says any less." Tony said, stroking Peter's cheek.

"I love you y'know that right?" Tony asked, Peter nodded his head.

"I love you too, Dad." Peter replied.

Tony and Peter walked out of the bathroom, meeting Ned and MJ, Tony told Peter to stay with his friends as he walked down the hallway, turning to a classroom. He opened the door and and entered the room.

Everyone was in shock, "Which one of you is Flash?" He asked, kids pointed to Flash and Tony walked up to him.

"Listen up you jerk of a kid, if I ever hear you talking badly about Peter Parker to his face or behind his back, I will get the best lawyers money can buy and sue you and your parents. Don't look in my kid's direction, and if you do I'll make sure no college takes you in." Tony said, glaring at Flash.

Flash looked like he was about to pee his pants, Tony turned on his heels, and began walking out of the classroom and back to Peter. He took the kid and they left the school, going back to the tower and having a Harry Potter movie marathon, while eating ice cream.
