Yoongi entered the mansion. It was bigger than Hoseok's house. The room was well lit, huge glass chandeliers covered the ceiling. The room was air-conditioned. This made goosebumps appear on his skin. Like every mansion, this one also had a grand staircase. Windows were fitted on the outer walls. There was a small balcony fit between the windows. It gave the mansion a very elegant look.

People swarm all over the place. Some were dancing to the slow melodious songs, while some stood in groups talking. A few people devoured the delicious food provided. His stomach growled seeing all the food.

"Let's split up." Namjoon suggested reading the room. Everyone agreed. "Me and Yoongi, Jungkook, Taehyung and Jimin and Hoseok and Zia."

All of them split up in the groups assigned by Namjoon and went in different directions.

"Let's search on top of the stairs." Yoongi said, and the two of them walked up the steps of the grand staircase. From the top of the staircase, a velvet carpet rolled down and stopped at the last step. People leaned over the polished handles, talking politely. He ignored them and continued climbing.

When they reached the top, he saw a corridor; it opened into a hall at one end and led to many rooms at the other. All the rooms were closed in contrast to the hall, which was bursting with life and energy.

Namjoon and Yoongi silently agreed to leave the rooms alone and went into the hall. Yoongi kept a close eye on his necklace. It could start blinking any time.

"This place is huge." Yoongi commented.

"Let's go in a little further." Namjoon said, fixing his bowtie.

Yoongi took a glass of wine from a passing server and gulped it down. He was having a bad feeling. The earlier they found the Phenomenal the better.

Unlike the hall downstairs, no one was dancing here yet, slow songs were being played.

Yoongi started walking around the hall. He walked near people to see if his necklace blinked.

"Yoongi, where are you going?" Namjoon asked, when he realised Yoongi wasn't beside him.

"Trying to find the Phenomenal." he whispered. Yoongi looked around. No one was paying them any attention. They blended perfectly.

"Stop walking around in circles. You'll attract attention." said Namjoon. Yoongi didn't realise he had been walking in circles all this time, and he halted.

"There are so many people. Why can't this Phenomenal just show up and we'll be on our way." Yoongi muttered in frustration.

Why couldn't they find one like they found Taehyung? It would be so easy. Half of their job would be done. All that was left was going to Eroth and kicking the monster's ass and restoring peace. It wouldn't be hard if things went according to their plan.

Suddenly, a window beside Namjoon shattered. Both the boys ducked and moved away from it. A piece of glass had scratched Namjoon's face and a streak of blood fell down the side of his face.

Luckily, people scurried away from the window when the glass shattered. Everyone ran to the opposite side of the room, making sure they didn't get hurt, but Namjoon and Yoongi didn't move at all.

Yoongi looked out of the window and saw a well-maintained lawn below him. He squinted his eyes to see properly. He could see a dark figure at the edges of the lawn and saw a flash of white, but it disappeared quickly. It had to be a monster smiling at him.

"Yoongi look at this." Namjoon whispered to him urgently, clutching his arm. Yoongi diverted his attention to the former. Namjoon showed him a chit.

I KNOW WHERE THE ONE YOU ARE LOOKING FOR IS. YOU WILL FAIL IF YOU DON'T COME TO BEHIND IN THE LAWN AT THIS INSTANT.

Yoongi stared at the chit and blinked. He understood what the chit meant.

He looked at Namjoon, who had his eyes on him. His eyes reflected a lot of emotions. Worry and determination covered his light eyes like clouds did over the pale blue sky.

Yoongi didn't know who the Phenomenal was, but the monster did. The monster wanted them down in the lawn or else it would kill the Phenomenal. All the sacrifices they made in the past few weeks would go to waste.

He thought of his adoptive parents. They had told him, when he turned 18, that they had adopted him. It was a shock for him, his world was collapsing.

Yoongi remembered leaving the house drowning in his own tears. He hadn't expected that. He didn't even want to believe them. After a while when he calmed down, he thought it through. They had been kind and loving to him his whole life. He couldn't give up on them. After all, they hadn't.

He dried his tears and went back home. His parents were waiting, worried. He hugged them hard telling them how much he loved and appreciated them in his life. He also apologised for his abrupt departure.

A week later, he dyed his hair mint green. He had desired to do something new in the past week. The colour complimented his pale complexion. He sent a picture of his new hair to his mom, who said she couldn't wait to see him.

He never saw them again. Their car crashed with a truck and both of them died immediately, because of the impact. Yoongi's world collapsed around him. Pain and grief was the only thing that remained when everything else crumbed around him.

His dad had taught him an important lesson. Never give up. Things might look hard, but they always give way to happiness in the end.

Yoongi had been chasing this happiness for a long time. When he met the other Phenomenals, he found a family. He felt good. He wasn't going to let a monster take away his happiness again.

At the same time, Yoongi and Namjoon moved out of the hall, to the monster's waiting claws. It was only one monster, they could take it. Namjoon didn't want to fail as much as him.

Yoongi stepped on the damp lawn. The monster was lurking in the shadows, flashing it's crooked teeth at him.

"The human in you is so weak." It commented.

"Feeling emotions isn't a sign of weakness." Namjoon argued. "Emotions give you motivation in the darkest of times. They stop you from being a monster."

"You're still stupid." The monster sneered with an air of superiority. "The one who could actually help you isn't even here."

Its tone made Yoongi suspicious. The monster was alone, no Phenomenal near it. He examined his surroundings. The more he tried to see something, the less he could see. Finally, his eyes caught a movement in the shadows. The monsters were really good at hiding in the shadows. They appeared out of nowhere.

"I have backup. What do you have? A bunch of teenagers? They wouldn't make it here in time. Three of them are busy finding the Phenomenal, and the other two are busy with their thing." The monster continued with the same superior tone.

"We have emotions which trigger our powers. Be careful, because," said Yoongi. "We will fight till our last breath. So either we die or you do." He finished shrugging.

"So be it then. Let's see how long you can last."

Namjoon and Yoongi readied themselves. He summoned lighting before charging at the monster.

Zia and Hoseok walked through the crowd. More people had gotten up to dance, making it impossible to walk across it.

"It's a nice song." Hoseok commented. "Do you want to dance?"

Zia stopped and turned around to face him. She could feel a heat rising on her cheeks. He was looking at her, waiting for her to answer. Zia opened her mouth but her words got stuck in her throat. Jung Hoseok was asking her to dance!

"Bu- but we have to find the Phenomenal." She stammered, finally finding her voice.

He took a step closer. Her heart beat faster than ever. "Just one dance." he pouted. Zia knew she wouldn't be able to say no to him.

"Ok." she replied in a small voice.

Hoseok smiled, he looked adorable. He took her hand in his and placed a hand on her waist and pulled her closer. Zia's heart almost burst when he pulled her closer. She placed her hand on his shoulder. Her heels made her tall enough to look into his eyes. They were brimming with happiness.

They slowly moved to the song. Zia eased over time and slowly gave in the melody of the song. Hoseok leaned his head, making her heart go haywire again.

"You're a good dancer." he softly whispered, his lips touching her ear. Zia could feel Hoseok's lips move as he spoke. She blushed profusely and looked at the ground. Hoseok saw her blushing and smirked.

"Not as good as you." she told the floor. Instead of answering, Hoseok twirled a strand of her hair in between his long fingers.

Zia knew Hoseok was trying to kill her with his actions. She tried taking deep breaths to get her heartbeats down, but Hoseok wasn't taking his eyes off her. Affection danced in his hazel eyes and they sparkled brightly under the lights, making them more appealing.

She could stare at his mesmerizing hazel orbs, till her heart stopped fluttering. It always fluttered around Hoseok. She had admired him for a long time.

Hoseok's fingers moved from her waist and creased her cheekbones. She could only stare back at him, but she didn't want him to stop.

"Let's go to the balcony." Hoseok said, gazing at her lips. He gripped her hand tightly and tugged her to the balcony.

He opened the balcony. It was empty. The moon shined brightly on the little balcony. The night sky was studded with stars, twinkling like they were whispering something.

She felt a hand slide under her chin and Hoseok tilted it upwards. He put the other arm around her, pulled her to his chest. A blush painted her cheeks again.

"Zia, why are you blushing?" Hoseok smiled, it lit up his entire face. "You look so cute."

Zia blushed harder. Her favorite idol was complimenting her. No, he wasn't an idol anymore, just a normal human. Yet the compliment had an impact on her. She put her head on Hoseok's shoulder.

She could feel him tense up when she rested her head on his shoulder. She removed her head and made eye contact with him again. He moved his hand from her chin and gripped her hand. They stayed there gazing in each other's eyes, unaware of what was happening below them.

Slowly, Hoseok leaned in. His lips brushed hers, before he placed them on hers. Zia's breath hitched. She couldn't believe what was happening. She could feel Hoseok's soft breath tickling her skin.

She closed her eyes and kissed him back. His lips were soft and tasted like champagne and something sweet. She wrapped a hand around his neck, pulling him closer. Deepening the kiss.

She was feeling a surge of emotion. Happiness, surprise and butterflies in her stomach were the most prominent ones. She closed her eyes, submerging herself in the emotions.

Suddenly she saw white light through her eyelids, and they shot open. It was lightning. She pulled away from Hoseok, panting slightly. She didn't hide her blush this time.

She peeked down the balcony; it was high to see anything clearly. She could make out two human figures fighting monsters. They were Yoongi and Namjoon, and they needed help.
