"I DON'T KNOW WHAT HURTS MORE, THAT I RAN FOR DECADES TO PROTECT YOU FROM JAMES AND LEFT YOU BY YOURSELF, THE LOVE OF MY LIFE, OR YOU NOT REMEMBERING OF I AM," Cordelia tells Alice as they take one last tour of the abandoned mental asylum, Alice frowns, she wishes she could remember every bit of memory she has of Cordelia and Mansion, but she was glad she has seen it all in Cordelia's point of view, it showed the brunette woman really cared for her.

"I'm glad I have someone in my human life, and I couldn't help but feel lucky that it was you," Alice tells her as she takes Cordelia's hand in hers.

It is true, Cordelia's memories have satisfied her longingness for her human life, yet, after all of that, she is thankful that Cordelia was the one who saw it all, it's a rarity that a vampire cares so much for a human, but Mary Alice Brandon is not just any human, she is and will always be Cordelia Anna Woodhouse's beloved.

Alice is joyous. For the first time in decades, she finally feels contented, no longer searching for the past but looking forward towards the future and living the present.

Then Cordelia wraps her arm around Alice's small waist, pulling the pixie towards her, placing a hand behind her neck, and pulling her in for a kiss.

A kiss so blissful, so euphoric that both of them didn't want to stop. To feel Alice's plump lips in hers, Cordelia Anna had been waiting for this very moment for decades, and all the running was all worth it, and she knew with her whole being that if ever the events of the pasts repeat itself, she will do it again.

"I love you, Alice. I have been in love with you for decades," Cordelia admits, and Alice smiles at her fondly as the pixie wraps both of her arms around Cordelia's neck and places a peck o her thin lips, "I love you more, and I will continue to love you. So, let's create more memories together and go shopping."

"I like that plan," Cordelia smiles at her, and Alice suddenly stood still, her eyes glazing. Cordelia places a hand on her arms as she guides Alice to sit.

Cordelia sees Alice's expression from joy to being horrified. Her plum lips part, a quiet gasp escaping between them.

"What is it, Alice?" Cordelia asks, concerned, and Alice looks at her and nods, signaling her to look in her memories, and she does.

She sees a brunette girl, a teenage girl, jumping off a cliff, not resurfacing above the water.

"Is that Bella? Cordelia queries, and Alice nods rapidly as she stands from her seat and says, "We need to go to Forks, just to make sure," Alice says, her voice breaking. She needs to make sure that her best friend, her brother's love of his life, isn't dead.

"Edward told you not to go to Forks, Alice," Cordelia tells her. Although Cordelia doesn't care what Edward says, if Alice wants to go to Forks, Cordelia will follow her. She just needs to remind the pixie of what she is getting herself into.

"I know, I know, I just need to make sure if she really is dead...then we'll go," Alice tells her, and Cordelia nods in understanding and says, "Well, let's go."

"IS THIS FORCIBLE ENTRY? HER FATHER IS THE CHIEF," Cordelia says as she follows Alice inside the Swan residence. In their run, Alice decided to stop by New Jersey, where Thalia, Carlisle, and Jasper are currently living.

With a short introduction, and a brief explanation of what happened to Bella, Carlisle let them borrow his car, a Mercedes S55 AMG.

"The chief loves me. He wouldn't mind. Let's just wait for Bella to come home," Alice tells her as the pixie settles herself on the sofa, shutting her eyes shut and rubbing her temple.

Alice called Rosalie earlier on why she is in Forks while the blonde woman is currently enjoying her vacation with Emmett and her loving wife.

A few hours later. Cordelia is feeling thirsty, really thirsty. It has been a week since she and Alice have hunted, and she never really thought of switching diets by herself without any help.

She knows she'll slip up, and she needs Alice's help to suddenly switching diets. Her eyes are as dark as the night sky.

Suddenly the front door opened, a sweet and tempting scent of a human suddenly bombarded her. Sucking in a breath, she cuts off her breathing, Alice places a firm grip on her thigh.

Alice stands up and walks towards the door. Then suddenly she is being hugged by a human, "Alice, oh Alice!"

"Bella," Alice asks with a strange mingling relief and confusion in her angelic voice. Cordelia is also shocked. She never really thinks that the human is alive after her careless act of jumping on a cliff, not resurfacing.

Cordelia clears out her throat. The human pulls away from Alice and looks at the strikingly beautiful woman in front of her, "Oh! This is Cordelia, my mate," Alice exclaims enthusiastically as she walks towards Cordelia, wrapping her arms around her small back, "Cordelia, this is Bella."

"All the pleasure of meeting me, I'm sure," Cordelia says, her voice tight, not really wanting to inhale Bella's scent accidentally.

And after Bella and Alice catch up on what really happened when she jumped, she is pulled out by a boy named Jacob Black. And how Victoria has been showing up, taunting the wolves, and how Laurent visited her and almost killed her if it wasn't for the pack of shape-shifters saving her. Oh, to Alice's disappointment that Bella has been hanging out with wolves.

Alice then decided to hunt with Cordelia. Of course, Bella pleaded with them to come back and stay in her house.

Charlie went home and welcomed them both in his humble residence with no problem at all. Charlie and Alice talked in the kitchen about Bella's status when they left.

Charlie left, arranging a funeral for Harry Clearwater, who died of a heart attack when they were hunting for the wolves, who are allegedly killing people.

It was all going well for now.
