The title fits the story and it attracts readers to the story. The cover is alright, I like the font and the colors. It isn't very appealing though and I feel it doesn't fit the story well. The gray color for the title is a little dark. The author name is also a little small. The blurb introduces the characters and the story very well. The blurb definitely makes readers want to read the story.

The plot of the story is clear and it's engaging. The plot is progressing at a good pace as well. The mystery in the story is intriguing and keeps the readers interested. The exposition introduces the main characters and the world very well. The world and the magic system are easy to understand.

The characters are introduced and described well. I am wondering why Elizabeth's name wasn't revealed right away though. The characters' personalities are also shown well in the chapters. The characters are also interesting and I'd like to learn more about them. Alexander is such a terrible person for agreeing to leave Elizabeth behind. Also for not trying to save her when the Duke tested his character.

🔪》Grammar/Spelling

There were a few errors, but nothing major. In chapter four, you have this sentence "A stranger she struggled to recognize...and yet she knew that the stunning woman before her was...me." It should end in "her" instead of "me." Using "me" sounds odd since the story is told in the third person.

The writing style was very well done! Descriptions and information were worked into the story well. The action scenes are also described well, I felt like I was there with the characters. Everything was easy to understand as well.

🔪》Enjoyment

The story was enjoyable and I would read on! I was drawn into the story and I couldn't believe I had read six chapters already. The book as a Beauty and the Beast vibe to it which I like. I'm interested in seeing where the story goes and uncovering the mysteries. The Duke and Elizabeth are interesting characters and I'd love to see where their story goes.
