LMAO BEST IDEA EVER TO ADD SIDE COMMENTARY FROM AURORA AND ASHER

"Will you quit that?" The boy next to me says. (This is why ur annoying - Asher) I roll my eyes at him and stick my tongue out. I continue clicking my pen, and he groaned. I see my teacher get up and immediately stopped clicking my pen.

"Okay class, we're done for the day. Pack up and don't forget your '5th grade Go Math!' Textbooks... Aurora." She glared at me. (AHAHA DAMN AURORA- Asher + Shut it - Rory)

"I'm not going to forget it this time. Don't worry." She nodded not believing me, so I rolled my eyes mocking her. 

The school speaker suddenly turns on, "We would like to congratulate the newly elected members of our 5th-grade student government." I listen carefully, making sure I don't miss anything, "the Secretary of Education, Aurora Kim; and finally the Director of Communications, Asher Lee. Congratulations and good luck on your future endeavors!" Everyone in my classroom starts clapping for me and I feel myself blush from the attention, I look down slightly embarassed and I open my iPad a find an invite to a google classroom. (Wowie we're so cool broooo - Asher + ikr - Rory)

"Hello, new members of student government! Please join the Zoom meeting at 3:30, link is shown below." I grin with excitement. Once I got home from school, I joined the Zoom call and we introduced ourselves.

"Hi, my name is Aurora Kim, I'm from class 5-318. A fun fact about me is that I do karate." I said proud of what I accomplished. 

A boy unmuted his microphone, "Wow, you do karate? How long have you been doing it."

"I've been doing it for 3-4 years now. I'm a green belt right now." I responded. (I now realize i shouldnt have made fun of u bc u beat my arse - Asher)

He's shocked but he then goes on to introduce himself, "My name is Asher Lee, from class 5-309. A fun fact about me is that I play basketball."

As the meeting goes on, we're put into a breakout room to get to know each other better. After that, the meeting came to a close and we said goodbye.

The next day I ran into Asher in the hallway and we chatted a bit, he was kind of funny and a nerdy kid who had an obsession with rubric cubes. He made random jokes, but they were at least, funny. Weird, but funny. (HEY - Asher)

Over the next few months, school dragged on and on... The "new" feeling wore off after December and clubs cause my life to be extremely busy. I was working back and forth from different classrooms, from drama club to student government. Asher and I grew to be good friends over time. (The good ol' times - Asher + You talk too much - Rory)

One day, in April, I was tasked to present a video to kindergarteners to first graders, and I also ended up covering another groups classrooms. Asher and I were forced to play a YouTube video of a song saying "thank you" to each classrooms and thank them for donating to our school. It was 2 hours of pure torture, and I just smiled through the pain of listening to a song on repeat. (Still haven't said thank you since - Asher)

After we wrapped up, Asher walked me to my class. We made constant jokes on the song, and as we parted, he said, "Now I hate the word thank you, thanks Student Gov. Bye." He walked to his class, and I didn't notice how much I was smiling until the end of the day. (I still remember this so well - Rory)

Hey loves!! How are you? Thanks for reading my first chapter of "When I Fell for You." It's based off of true events of a failed love that I heard about. As we get later on into the story, it won't all be true as some of it has not happened yet. I know the person in this story. It's a sad story as we go on. Some parts aren't fully true as I also don't know all the details but it's close enough. PS not their actual names
