Nakamoto-Akita
⚔︎ Leaders : Nakamoto Akane and Akita Riku
⚔︎ Second in Command : Fukutomi Haruna
⚔︎ Main Fields : Drug Dealing, Illegal Gambling Rings, and Mercenary
⚔︎ Though they're on the smaller side of crime families in Japan, they are one of the oldest and the most influential. They began back in the early 1900s with Akane and Riku's great-great-grandfather - Nakamoto Kosuke, who was an integral part of the upper class when he was alive. Since then, they have been active in Japan's political and underground scene extensively.
⚔︎ They primarily deal with drugs, illegal gambling rings, and mercenary business. They deal drugs mostly in bulk, and are the primary drug dealers for multiple gangs. They have heavily guarded drug gardens and facilities all over Japan, which is where they are able to get all those drugs from. They don't only deliver drugs to gangs, however, they also deliver controlled substances to hospitals as well which boosts their credibility ( and profits ). Their illegal gambling rings mostly consist of casinos and such, but once in a while they'll have some fighting rings as well. They host a to-the-death tournament in their fighting rings every year around each of their birthdays, which bring in many many profits and potential clients. Even though they don't deal with this as much, they also deal with hit man business. If anyone wants someone dead, they just have to pay enough and their job is done. They don't usually do it much, since often people are too scared to contact them directly, but they have their fair share of it.
⚔︎ When Nakamoto Kosuke died in 1940, his son, Nakamoto Kenji, inherited the gang. He was, for a lack of better words, a terrible leader. Their gang lost countless profits and members and clients, and wasn't putting in enough effort to fix his mistakes. In 1960, he was overthrown and his nephew, Nakamoto Yuta, took over and fixed what his uncle had broken. Still, he wasn't able to completely fix the profits. In 1991, he officially stepped down and gave the position to his son - Nakamoto Ryusuke. He finished fixing the damages done by his grandfather and he was predicted to be a leader for a long, long time but sadly he passed away in a car crash in 2018. Everyone was in chaos since he didn't have a legitimate son or a nephew, and eventually Nakamoto Akane had to step into the position and after lots of backlash she was able to get Akita Riku, her half-brother born from her father's affair, as a leader as well. They rebranded to the Nakamoto-Akitas and regained their place as the rulers of the crime families in Japan once again.
Torigā
⚔︎ Leader : Watanabe Mashiho
⚔︎ Second in Command : Uzumaki Rimuru
⚔︎ Main Fields : Gun Manufacturing, Mercenary, Human Trafficking
⚔︎ Unlike the Nakamoto-Akitas, they're not a family. They're a group of people and started out in the early 1900s as a group of friends that just wanted to mess around. However, they made a big scene at a presidential election, which caused heads to turn towards them. Eventually, they became one of the biggest gangs in Japan.
⚔︎ They mostly deal with mercenary business, since technically most of them are independent. They'll get money from a client, and just toss it into what they call the 'death pool', which contains details for all the people their clients want dead. They're extremely strict on getting paid, and if they don't pay they don't get their job done. They also produce a lot of guns, legal and illegal. Most of their guns they sell illegally to gangs - all completely unregistered; a significant portion is donated to the military; and the final portion is distributed amongst themselves and some for their closest allies. The last thing they do on a main scale is human trafficking. However the current leadership isn't aware of this at all, and it's just something the gang members keep under wraps. They kidnap people, mostly homeless women and children, and take them away with the promise of food and shelter just for some money. They don't keep any records of the people they sell, just how much money they earn.
⚔︎ Their leadership is one of the worst out here. Technically, there is a leader and a second in command, but no one really listens to them and the positions aren't permanent anyways. No matter how hard one of the leaders tries to stay a leader, the longest someone was able to do it was for 3 years before he was mysteriously killed in his sleep. Almost every year they change leaders because they can't agree on how things are run, sometimes it's even twice a year. Their allyship with the Nakamoto-Akitas remains as strong as ever though. One of the high-ranking members, Akita Suhye, is Riku's mom and Akane's godmother. She's the one that keeps them in check and makes sure that they don't turn against her son's family. She's never actively looked to be the leader, since she knows what happens to them if they do.
