All heads were immediately turned towards the leaders, each sitting on a rock, tail wrapped around their front legs. Agile Star was between a brown tom and a golden female, while a black male was sitting right next to this last.
Butterflypaw turned her attention to the leaders, of course she knew perfectly well who her leader was, and she also knew which clan the other three led. Only what she didn't know was their names.

“Can you tell me their names?” She whispered in Fireflypaw's ear.

“What?” Said this one, focusing her gaze on that of the other apprentice.

“The names of the other leaders there,” Butterflypaw meowed a little hesitantly. Like for example, what's your leader's name, she's the one with the golden fur, right?

Fireflypaw finally seemed to have understood
«Oh I see,» she looked up at the leader that Butterflypaw had mentioned «it's Duskstar, an extraordinary leader! I would love to be like her one day-

“Fireflypaw, silence!” A tomcat behind reprimanded her, in a loud voice, which startled Butterflypaw and the NightClan apprentice.
“Sorry, Molestep” the latter immediately apologized.

She turned her attention to the leaders, immediately imitated by Butterflypaw. A brown tomcat was the first to speak
“He's Yellowstar,” whispered Fireflypaw, while Butterflypaw looked at the brown tomcat with a surprised look.
His name obviously has nothing to do with his appearance.

“Our clan now has a new deputy,” His gaze was darkened by sadness, «Sweetmist unfortunately died from a snake bite, and Flashtail is the new deputy”
“Congratulations,”Duskstar meowed to the pale ginger tom sitting alongside the other deputies.

“May you lead your clan well as the future leader of the Lightning Clan” added a black male,who was the leader of StreamClan

“May the Clan of Constellations guide your steps, and may Sweet Mist find a good hunting ground among the united stars,” said Agilestar

Butterflypaw noticed that Fireflypaw had raised her head towards the starry sky.
“I’m going to miss her so much,” she whispered as if to herself.

“But she's not from your clan, am I wrong?” Butterflypaw asked.

The golden-brown apprentice lowered her head
“She was so kind, always speaking in a peaceful voice, she always had the best ideas for the clans. She would have made a perfect leader!”

“Too perfect you mean,” Butterflypaw grumbled.

“You're saying this without even knowing her!” Fireflypaw spat

The BreezeClan apprentice immediately realized that she was right. She didn't know Sweetmist to judge her so easily, wanting to be forgiven, she whispered to Fireflypaw
“Was Sweetmist really a good cat?”

Fireflypaw only responded with a nod, she wanted to add something, but barely had time.

“BreezeClan has two new apprentices,” announced Agilestar, who had focused his gaze on his daughter, then on his son. Dustpaw follows the healing path, while Butterflypaw trains for fighting and hunting

“Dustpaw! Butterflypaw!” The warriors cheered

Butterflypaw stood up, tail held high. Dustpaw, however, had not moved. He seemed to be thinking of something else
“He doesn’t even want to admit the truth,” he whispered.

“Are you talking about the fact that we were made apprentices earlier than expected?” His sister told him in a low voice, afraid that the others could hear her. “You know it's none of the other clans' business”

“Yes,” he turned his gaze towards his mentor, then towards the sky, “if ConstellationClan ever disappeared , where would the dead go?”

“Huh, what are you talking about?” Butterflypaw said indignantly.

But Dustpaw didn't answer her.

“Whitelight has given birth to three robust kittens,” meowed DuskStar, their names are Owlkit, Goldenkit and Lunarkit

Cries of congratulations were heard throughout the gathering, Butterflypaw glanced at Fireflypaw, whose green eyes shone again, like stars. Obviously the mention of the three kittens had brought back her energy and happiness.
“They are so cute!” She exclaimed, holding Butterflypaw's gaze, "too bad I'm not a warrior, I would have loved to be their mentor, Owlkit for example?” She began to think, he is so shy and quiet

“The day will come when we will have an apprentice ourselves,” Ferretpaw meowed. “For now, we're the apprentices”

“Or maybe I could be Lunarkit's mentor,” Fireflypaw continued, ignoring her clanmate’s remark. Or Goldenkit's? I don’t know, I want them all!”

“As long as none of them end up like you,” Nightpaw joked. “You might lead them into disasters”

“Me ?
Fireflypaw pretended to be upset, turning her green gaze on Nightpaw's dark blue irises, “never in life!”

While she was talking about Whitelight kits, Duskstar waited calmly for the cries to stop, then the golden-furred leader turned her head towards the leader of  StreamClan.
“Pikestar, would you like to say a word?” she asked him.
The black tomcat nodded
"So his name is Pikestar"  said Butterflypaw thoughtfully. "The name is really not great"

“Flowerypaw recently received her warrior name,” Pikestar said, scanning the assembly in search of the latter, “Floweryheart.”

There were once again howls of congratulations, louder than when the announcement of the birth of Whitelight's kits was announced. Butterflypaw looked around for the warrior, but in vain, not seeing a single tuft of her fur.
Agilestar then jumped from his rock
“I suppose we have nothing else to say,” he said, looking up at the three other leaders, who shook their heads no.

“In this case, let's go find our camps,” then with a signal from the tail, invited his comrades to follow him in the opposite direction
Butterflypaw jumped to join them, Flameshine was at her side
“How was your first gathering?” She asked her kindly.

“Pretty good”

“Have you been able to chat with the other apprentices? It's always nice to meet new cats, I hope at least you didn't tell them too much personal information,” she added with a burning look in her eyes.

“I only chatted with three NightClan apprentices, it was Fireflypaw who asked me to go to them, so I accepted.”

Flameshine purred
“Ah Fireflypaw, that’s a real ball of energy, and who were the other two?”  she wanted to know

“Ferretpaw and Nightpaw”

The deputy's ears twitched at the mention of the blue-eyed apprentice.
“She’s really creepy!” Pursued Butterflypaw, who was jumping from rock to rock

"I might as well tell you that I have trouble trusting her myself" the deputy suddenly admitted, feeling uncomfortable  "but maybe I'm imagining things?"

"I would never go near her again! Her apprentice shudders"
