Jay: it's like you don't even want to be a ninja

Kai: I told you the only reason I became a ninja was to rescue my sister

Zane: if Kai doesn't learn to be a ninja our future will be destroyed☁︎

☁︎Cole: that was before Garmadon altered the past and changed the future. Now we got to clean up the mess

Zane: he's right, the only way to save our future is for Kai to find his fire

Cole: what are you trying to say Zane?

Zane: I'm saying we have to give Kai his motivation back, we have to kidnap Nya and deliver her into the hands of the Skeleton ☁︎

☁︎ P Wu: we'll get your sister back

P Kai: *his head was currently lowered*

P Wu: *looks at the present ninjas who were hiding at the rooftop still*

Kai: *takes off his mask as the others did the same and smiles*

Wu: *looks back infront of him* but first I want you to meet your team☁︎

☁︎Cole: all we gotta do to get everything back on track is to deliver Nya to the skeletons ☁︎

☁︎Jay: did we just-....um....

Kai: return to the future?

Cole: this feels familiar... But weren't we training Lloyd?

Zane: the future was altered and there is no green ninja.....☁︎

☁︎Kai: *chuckles* I think some things are best left in the past, come on, let's just prepare for the future

The Ninjas would start laughing again except Lloyd

Lloyd: I don't get it- ☁︎

☁︎???: Remember Lloyd.....

Lloyd: I-i don't understand....what do you mean...?

???: Remember.....☁︎

☁︎Lloyd: *Jolts up sweating and panting heavily as he looks around only to find himself still at his and the others bedroom* ....... *Lowers his head*

Chapter 5:

(Author: I'm too lazy to put Garmadon's perspective in this chapter so I'll just direct it to the ninjas pov 😅 but here's the actual episode just incase you wanna see it for yourself)

(Author: anyways onto the story! ^^)

Lloyd: ..... *Shakes his head* it was probably just a dream....yeah, nothing to worry about Lloyd *he looks at the other ninjas that were still asleep ..... he just shrugs it off and goes back to sleep*

The next day

The alarm would go off

Cole: *grunts and was about to get up but ends up hitting the top of the bed since he's sleeping on the lower bunk* gah!

Jay: ergh.... *Turns to sleep on the other side but ends up falling on the floor* ah!

Kai: *groans and picks up a rock that just popped out of nowhere and throws it at the alarm clock with his eyes closed as he was still laying in bed which only made it worse as when the rock hit the alarm clock it caused the alarm clock to land on that sound amplifier thingy that I forgot the name which makes it louder causing everyone except Zane to wake up as they sat up covering their ears*

Zane: *still asleep*

Lloyd: *groans from the loud noise and uses his powers to make it stop*

Kai: is it wednesday already....?

Jay: sunrise excercise....? *He gets up from the floor while rubbing his head from the impact as he was still tired* I hate sunrise excercise....

The door opens revealing Master Wu drinking tea as he faces the ninjas

Wu: goodmorning, morning, morning, up, up, it's a new day students!

The Ninjas would get up (Author: including Zane) and walks towards Master Wu as they come to a stop infront of Wu

Wu: before we begin sunrise excercise *opens the curtains* I noticed.... The dragon made another... mess outside.... *Walks towards the door* It looks like.... A two-person job *leaves and closes the door*

C,Z,K,J: uhhh what was that sensai?

They started blabbing excuses to not do the job as Lloyd just looks at them

Jay: Lloyd! I'm sure you got this ^^

Kai, Jay, Cole & Jay were about to leave the cabin when-

Lloyd: *groans* you might have been able to dump chores on me when I was smaller, but I'm grown up now that's not fair!

The 4 stop and turn to Lloyd

Kai: *sighs* you're right Lloyd.... We need to settle this like men...with a round of rock paper clip! 😆 (Author: basically Rock paper scissors -v-""")

Kai: okay, on one, two, three!

Jay: haha! Paper beats rock!

Lloyd: ugh.... How does paper beat rock-?

On top of a rooftop

(Cyclone: on top of the world! 🎶

Flora: where I can see everything before me! 🎶 (✿^▽^)

Thorn: searching for my wings to fly 🎶 (≧▽≦)

Solar: *bruh face*

Me: *just chuckles* awesome 👍)

Lloyd: *mumbles* why do I always have to do the dirty work....

Cole: hey, having a pet dragon requires alot of responsibility.

Jay: didn't your Mom ever let you have a pet?

Lloyd: *sighs* I don't remember my Mother.... She abandoned me when I was really young...

Kai: she just....left..? Approaches Lloyd* Who took care of you?

Lloyd: I spent my whole life at darkness boarding school

Kai: *stops infront of Lloyd as he felt bad for him*

The moment gets interrupted as the alarm would go off

Nya: hey!

The ninjas turn their heads towards Nya who they saw is sliding down the anchor

Nya: I have a mission for you guys. *lands on the roof and rushes towards the ninjas* it's the museum of History! They've asked for you guys, something strange has happened....

Kai: what???

Nya: you're gonna have to see it to believe it.

Lloyd: *stops infront of Nya* here Nya *gives her the tools and sac he used just now*

The ninjas would rush back on the Destiny's bounty as Lloyd was about to follow them when Nya Suddenly speaks up*

Nya: wait!! What am I supposed to do with these???

The dragon would let out a quite roar

Nya: *looks at the dragon and looks back at the things she was holding that Lloyd gave* oh.... *Looks the other way disgusted*

Meanwhile at the museum

The ninjas have arrived as they get off the destinys bounty and rush inside. Once they got in, they were greeted by the owner of the museum

Man: oh thank goodness you're here!

The Ninjas and Master Wu would come to a hault as Wu begins to speak

Wu: we heard there was an emergency.

Man: Yes, come, come! Quickly this way. *He says in a worried tone as he leads them to the Stone Warrior exhibit, opening the door of the halls as walks forward leading the ninjas to the said exhibit* the stone warrior exhibit opens to the public tonight and this couldn't have Come at a worse time.

Kai: uh, what couldn't have come at a worse time?

Man: Ninjago City appreciates your help in destroying the great devourer some time back.

They come across two workers who are at the moment, trying to clean a puddle of what looks to be a green glowing liquid unknown substance

Man: but it appears it's toxic venom has seeped into the city's sewer system and has had the most unusual after effects. *Talking about the green liquid paddle now identified as toxic venom*

K, J, Ll: *grossed out by the smell as they used their hands to cover their nose from the stink*

Man: *opens the door of the Exhibit*

As the Man opened the door, they were greeted by a bunch of stone army figurines which came to life as their eyes glow a neon green color

Man: the toxicity of the venom
somehow has brought our souvenirs to life! I just didn't know who else to call!

One of the mini figurines would hop on Zane's hand as Zane tries to examine it only for the said souvenir to smack him with it's tiny weapon which annoyed Zane and breaks it as it falls to the floor unalive

Jay: we've got this covered *he says as he and the rest of the ninjas would get in* I think we can handle a few toys.

Man: *gets out of the room as he held the door* and please, contain the fighting to the gift shop? The doors to the new exhibit will be opening soon thank you. *shuts the door*

Once the door was closed, one of the figurines which was located on top of a shelf, would jump off and try to attack Jay only for Jay to completely destroy it with his nunchucks

Some of the figurines would then begin to charge at Lloyd with one that was located at another shelf would drop another souvenir but one that didn't move (Author: it's a small one don't worry) , dropping it on Lloyd only for the said ninja to grunt from the hit as he slips on his bum but was able to get up.

The figurines that tried to charge at him would charge again only for Lloyd to destroy them

Another figurine that was on another, another shelf would tip a jar full of marbles making the said marbles to fall on the floor where Cole and Kai are as they try to charge at the Figurine only to fall on their backs

C, K: *groans from the pain*

Figurines: *laughs*

Ninjas: *groups together once again*

Kai: *annoyed* all right, play time's over. *Does spinjitzu as he charges at the figurines*

J, C, Z: ninja go! *does the same as Kai*

Unfortunately, as they did spinjitzu, they ended up breaking some of the merchandise in the room as they then come to a halt*

Zane: uh.... Whoops....

One of the figurines would open the door and gets out, this didn't go unnoticed by Wu as he quickly chased after the runaway figurine

Wu: come here you little

Figurine: *laughs evilly only to get stomped by Wu*

Suddenly, he heard footsteps from behind him, as he then looks behind him only to see a familiar face

???: *Steps out from a room near Wu as she begins to walk to a different direction Wu is currently standing only for her to face Wu*

Wu: *eyes widen* Misako....?

The lady now identified as Misako would stare at Wu

Misako: oh. ^^

Wu: ......

Misako: it's been a long time....

Wu: *stays silent*

The ninjas arrive as Jay clears his throat

Jay: so.... Are you gonna introduce us?

Wu: *snaps out of it as he clears his throat* yes uh.... *Walks forward and is now beside Misako* this is Misako....

Lloyd's Mother....

Ninjas-Lloyd: *eyes widen as they turn towards Lloyd*

Lloyd: my.... My mother....?

Misako: *smiles warmly seeing her son after a long time as she approaches him* Lloyd my little boy..... You're so much bigger than I remember..... *Tries to place her hand on his shoulder*

Lloyd: *looks the other way* yeah well *avoids* it's been a long time.

Misako: I didn't want us to meet like this *she smiles only for it to fade into a frown* I have a reason why I've been away-

Lloyd: *irritated* well I don't wanna hear it! *Turns and walks away*

Misako: Lloyd wait please-

Lloyd: *shuts the door*

Misako: ...... *Lowers her head*

Meanwhile with Garmadon

(Solar: finally you include his pov ->-

Me: well I can't just leave them hanging and not understand what the plot is by leaving him out now can I? *Pouts*

Solar: ->-"""

Scar: anyways.... Back to the story -v-''''''")

The Serpentine & Garmadon himself, are currently in what seems to be a helicopter that looks like a snake as they fly above the ocean in search of an Island

Garmadon: *using a telescope* it's just sea.... I don't get it!

Scales: it'sss because there is no land outside of Ninjago!

(Rev: I would show you what Scar looks like but unfortunately the image button is glitching for her- so the pic won't load in- -.-""")

Scales: we've been searching all day...

Garmadon: the Island must be out there. We'll do another lap *he says as he turns to give orders to the serpentine driving the helicopter*

Seeing Garmadon preoccupied, he takes this opportunity to discuss the situation to the other leaders of different serpentine tribes

Scales: he's without his mega weapon... He's vulnerable to us.... *Hiss*

Leader 1: so how do you recommend getting rid of him?

Garmadon: turn around, we need to find the island today! *He speaks to the one driving the copter*

Serpentine: *turns the copter around*

Scales: oh! There! Is that the island?

Garmadon: where?! *Uses the telescope to try and spot it*

Scales: *grins and pushes Garmadon off the copter using his staff which caused Garmadon to fall into the sea*

Leader 1: it's about time we have a serpentine back in charge.... All hail Scales.... *Hiss*

The 3 different tribe leaders would bow

L2 & L3: all hail Scales! Leader of the serpentine!

Scales: *evil laughs*

Back with the Ninjas

Misako opens the door to the location of the museum where Lloyd went as the others follow behind

Misako: Lloyd? Lloyd...? *She tells as she tries to look for him which she eventually spots inside a different room connected to the one they are in right now*

Lloyd: *Sitting at the edge of the endless hole which was sealed off due to the possibility of falling*

Misako: I'd watch your step... That sinkhole doesn't have a bottom son.... *She says as she approached Lloyd* it's where I found the ancient stone warrior....

Lloyd: uh, son? You've been gone my whole life! There's nothing you can say.... *He says, hurt from the fact his own Mom decided to show up now when she hasn't back then*

Misako: well I'm going to talk anyway.... You want to know what I've been doing all this time? Long before Sensei Wu ever knew who would be the green ninja....*she says as she walks around the sinkhole to be able to see Lloyd's face as she talks once more* I knew it would be you and I knew you would eventually have to fight your father.

Lloyd: *looks away*

Misako: *countinues walking* I dropped you off at the boarding school so I could go learn everything I could about the prophecy in hope of one day preventing the final battle of good and evil..... *Stops at the other side and faces Lloyd*

Misako: all this time son.... I've been trying to save you....

Lloyd: *looks at Misako*

Misako: and your father. Long before time had a name....

The ninjas including Wu would arrive

Misako: Ninjago was created by the first spinjitzu Master-

Lloyd: yeah, yeah we've heard the story 100 times.

Misako: but you've only heard the half of it..... *Faces the banners infront of her*

She then begins to tell the story

Light would form

Misako: "In Ninjago there has always been balance between good and evil

The light turns to a dragon

(Me: note this is just an illustration for you readers bythaway, since I might end up maxing up the images in this story if I added lots of GIFs to explain what they're talking about QvQ and Misako is telling the story)

Misako: "So you know about how the first spinjitzu Master created Ninjago"

The light bulb would shift to the said Master as he would jump up high

Misako: "but what if I were to tell you..."

The illustration shifts to trees growing

Misako: "in order for there to be light there must be shadow....."

A crack opens as a shadow like figure grins

Misako: " and within shadow.
emerged from inside.... There is darkness.... The blackest that existed from the very beginning"

The said shadow Comes out

Misako: "an evil spirit called the overlord...."

Zane: did you know about this Sensei?

Wu: I had hoped if I'd kept the secret.... *Looks at the banners aswell* that name would never be spoken again....

Back to the Illustration

Misako: "the balance was at stake..."

"So the first Spinjitzu Master along with the help of two other Heroes-"

Jay: two other heroes??

Misako: indeed....

Cole: did you also know about this Master Wu?

Wu: *nods* not much is known about the identities of the two warriors who fought along side that day.... But legends say that they were the first ones to receive elements and became the first elemental masters.....

Jay: wait seriously?!

Misako: *nods*

The master,the two warriors and the spirit would face it's other as they get ready to battle

Misako: "and their battle could have gone on for eternity...."

"Each side powerful neither could conquer the other... Until the overlord Created his indestructable warriors..."

"The stone army....."

"The spinjitzu master did what he could but he knew they would soon be defeated...."

The master would strike his sword to the ground creating a crack as the two mystery heroes would use their own powers to push the army to one side of the land

"So instead of losing the war.... He and the two warriors divided Ninjago in two...."

An image of Ninjago would split in half like a yin and yang symbol*

Misako: good for us since then there has been no trace of the overlord or his stone army...... *She smiles once more only for it to fade again* until my recent discovery.....

Kai: so that's why the battle has yet to be decided..... *Looks at Wu* it was never finished.....

Cole: but where is this dark island? I've never heard of it.

Misako: disappeared I presume.... But the legend states that so long as the balance between good and evil remains even. The overlord shall remain trapped from this world..... I have always feared your father's ambition would ultimately lead to a shift in the balance. That is why he must be stopped.

Wu: we have each felt the power of the first spinjitzu master and those who fought along side him, passed on to us in the form of the elemental weapons. But now.... That power has been inherited by the green ninja. *Turns to Lloyd* which is why only Lloyd can defeat the ultimate evil....

Or else all of Ninjago will fall prey to its darkness...

Lloyd: *lowers his head*

Misako: leaving you was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. But faced with saving you and the world..... I had no other choice.....

Lloyd: ..... *Nods understanding*

Meanwhile at the Stone warrior exhibit

Lots of parents along with their kids gathered to see the statue as the Man from before clears his throat and speaks

Man: and now, ladies and gentlemen I present to you this museum's greatest find! It outdates every other piece we have here.... Found right underneath this very building *walks towards the statue that is covered with a red fabric, concealing what's underneath as he grabbed a hold of the said fabric* I give you.... *Pulls the fabric revealing what's underneath* an ancient stone samurai warrior.

The parents aswell as the kids would awe at it's glory as some began to take pictures of it

But little did they know.... Something was about to happen.... At the same location, ok top of the roof the same toxic venom would drop down the giant stone samurai warrior bringing it back to life

SW: *lets out a loud roar*

Parent 1: it's Alive!!!

Man: impossible! ^^" it just looks like it's alive- *gets grabbed by the Samurai, lifted into the air then thrown into a pillar sliding down as he groans from the pain and eventually gets up running away following the crowd who were also running away*

SW: *about to chase after them when suddenly he heard a voice in a room not too far from where he's standing*

Lloyd's Voice: have you discovered a way to prevent me from facing my father?

Samurai: *turns towards the sound*

Meanwhile back with the ninjas

Misako: I'm sorry... Not yet.... But I have a reason to believe there's still hope.

Suddenly the group gets alarmed by a sound coming from the door only for it to break and reveal it was the Stone Samurai

Samurai: *roars*

Jay: woah!! Excuse me!! Would somebody please tell me, what the heck is that!?!?!

Misako: *now behind Lloyd and this time doesn't get pushed away from him* the stone warrior...

Zane: the devourer's venom has awakened him!!!

Cole: oh great! *Looks at Kai* Kai take care of him!

Kai: u-uh.... Me...?

Samurai: *raises his sword ready for battle*

Kai: *got serious and pulls his mask down and draws his sword from behind him* okay block head... Take this.... *Charges at him and is about to attack with his sword when suddenly-*

Samurai: *breaks Kai's sword into pieces using his own causing him to fall on his butt as he stares at his broken sword*

Kai: wow, in my mind's eye I saw that playing out entirely different- *his leg gets grabbed by the Samurai as he gets lifted up in the air* what the?!

Misako: *is now infront of Lloyd as he speaks to Kai* the overlord created his stone army from an indestructable material only found on the dark island.

Kai: ah great.... You could have mentioned that soo-

Samurai: *yeets Kai to where a vase was located*

Kai: *lands on the vase as it breaks, he then sits up a little dizzy* sooner....

Wu: Lloyd, use your powers!

Lloyd: *nods as he closes his eyes, concentrating as he activates his powers forming a green energy ball and shoots it at the Samurai*

The attack hits the Samurai as the ninjas + Misako would cheer only to see the Samurai is still standing causing them to back up

Cole: wait a minute, how are we supposed to destroy this thing?!

Misaki: you can't....

Samurai: *tries to break into the room and succeeds*

Jay, Cole, Zane & Kai would see this as they then bring their own weapons out and attacked it, only for the Samurai to easily best each one of them

Jay: *grunts as he gets tossed and lands on the floor, but before he could get up, infront of him was the Samurai about to step on him with its giant foot which Jay was able to react on time and dodges it now back on his feet* eheheheh.... Easy big guy....maybe this is a sign you need to loose a few pounds ehehehee...

Samurai: *punches Jay sending him flying*

Jay: *lands on the floor as he starts sliding and was headed to the endless pit and was about to fall when-*

Wu: *was able to save him on time as he took his hand stopping him from going any further*

Jay: close call.... *Gets up*

Zane: *jumps and attacks the Samurai Nad was about to kick him in the face only for him to deal no damage once he came in contact and falls to the ground with a grunt*

Samurai: *roars*

The ninjas + Misako gets yeeted across another room as they came crashing down, some on the floor and some on the wall

Misako: *grunts as she rubbed her head from the impact*

Zane: *lends his hand to Misako to help her back up*

Cole: *grunts as he sits up a little dizzy* this is gonna be much harder than a bunch of bobble head fellas....

Jay: yeah, well it's a good thing we're in a museum.... *He says as he stands infront of the door*

Misako: why is that?

Samurai: *arrives and roars*

Jay: cause we're all about to become history!!
