Not much is known about Cinder's personality, except she's known for being a dragon with split personalities.
She can be a the kind-hearted and caring headmistress that everyone knows, but the other half is a sadistic heartless Animus. Sadly she cannot remember what the Animus side of her does nor can the Animus side see or know what her kind-hearted does.

Her kind-hearted side has no idea she is an Animus, and even if she wanted to she cannot use her animus powers while being on her kind-hearted side. The animus side of her can just switch over at almost anytime, while Cinder isn't aware. When her animus side comes out, then her kind-hearted side goes unconscious likewise for her animus side.

Her Animus side hasn't come out since before Astronomical had been born, and the possibility of the Animus side coming out is very unlikely.
The cause on what causes her Animus side to reck havoc is unknown. The reason why the Animus side goes unconscious is also unknown.

Her normal side is almost the opposite being very talkative and friendly.
She hates seeing blood, and is personally a pacifist while her Animus side is an antagonist.
She's quite ashamed of her Animus side and she absolutely hates when she others getting scared of her because of her Animus side.
