The latter wasn't ready for it. Jungkook doesn't know what will he do now. He can't neglect Jimin, but he also can't get into Jimin's car.

When he came to the restaurant, he was with Jin but now Jin just ditched him and he has to go with Jimin.

"Hop in"

Jimin claimed as he parked his car and waited for Jungkook to get in. The younger actor slowly slipped in the car with a nod.

Jimin was completely fine with giving Jungkook a ride and was pretty balanced with his thoughts too. His negative vibes were a bit shaken after Jungkook joined him for the meal.

But still, Jimin's not gonna admit that he was impressed with Jungkook's politeness over small matters.

"Where's your place?"

Jimin asked starting the car and Jungkook pulled the seat belt on.

"-XX-----XXX---XXX--" (imagine he said something)

"Never knew you lived so close"

Jimin muttered under his breath with a friendly smile dangling on his lips.

"It's nice"

It was unintentional but Jungkook just mumbled out his thought to which Jimin just hummed.

Jungkook has never seen someone smile so bright, at least towards him. Everything seemed fake to him but even if Jimin wasn't sending him those signals, he still felt giddy.

This is some shit he's into but either way he just feels good with Jimin. Doesn't matter if it's his sassy side or soft side, Jungkook just likes to sit staring at him.

The silence in the car was quite comfortable for Jimin as well as for Jungkook. They sat as the audio system of Jimin's car started buzzing with songs.

Jungkook felt fuzzy with his emotions when a certain tone of a female's voice entered his ear.

Jimin played, 'lip&hip'.

Since It was Hyuna's song, Jungkook could recognize her song from the beginning. Hyuna was one of his close friends among the idol friends he had.

Jungkook would never prefer this song for a ride actually and that too with someone you like in the evening 8.

He grew quite impatient as he tapped his foot. His eyes traveled from here and there, as he tried focusing yet his eyes at the end of the day laid on Jimin's face.

After a minute or two, the song ended and Jungkook sighed intensely, Jimin seemed to notice that.

"Are you uncomfortable or some?"

He asked taking a turn.

Jungkook shook his head but even if the ac was turned on, beads of sweat rolled down his forehead. He slowly took out a Fogle and wiped that but the piece of silk didn't help.

"Where do you live, Jimin-ssi?"

A real lame question from Jungkook since he didn't know how to start the conversation, but still, he did try.

"Oh... Just a few blocks away from yours actually"

He answered with genuine interest but right now Jungkook was having problems whether Jimin was non-verbally cursing on him or not.

"You live blocks away from mine? Like in the twin building?"

Jungkook stated with curious eyes as he looked at Jimin and the latter nodded.

"Yeah- My Uncle owns those two"

Jungkook was not so much in awe since he heard rumors about Park Jimin being born with a silver spoon and let's not go lying since he is a rich kid himself with his mother practically ruling the real estate business.

"Oh- We're here"

Jimin claimed as he slowly stopped the vehicle in front of the building.

Jungkook just thanked seven heavens as he reached where he was supposed to. He sighed just in front of Park Jimin, he noticed.

"Looks like you won a battle or some"

Jimin laughed looking at Jungkook who looked like fought a battle against himself. However, Jungkook just got embarrassed as he unbuckled the seat belt.

He stepped out of the car and closed the door behind and tinted glass window lowered for him, with Jimin looking at him.

"Thanks for having me with you today"

Jungkook thanked as he bent in a 90° and Jimin chuckled with his eyes almost disappearing.

"Thanks for hanging out with me. See you tomorrow"

With that Jungkook just nodded and Jimin went his way.

On his way home, Jimin just sighed the whole ride.

"That kid was tough to handle"

"Thank heavens, Jin Hyung was there"

With all these quotes, he entered home.

Quite the opposite when Jungkook entered his apartment.

"DAMN WHY WAS I SO NERVOUS??!!!"

He yelled at his top notes as he had a mini break down, falling on his knees as he looked down for a couple of few minutes and then crawled towards his bathroom.

Getting in the shower cabin, Jungkook huffed with annoyance.

"Why do I have to be so- argh! So useless"

Jungkook was just sulking on his own. But then again, the grinning face of the older actor came to his mind in a flash, and soon Jungkook was grinning nuts.

"It's so absurd"

The words may be harsh but Jungkook was surely smiling as he said anything after that.
