{third POV}
Muichiro sat quietly in Tanjiro's room, observing the sleeping boy rather creepily. His mind ran wild with thoughts he likely shouldn't be having, however the pillar decided to yank at his hair to distract himself from fantasising too much.

He sighed looking out the window, observing the clouds; trying to remember their names. He was so engrossed in his cloud watching that he hadn't noticed Tanjiro's eye lids flutter open, looking at his surroundings "Muichiro-san?" Tanjiro questioned slightly worried about why he was just sitting in the corner of his room. Not to mention strange..

"Ah Tanjiro..." the pillar pushed himself off the floor and made his way to the still sleepy Tanjiro, who was only half awake.

Muichiro saw his sleepy like state as an opportunity to make a move on the little sunshine. Tanjiro rubbed his eyes with a palm, letting out a small, cat like yawn in the process.

Muichiro sucked in a sharp breath as he sat on Tanjiro's legs, limiting his movement in his lower half.

Tanjiro was still half lidded and not fully aware of the situation as he stared confusedly at the mist pillar "who did that to you Tanjiro?" The black and green haired male questioned, gesturing to the ice pack on Tanjiro's head.

"just inosuke being inosuke" Tanjiro sleepily replied chuckling awkwardly, still not fully aware of the situation. The pillar hummed in acknowledgment and put two hands either side of Tanjiro's head.

Bending down the mist pillar gently planted a kiss on Tanjiro's button nose before walking out of the room as if nothing had happened - completely nonchalant.

By now the red head had just realised what happened and instantly flushed a deep red at the memory, cursing himself for being to out of it in the moment. But it was probably just muichiro being friendly? The boy always seemed to express his emotions in strange ways.

Tanjiro was just about to relax again when a small knock sounded at his door, frustrated with a lack of privacy and interruptions he groaned "YESS?!" Tanjiro yelled out "Dinner Tanjiro come to room **"

A familiar voice spoke out before walking away. Tanjiro slapped his cheeks and started walking towards the specific room he was told to go to.

Taking a right turn and going down the hallway, Tanjiro knocked on the door and almost immediately Rengoku opened the door with a big confident smile "my boy! come in come in" he orange headed male greeted pulling Tanjiro inside by his wrist "excuse my manners but why am I eating dinner here?" He asked politely, still a little overwhelmed from his encounter with the mist pillar.

"No need to be so formal! there's no particular reason, I just wanted you to!" The fire pillar chuckled deeply seating Tanjiro down opposite him where all the food was.

"Ok well thank you very much!" Tanjiro smiled brightly at the older male digging into the food with his chopsticks. Rengoku watched the sunshine devour the food quickly, enjoying watching his cheeks puff up with food. It was indeed very cute, Rengoku thought.

Tanjiro finished his meal swiftly, placing the chopsticks down while patting his belly dramatically "that was delicious! Thanks for inviting me over, I'll be going now-" "can you stay a little longer?" Rengoku questioned sadly, not wanting the cute boy to leave.

Tanjiro pondered he for a couple of seconds before shrugging his shoulders and agreeing.

"Sooo what do you wanna do?" Tanjiro asked like a bored child, earning a chuckle from the orange and red headed male "how abouttt THIS!" Rengoku suddenly tackled Tanjiro onto the mat tickling under his arms and chin.

Tanjiro let out hordes of forced laughter form the ticking, growing slightly red in the face as tears began to build up in his eyes. In all truth, Tanjiro looked very erotic.

Rengoku finally stopped when Tanjiro physically couldn't laugh anymore, leaving him absolutely exhausted "y-you knew i was ticklish!" Tanjiro wined falling onto Rengoku's mat panting "haha sorry..."

The flame pillar scratched the nape of his neck nervously; observing Tanjiro's flushed face, wet with tears.

Before he knew it the demon slayer had fallen asleep In Rengoku's room; rather tired out from the whole days events. His mouth was slightly parted in an 'o' shape, his hair was laying messily around his face.

Smiling to himself Rengoku gently brushed a couple of strands of hair away from his face and laid down next to the teen, wrapping his arms around his waist and pulling a blanket over them both.

They lay there snuggling for a while until a certain spiky black haired water pillar came and knocked on his door, knowing full well that Tanjiro was there. His motive to take the boy away from the confident red head.

Annoyed by the intrusion Rengoku was careful not to wake the slumbering boy while he silently opened the door to reveal Giyuu looking a little bit pissed "is Tanjiro here?" He questioned monotonously.

"I don't think so?" Rengoku smiled smugly, only angering Giyuu more.

The black headed male slightly bent down to peer behind Rengoku and caught sight of the sleeping Tanjiro "ill be taking him back to his room" the water pillar stated and pushed past Rengoku, softly picking up the peaceful boy and leaving without a word to the other male.

Giyuu held Tanjiro bridal style walking with him back to his own room; he wouldn't like to admit it but he was indeed quite possessive of his soon to be Tsukago.

Getting to his room, Giyuu gently placed Tanjiro on his mat and wrapped him warmly in the blankets. He let himself smile softly for the second time this day while bending down to kiss Tanjiro gently on the forehead, just next to his scar.

From that moment on every single one of the people in the butterfly mansion knew that everyone was after the little sunshine and was determined to gain his affection in any way possible. However some like Giyuu, inosuke and Zenitsu knew they had the upper hand already though.
