Burke and Cristina had made up and were surprisingly, talking to each other again, while Izzie and Bailey were about to open the Denny Duquette Memorial Clinic inside the Hospital today.

Brianna had just entered the Clinic, already dressed in her work clothes when she quickly realized how everyone was staring at Torres and George, who were holding hands.

The brunette crooked an eyebrow at the group, wondering what this could be about, "Uh- what's going on?" She slowly made her way past Izzie and Mark, before stopping right next to Alex.

George didn't even seem to realize that she had entered the room, "We're married!"

Everyone's faces seemed to be completely frozen and Brianna's mouth fell open the second those words left George's mouth. "What?"

Suddenly Alex chuckled amused before he glanced at Brie, "Dude, she's Callie O'Malley."

Cristina suppressed a laugh and Brie shot him an irretated look, "Seriously?"

Brie shifted her weight from one foot onto the other while the group of Interns and Attendings dissolved slowly.

A couple of minutes later, Mark and Dr. Webber had disappeared and only Bailey, the Interns and Callie remained inside the Clinic.

Brie was standing in-between Cristina and Meredith, watching the rather awkward interaction between Izzie and the newly wed couple.

The two were kissing and Izzie seemed a bit uncomfortable before Callie showed Izzie the ring excited.

"Oh, that's so great!" Izzie had a forced smile on her face, while she gazed at the ring, a smile mom her face. "Tiny diamonds are great because you know no one will ever try to steal it."

Cristina let out a shocked scoff while she smiled widely in amusement and Izzie's smile quickly dropped when she realized how that came out.

Suddenly Bailey shut the chart she had been reading through before she interrupted the conversation. "Okay that's it!"

She stepped into the middle of the room, "Yang, Burke needs you in cardio. O'Malley, the Chief has a surgical patient coming into the pit. Stevens, Karev, go find me some patients! I don't care where you get them, just get them."

She gave Callie and George an awkward glance, "Congratulations."

"Thank you."

Brie had wide eyes while she turned and went to stare at the closed, large wooden door, almost dying of boredom.

Almost two hours had passed when suddenly the doors flew open, revealing George, who dashed into the Clinic.

He didn't look good at all when he managed to call out loudly, "I'm shaking! I need to lay down!"

Izzie walked after him as fast as she could, "No- George- do you know how much it costs to have these linens laundered?" But it didn't help her because George had already laid down on them.

"I'm sick. Shaking and sweaty. My mouth is dry. My body aches", George stated while he laid face down onto the bed.

Izzie exhaled, "Fine."

"Uh, Taylor, replace O'Malley in the O.R.", Dr. Bailey instructed the brunette woman, who immediately jumped up in joy.

"Yes!"

She then quickly hurried out of the Clinic and down towards the O.R's. The brunette didn't waste any time while scrubbing in and when she entered the O.R. Dr. Webber greeted her with an confused look on her face. "Taylor? Where the hell is O'Malley?"

The brunette shrugged at him, "He wasn't feeling well. Came into the Clinic, shaking and everything."

Webber glanced up at her, his brows raised, "Is he okay?"

Brie was honest, "I don't know." For a small moment Webber remained silent, but then he sighed and began the surgery.

"All right. Bokhee. Ten blade."

The brunette felt the excitement built up in her stomach while the Chief made the first cut. She was never gonna be tired of surgery.

The surgery went on for about ten minutes and Brie took slight notice of a shortness of breath. She immediately suspected that she had infected herself with what George had. But the brunette was determined to go through with the surgery.

She leaned forward to assist Dr. Webber when suddenly the anesthesiologist besides her lost conscious, knocking something over in the process.

Brianna felt the hot sweat building on her forehead while she jumped to the side, avoiding the falling person.

"Dr. Webber- what's -", the brunette suddenly felt the shortness of breath getting worse, as if the oxygen was pulled from her lungs. She immediately tried to gasp for air while she bend over, but she just couldn't.

Suddenly the earth started spinning and the last thing the woman was aware of was that her head hit the floor.

When the brunette opened her eyes, her eyelids felt very heavy and she was aware of the fact that she had a maske on, that was giving her new and fresh oxygen.

She blinked a few times, trying to adjust to the light around her when she spotted Dr. Webber, Addison and George laying next to her.

The brunette slowly sat up, the mask still on her face while she watched how Izzie and Bailey were standing by the counter.

Izzie suddenly caught her gaze and immediately made her way over to Brie, "Brie! Oh God, you're awake! You're lucky you're still alive!"

The brunette frowned at her in confusion, "What- what happened, Izzie?"

"Your patient was toxic - her blood was toxic", the Intern quickly explained to her. She then pulled her into a tight hug, "God, I'm so relieved that you're all well."

The brunette forwned, "What's with the patient?"

Izzie gave her a small smile, "They're about to operate on her. You wanna go watch?" The brunette nodded at her immediately and Izzie quickly helped her up and down to the O.R.'s.

It took them a while to get downstairs and when they stood in the elevator that would take them down to the surgical floor, Izzie suddenly spoke up.

"You know-", the blond shifted her weight from one foot onto the other, a smile on her face. "- Sloan seemed pretty worried about you."

Brie's gaze immediately snapped towards her, an irretated look on her face. "What?"

"Yeah, he came down into the Clinic, worried face and all- he tried to not make it obvious, bit he was." Izzie smirked while she gave Brie a knowing look.

Brianna seemed taken back, "There's nothing going on, Izzie. I swear!"

"I wouldn't judge you", the blond told her. "I wouldn't have sex with him, probably because he's a sexist asshole to me, but I get that you think he's hot.- I bet the sex is amazing."

Brie chose to not answer anything after that and soon they had reached the gallery.

Brie immediately addressed Meredith and Cristina, while she walked past Mark and Dr. Webber, avoiding eye contact with the man besides the Chief, "What's going on?"

"The Chief figured out the anesthesiologist didn't have time to drop an NG tube. So now they have to place one and decompress and repack her intestines and close. And they're about to run out of air", Meredith summed up from them while they sat down next to her.

Izzie exhaled quietly, "Holy crap. This so beats tampon training."

"Preston, you need to milk the bowel to get out the excess fluid. Pack her and wrap her and get her stable for transport."

"How's George?" Meredith didn't take her eyes off of the surgery.

Brianna took a big breath from her oxygen machine while Izzie was quick to answer Meredith's question, "Medically, he's fine- Emotionally, he's a little stunted if you ask me. You don't marry the rebound girl, am I right?"

Cristina scoffed at her, "You don't marry anyone on a whim." Meredith sighed loudly, "He needs our support."

"He doesn't need us. He's got his Vegas show wife." Izzie's voice was dripping with sarcasms.

Cristina gave her a impressed look, a smirk on her face, "Ooh."

Suddenly Mark's voice caught their attention, "Chief, they're at 32 minutes. You got to pull them out."

Webber titled his head before he spoke into the speaker, "How you doing on air?"

Suddenly Burke started coughing heavily and then he fell backwards onto the floor. Derek immediately went to help him, "Burke? Burke!"

The man went onto his knees to check if his college was okay, but after a second he started choking and lost conscious as well.

Now it was time for plan B, Dr. Webber all called them down to the O.R. Brianna was walking besides Mark, when she took another deep breath from the oxygen.

Mark glanced at her, his arms crossed over his chest, "You're okay, Taylor?"

The brunette quickly caught his gaze, chuckling to prevent him from worrying too much, "Yeah, everything's good. I just feel a bit fuzzy in the head."

She smiled slightly while the two continued their way down to the O.R., "That's good-" the man frowned, thinking that his words maybe came out the wrong way. "I mean- it's not God that your fuzzy in the head- I mean-"

He made a pause, searching for the right words to use before he continued, "I'm happy that you're- fine."

The brunette continued smiling, "Me too. For a second I thought-" She went silent before she shook her head and didn't say anything more.

As soon as they all had entered the room to scrubb in, the three Interns who were still able to go inside the O.R. stood in a row, listening to Dr. Webber.

"Okay, damage control. We still have to pack her and wrap her so that she's stable for transport. We work I'm shifts. One doctor at a time. No one stays in for more than 20 seconds."

Webber gazed past the Interns at the Attending, "Dr. Sloan, do you wanna go first?"

The man shook his head, "I'm not going in there." Everyone immediately turned to look at him.

"What?"

Mark had his hands placed on his hips while he started explaining, "It would be irresponsible for the remaining attending to expose themself to the neurotoxin. A neurotoxin whose long term effects we're still unaware of.- So I'm staying in here."

Everyone remained silent before Cristina's hand suddenly shot up into the air. "I can swim three lengths of my parents' pool underwater."

Webber nodded at her in confirmation, "You're up, Dr. Yang. All right, let's get her masked."

Mark quickly grabbed a mask from the drawer and out it onto Cristina's mouth and glasses onto her nose. "Sloan, give he the lap pads."

Mark then spun around and grabbed the lap pads before handing them over to Cristina.

The woman stood in the entrance when Webber addressed her once more, "You're gonna wet them and pack the cavity."

Cristina nodded to signal that she ahd understood before she stormed into the O.R. She immediately wet the lab pads before she hurried over to the woman, who was still open on the table.

The dark haired woman quickly stuffed the lab pads into the woman while Dr. Webber spoke through the speaker, "If you feel faint, get out!"

"Come on, Yang! Hurry!"

The woman was in there for 20 seconds before she quickly made her way back to them, breathing heavily.

Cristina panted heavily while she leaned onto her knees, "Alright, I packed the wound. I couldn't get- Icouldn't wrap it."

"Dr. Stevens." Webber nodded at the blond, who immediately approached Dem Slaon, who gave her the mask and the glasses.

"Remove the drape and secure the plastic along her sides. It's got to be tight."

The blond quickly grabbed the plastic and hurried over towards the unconscious woman, immediately staring the work.

Izzie couldn't seem to wrap it around the woman and she quickly spun around and went for the door.

As soon as she was back she exhaled, "I couldn't - I didn't - It twisted!"

Meredith immediately stepped forward and got the mask and the glasses while Webber explained. "Okay, the seal needs to be as close to vacuum tight as possible. It will inflate and then you'll know it's secure."

Meredith immediately hurried inside the O.R. quickly grabbing the plastic and wrapped the woman. She waited for a small moment and then the vacuum inflated.

The blond then quickly hurried back to the group and as soon as the door closed behind her they all exhaled in relief.

Soon after that it he team for transportation came and the Inetrns were free to go home after their long shift.

The first things everyone did after that surgery was take a long shower before they all changed into their normal cloths.

Cristina had a towel over her head while she rounded the lockers, "I am super scrubbed. I'm minus my epidermis."

Meredith tried to rubb her hair dry while she spoke, "I still feel all fumey."

Brie laid with her back on the bank, already dressed and her eyes closed while she had her hand folded on her stomach, "I'm dreading my bed right now."

Suddenly the door opened and Callie entered the changing room for the Interns.

Izzie immediate jumped onto her feet at the sighed of her, "Hey! It's the little woman! So, what are your plans now?" Izzie's excited face expression suddenly fell, "You're not moving in, are you?"

Meredith and Cristina stopped drying their hair for a moment, while Brie sat up abruptly, staring at Izzie.

George didn't seem happy at all about that comment she had just made and Callie had a hurt expression on her face, "Nice."

She soun around and George grabbed her by her hand,"Wait, Callie-"

"Forget it, just-"

"No!" George exclaimed while he stared at Izzie, "People, you're supposed to be my friends, my closest friends!"

His eyes wandered over the group of people, who were now continuing what they had been doing before the conversation had started. "Callie is a big- She's the most important part of my life now. If you want to drive her away, and you're masters at it, you'll do it. But if she's gone, I'm gone.- She's my wife!"

His eyes now laid on Izzie once more, "Calliope Iphegenia Torres is my wife."

Brie couldn't stop a smirk from spreading on her lips while she held back at giggled before Meredith and Cristina exchanged a knowing look.

Izzie started smirking at George, "Iph-"

The man immediately interrupted her, "Don't you dare."

Izzie stopped smiling and looked at the floor, "Okay."
