"슀물 μ—¬λŸ"

TAEHYUNG FELT AS THOUGH SOMETHING WAS WRONG for the past few days. Deeply and terribly wrong.

Everything looked normal, Aspen was acting like her usual self. Yeontan was still as loud and energetic as he always was. Nothing in the house was out of place. Everything seemed fine.

So why didn't he feel fine? It was a gut feeling, something that made it impossible for him to eat. It was the only time he's ever felt this way while being in Earth.

Taehyung decided not to talk to Aspen about it, not wanting to worry her if nothing was wrong. He wanted her to remain calm, happy, and oblivious.

Today...was different. Taehyung felt different, worse than before, like he was going to vomit. It was this gut feeling that something was wrong, very very wrong and he just couldn't shake it. He hated the feeling, the feeling of bei g so terribly sick that he barely talked

And yet he still didn't tell Aspen. He put on a smile and a loving act and ignored the sickening, nauseous feeling bubbling in his stomach.

"Good morning." Aspen whispered to Taehyung as she first awoke to find that he was already awake, staring blankly at the ceiling with existential dread swirling behind his eyes.

His brain was going a million miles an hour, trying to figure out what was the cause of his worries, but it all came to a holting stop when Aspen spoke. Taehyung turned to her and put on his best smile. "Good morning." He whispered back just as softly, leaning over her to kiss her head.

Aspen sat up in bed, reached out to hold Taehyung's head still so that she could get a good look at his face. He was pale, dark circles under his eyes, his eyes themselves lackluster.

Taehyung looked tired, exhausted even.

"What's wrong? You look so tired." Aspen asked him, her hands cupping his cheeks, still warm as ever. She was worried for him. He never looked this way.

Taehyung grabbed her wrist softly, closing her eyes as he used her touch to calm himself. "I'm okay. I just haven't been getting enough sleep. I'll be fine." He will be fine, just as soon as this feeling passes.

Aspen smiled softly kissing his forehead, eyes, nose, and then his lips. She showered his face in affectionate kisses, non-verbally telling him that she was there, she could tell him anything.

"You can go back to sleep if you want." Aspen told him, only for Taehyung to shake his head no. "No, I'll be fine. I agreed to help you make breakfast today anyways."

She shook her head and clicked her tongue. "Not anymore, babe. I don't want you to fall asleep in the middle of cooking. If you're not sleeping, you're not cooking either."

Taehyung crossed his arms and pouted like a child about to throw a tantrum. "But-" Aspen shook her head. "Nope."

He followed her down to the living room, right on her tail, begging her to let him help at least, beating the eggs, mixing the pancake batter. He didn't even need to cook.

Aspen held strong though, denying him no matter how much he begged and gave her puppy dog eyes.

"You can feed Yeontan." Aspen told him as they walked into the kitchen, spotting the small dog sitting beside his food bowl. It was his way of saying he was hungry.

Taehyung gave her a look which she returned with a charming smile. That smile that brightened his entire world when she showed it to him. A smile that made him fall in love with her all over again.

He did as told and poured some food into Yeontan's food bowl before filling the other bowl with cold water for the dog. He came over to Aspen and leaned against the counter beside her as she started up the coffee brewer.

Taehyung didn't say anything, just staring at her, eying her beautiful face. Aspen glanced at him before focusing back on what she was doing. "You keep staring at me like that and I'll start to think that you're gonna try to kill me in the middle of the night."

Taehyung's face dropped as he threw his arms up. "I'm not trying to kill you! How many times must I tell you?"

Aspen gave a look. "That's what they all say." Taehyung ignored her, acknowledging that she was just joking around with him.

He went into the living room and sat down on the couch, still not being able to shake the feeling.

He felt as though someone was coming for him. From his home planet, someone was going to come and retrieve him, force him apart from Aspen and away back home to his lifeless planet with nothing but servitude and misery.

That sounded horrible.

It was truly his worst fear. To be taken away from Aspen was worse than any Hell he could ever experience.

"So, I've decided that we're just gonna have cereal for breakfast because I don't feel like cooking and I refuse to let you cook." Aspen spoke, walking into the living room with two bowls of cereal.

Taehyung put his smile back in and grabbed on of the bowls from her. He was fine with cereal just as much he was fine with a cooked meal. Maybe he preferred it better, the simplicity of it.

"Thank you." He told her, giving her a quick peck on the cheek. Aspen smiled and ate a spoonful of cereal.

They both ate together silently, but Taehyung couldn't find it within himself to finish. He just...had a really bad feeling about today. Aspen found it odd that he didn't finish eating as he always, always, ate all his food. He loved eating. But he hadn't even gone through half of the bowl before he put it down.

Taehyung stilled, feeling as though something was tugging at him, pulling at his core like a magnet.

It was coming from outside.

He stood abruptly and without a word, he began walked towards the kitchen to get to the back door. Aspen watched him. "Tae?" When he didn't respond, she called his name once more. "Taehyung! Where are you going?"

Aspen got up as well, quickly following after him as he approached the back door and unlocked it to go outside. He left out of the door and she followed suit. It was cold outside, but Taehyung didn't care, neither did Aspen.

"Taehyung, tell me what's wrong. What's happening?" Aspen asked him, walking in front of him, stopping him. She was scared, terrified, what was he doing? Suddenly he seemed to completely shut down.

She reached up and cradled his face in her hands, forcing him to look at her. "What's going on with you?"

Taehyung looked back up at the sky, his eyes wide and and his eyebrows furrowed with absolute horror.

When Aspen turned to the sky, she saw a large metal ball defending slowly to the Earth. It looked near exactly like the one currently sitting in her garage. An overwhelming sense of dread fell over her, sinking down and puncturing her heart like a blade.

"They've come for me." Taehyung whispered, his voice weak and breaking. He was terrified, horrified.

He didn't want to go.

It was a pipe dream to where believe that maybe he would be able to stay here with Aspen forever. That no one would come and try to find him, to retrieve him, to return him to the place from which he came.

The ball hovered slightly above the ground before the metal shell slid back and out of the way. The couple watched in dispair as a man stepped out from the ball, wearing all while clothing like Taehyung was.

He was attractive. Round cheeks with shallow dimples. His eyes were sharp, monolided, dark and almost emotionless. His hair was a silver-brown color. He was tall, slightly taller that Taehyung himself.

Taehyung knew him all too well.

"Namjoon."

Namjoon's an alien too! *Gasp*. I think you all figured that out, but still. Shock value.

I think the next chapter will be the last chapter. I wish that it was longer, but idk what to write about.

Thank you all for reading. I hope you guys enjoyed and I wish you all a wonderful day/night.
