Now you may be thinking: Rose, who's the Senate representing this month? Well you're in luck because I've got answers! This month we are focusing on your favorite daughter of Aphrodite. That's right, give it up for Piper Mclean!

Piper was introduced in Rick Riordan's follow-up series, The Heroes of Olympus. Piper attended The Wilderness Academy alongside Leo Valdez and supposedly, Jason Grace (but this isn't about them, so don't ponder too hard).

She journeys to Camp Half-Blood and is claimed by the goddess of beauty and love herself, Aphrodite.

Piper then attends a quest with her former classmates, where she shows just how powerful she is, from fighting Medea to saving Juno and her father.

After this and the trio returns to Camp, it is revealed that she, along with Leo, Jason, and Annabeth are part of the prophesied Seven.

And this is just the beginning of her brave and glorious quest.

She is seen by the majority, myself included, as a pickme and an overall unliked character by the fandom. She does many questionable things during her time at Camp and treats Jason more as an object than her boyfriend while and after dating. She could've and should've, in my opinion, been a more complex character.

Piper is an amazing character with wasted potential. She could've been a much bigger character than what Rick created her to be, with a better backstory and a more complex character arc.
