We all love fanfiction. It lets us express our thoughts and feelings towards a character, lets us rewrite the story and take it into our hold. Writing and reading fanfiction can be so freeing. It can help us become better authors and to better understand the thoughts of an already developed character.

The works of fan artists can be breathtaking; I've read plenty that were more beautiful than published books. Don't worry, I'm not excluding learning writers from this- they're ideas and way of writing are, like every other fanfiction, astonishing.

So today, I'll be sharing some of my favorite Riordanverse Fanfictions that've been stuck with me since I opened their pages on some summer midnight. Starting with your favorite site, Wattpad.

Starting off strong with one of the most controversial crossovers in fandoms: A Percy Jackson x Harry Potter. Now, these two fandoms have been fighting over who's better, and this shines through several fanfiction. Except this one.

Follow Percy Jackson as he moves to teach Defense Against the Dark Arts and protect one of his high risk students. Protecting one student turns into Percy becoming the safe-haven to most of Hogwarts; no matter what side of the war they're on. Filled with more adventures as a teacher from his students and staff, in the end Percy protects the Trio and comes back for another year.

It's completed with two sequels- so check it out if you haven't already! It's been a while since I've read originally, but I recently restarted it and I love it.

Ao3 is known to have some of the most breathtaking, crying-at-three-am-stories. Here's one that made me so happy yet sad at the same time!

Not by Design by inkcoffee follows Paul Blofish as he learns to be the father of our favorite demigod. From 'the boyfriend' to 'dad' Paul tries his best and we have to love him for it.

It may be short, but it gives me chills on how well the author wrote it. Along with their other works under the same account, @/inkcoffee will always be one of my favorites.
