We're gonna try out something new in this magazine in spirit of the new years and the many months of magazines to come! Instead of giving my opinion on Hazel Levesque, I'll let you all decide your Hazel Levesque hot takes with a few facts about this daughter of Pluto before canon.

Hazel Levesque is the thirteen-year-old daughter of Pluto... well technically she is eighty-four years old but that is a hush-hush topic in not only the books but also in real life. I personally wouldn't tell someone that I was eighty-four if I was thirteen, definitely not after coming back alive after decades of death. Would you?

Life as a younger Hazel was a tough one in the thirties. Her mother used her powers, which she forced Pluto to give to Hazel with a price, to act as a 'witch' herself and to murder others with the jewels. After Gaia reached out to her mother, Hazel was then used as Gaia's slave to raise her sons.

This would end Hazel's life... well first life. As Gaia's son was about to be risen she sacrificed herself and her mother to keep him down longer. She spent decades in the underworld before Nico di Angelo, the son of Hades, led her from their father's domain.

Why Hades/Pluto didn't stop them is totally unknown.

We don't get to know a lot about Hazel's life as she joined the Legions, other than she had met Jason Grace before he was kidnapped and brainwashed and was there a few months before Frank Zhang.
