In school, I had opened my locker to get my books when I heard some suddenly loud music. I closed my locker door and looked around for the sound.

Turns out it was Krel, with a boombox. He was with his sister, Mary and Darci.

He glanced up and our eyes met. I suddenly felt embarrassed that he caught me staring at him but I played it off by waving at him.

His sister nudged him and soon enough he started to make his way towards me.

'Play it cool Y/n' I told myself.

"Hey Krel nice boombox" I greeted him.

"Thank you, at least some has good taste"

"No problem! I'm glad some like music rather than singers"

He groaned.

"Oh tell me about it! Some of those 'singers' can't even sing! They-"

"Mumble!" We said at the same time, causing us to laugh.

"And strangle enough I found this boy band, which is a strange name since they all look like full grown men, singing in these high pitch voices"

I cover my mouth, trying not to laugh, knowing who he was referring to.

"Oh, you mean K-Pop? Yeah I'm not really a fan but I do listen to it from time to time"

Before we could talk anymore Steve stepped in front of me.

"Tell me something, barfbag"

"We were in the middle of a conversation, Steve!" I told him a bit annoyed since he interrupted us.

Krel sighed and placed his boom box inside his locker.

"What do you want?" He asked. His tones sounded annoyed as well.

"Is your sister seeing anyone?" Steve asked him.

I facepalmed.

"She can see everyone. Her version is excellent" Krel responded.

"No I mean-" He groaned.

"Forget it!" He shouted before dragging me with him.

"Hey! Steve I was talking to him! Ugh! You're so annoying! Look Krel I'll talk to you later, bye!" I waved him goodbye which he lovingly sighed and wayed back.

I stopped on Steve's foot causing him to let go of me and scream as he let go of me and held his foot.

"OW! What was that for?" He yelled.

I quickly grabbed him by the ear, bringing him down to my left.

"That was for ruining my chances of a conversation with Krel"

"Oh ho ho so you like the Latino, don't you?" Steve teasingly asked me.

I blushed, letting go of his ear to cross my arms and look away from him.

"Well you like his sister after she kicked you in the chest, now we're both simps for them" I retorted back.

"Now come on we have a maths test to do"

(3RD POV)

In Ms Janeth's math class there was a test and Y/n was stressed.

"Okay, class. The test is about to begin"

Y/n was never the best at it only barely passing the subject but she knew she had no choice but to try.

She watched the projector with the sums confused.

What is this, maths? What happened to 1+1= 2? Sometimes she felt as if she was looking at complicated English.

She continued to stare at the board, trying to figure out the sum.

"Finished" Krel stated as he got up to hand over his paper.

Y/n's eyes widen.

'Maybe he could help me with Maths!' Y/n thought hopefully to herself.

Y/n looked up at the projector to see a shadow. 

At first, she thought it was a cockroach which disgusted her but she looked at her calculator, something had bitten it.

"Uh, Miss, something bit my calculator" I nervously said.

Krel then ran up to the projector and destroyed it.

"Krel, remain in your seat!" Ms Janeth ordered.

Everyone looked at him, confused.

" I mean, uh... You depend on calculators for too much. Phones too"

He began walking down the seats taking everyone's calculator and phones. When he reached Y/n they stared at each other and it felt like times stopped for them.

Y/n eyes held confusion of why he was doing this and fear, did it have something to do with that shadow she saw on the projector? While Krel's eyes held fear, fear of him and sister getting discovered but in that fear played he was glad that was able to see Y/n's face so up close though he had wished underneath different circumstances.

Krel realized that he had an issue to deal with and looked away.

"Ah! Sorry about your device!" He apologized and moved on to gather as many devices as he can.

But it was too late the skeltegs had already multiplied and was flying around the classroom causing the students to scream.

Y/n wasn't hesitant to stand up from her chair and walked over to Steve.

"Come on! Let's get out of here!" She shouted at her friends.

Steve grabbed her hand as she led them out of the room.

Well, things aren't looking too well for Aja and Krel.

Krel stood at the end of the corner with his book high, ready to hit someone when Y/n speared him causing him to yell as they fell down.

At first, Krel was upset, how dare tackles the king-in-waiting. But when he saw Y/n laying on his lap he became tongue-tied.

"I don't know why I let Steve convince me to do that" Y/n said to herself.

She looked at Krel and nervously smiled.

"Sorry!" She apologized as she got up and outstretched her free hand to him.

"Looks like I fell head over heels for you"

Krel knew what she meant, he remembered the literature teacher saying something like that. If he remembers correctly, it meant being completely enamoured of someone.

A smile came to his face as he grabbed Y/n's hand, who lifted him back to his feet.

"Ah don't worry, I'll probably do that same for you"

Y/n smiled.

That's when Steve came and leaned against the walk with a proud smile as he watched his friend find trying her best not to lose their cool with her crush. While Aja grinned at her little brother interacting with his crush.

But it was the moment that was short-lived when Krel released that Steve was here.

"Hey what are you doing here?" He asked as he pointed a finger at him.

Steve scoffed.

"You didn't think you could slay these tiny dragons without the power of the Palchuk, did you?"

"In fact, we did" Aja answered.

"And I won't call them little dragons more like some kind of large glowing beetle, it resembles more of a rhinoceros beetle" Y/n said to herself.

"Not to brag but, uh, my career prediction test said that I'd make an awesome exterminator"

"Sceptre. My sceptre! Uh, you might wanna trade me for this bat. Bats are great for battling bugs"

Steve quickly exchanged the bat for his sceptre.

Kerl and Y/n watched the exchange.

"You do know he's an idiot, right?" He asked her.

She sighed.

"Yeah but he's my idiot"

"King Palchuk! I'm back baby! Whoo!" Steve shouted as he continued to walk down the hall.

"I got to go and make sure he doesn't you know die" Y/n told Krel.

"Why don't you stick with me and Aja? We could provide for more protection than he can" He offered her.

Y/n place a hand on his shoulder. 

"I know you can but who's gonna protect him? Besides I'll be fine, I've done fencing classes before and I know how to use a bat" She reassured him before patting him on the head and walking after Steve.

"I think the oaf with golden hair favours me above other humans" Aja gathered.

"Like how you favour the human Y/n" She added.

"Yeah...What no I don't!" He shouted at her.

Aja giggled.

"Oh come on little brother, I see the way you look at her. Honestly, I've never seen look at anyone like that even at home"

He sighed.

"You're not going to let this go, aren't you?"

"Nope! Besides she seems fun! I would become friends with her" Aja told her brother before following Y/n and Steve.

Krel sighed before following her.

Soon Y/n, Krel, Aja and Steven made their way to the cafeteria. They peaked their head inside to see Mary recording the skeltegs.

"Mary, what are you doing here?" Y/n asked her.

"Duh! Filming a video worth millions of view. Hashtag Ew-Gross-Ew" Mary answered.

As she was talking Y/n slowly walked behind her with her bat raised high to hit a skelteg that was on Mary's back.

Aja nudged Erel amazed by how Y/n took the lead.

"No sudden movement-"

"Hey, wanna take a selfie? I seriously love your fashion tast-"

Mary was then hit by Y/n causing her to scream as she hit off the skelteg.

The skelteg shrieks as Krel squashed it.

"These books are very useful" Krel commented.

"Uh, these things aren't poisonous right?" Mary asked Y/n.

But Y/n didn't answer and walked over to the others, making Mary even more worried.

"Right?!" She asked as she followed.

"I don't know. There's probably an antidote" Steve answered.

"Like, uh, vinegar or true love's kiss" He said, directly to Aja as he puckers his lips to her.

She stepped back as Mary held on to her arm.

"Just spitballing, you know" He mumbled.

Suddenly the five classmates looked at the scuttling and raised their weapons.

"It seems we found the nest" Aja said.

Soon the skeltegs started to glow revealing themselves.

"Or the nest has found us" Krel added.

Y/n tossed Mary a wooden spoon.

"I think you're going to need this Mary" She told her.

Then the Skeltegs started to swarm them causing Steve to scream as everyone bent down to avoid them.

"Great Gaylen! There's too many of them!" Krel exclaimed.

Y/n and Mary jumped on the same table and began killing the Skeltegs.

"You're not on today's menu!"

"Bow to the king!" Steve commanded as he killed the Skeltegs.

A skelteg tried to take his sceptre away, pulling him momentarily before he stopped on a table.

"No! Not my sceptre! Don't pull my finger!"

Y/n's phone started to ring, playing causing the skeltegs to stop moving, some that were close by exploded.

Y/n crochet down to answer the phone.

"Hi Lizard, what's up, I'm kinda busy at the moment- What? Elizabeth he just missed one date it's not the end of the world- Oh this is the fifth time this has happened? Well, have you tried talking to him about it?" Y/n talked on her phone.

"Play that horrible sound again" Aja instructed her.

Y/n frown.

"It's not that bad" She mumbled.

"Um, Lizard, I'll call you back later, try communication I heard that works with couples" With that Y/n ended her call with Elizabeth and started to play her ringtone.

"The frequency of Earth music kills them. Also, what is the beat you just played?" Krel asked.

Before Y/n could answer, Aja, dragged him out of the cafeteria.

"No time little brother, we need to get the boom of the box"

The sibling ran outside to the lockers and opened Krel's locker and took out the boombox.

He gasped when he saw the batteries were gone.

"They've been inside"

"So you brought them to school?" Aja asked.

"After you brought them to Earth!" He argued.

"Just fix the box of boom, little brother!"

He rolled his eyes before sitting on the ground to fix the boombox as Aja crossed her arms.

Back in the cafe Y/n used her phone to kill the skeltegs.

"You go Y/n!" Mary cheered on.

As she pointed her phone at the Skeltegs the low battery sign came up.

Fear filled her face.

"Oh-oh"

Without the music, the skeltegs began moving again making her crotch to dodge them.

"Um, Mary do you have any music!?"

"Nope! My phone, like just died"

"Don't worry, ladies, I'm locked and loaded" Steve explained.

He got up and started to sway with his phone playing soft music.

Mary and Y/n started at each other.

The skeltegs did stop flying but they weren't exploding as they did with Y/n's music.

"Uh, Steve, nothing is happening" Y/n told him.

Outside, Krel had finally fixed the boombox.

He turned the nub, playing a man yodelling. The nearby skeltegs exploded.

Krel got up and changed the music to rock and held the boombox up as skeltegs fly towards it only to explode.

"Another use for human music!" Krel explained.

He changed the music to hip hop tune and dances as skeltegs exploded near the siblings.

(Your POV)

Inside the classroom. I was trying my best to comfort Mary as she covered her ears, whimpering as Steve's ringing was getting to her.

"This music is worse than the bugs" She complained.

"How can you stand to listen to this?!" She asked me.

"I have four noise brothers, this is nothing" I told her.

Steve chuckled when a sudden loud bass started to thump.

The skeltegs suddenly flew out of the room.

We watched as they did.

"So is it over?" Mary asked.

"I guess so. Maybe Krel got more music"

"It was all thanks to the Palchuk"

Mary groaned.

"So, do you guys help me out with getting my brothers from preschool and the daycare? Usually, Eli would help me but, you know he's not here and I can't call him" I asked nervously.

"OMG. You have little brothers?!" Mary excitedly asked.

I smiled tiredly at her.

"Yeah the triplets are a handful most of the time"

Steve scoffed and crossed his arms.

"Tell me about it"

"Wait, why am I knowing about this?" Mary asked.

"You never asked"

She paused.

"That's true. Well from now on you have to tell me everything about you. I seriously can't believe you are so cool yet you hung out with Steve all this time" She said as she wrapped her arm around mine and we walked out the cafeteria.

I laughed.

"Okay, so I might as well tell you their names..."

"Hey wait for me!" Steve called out and rushed towards us.

In Akiridion-5, a lady with silver hair and pale skin laid on a table.

She must have been knocked out when she was defending Royal's children with Zadra.

She slowly opened her eyes revealing her selera was black but her iris was rich emerald green.

She got up only to feel her wrist tied down. This caused her eyes to widen in shock as she desperately tried to get out.

Glancing around she saw a blank bot.

"Hello?" She asked as her voice cracked. She must have been out for a few days because her throat was dry.

Lucky the Blank Bot heard her and walked over her with a glass of water.

"Lady Asteria! Thank goodness you're awake now" The Blank bot exclaimed as he helped her drink the water.

Once she had finished drinking she licked her lips and sighed.

"How long have I been asleep?" She asked.

"Long enough" Came a voice.

Asteria looked up to see General Morando walking into her room.

Her eyes were filled with hatred when he came in.

"If it isn't Lady Y/n Asteria of House Ravignon. Finally woke up for your beauty rest??" He mockingly asked.

Asteria held her insult, knowing that it could get her in trouble.

"What do you want from me, Val?" She spoke as she watched as Morando walked over to her.

He suddenly held her by her chin forcing her to look up at him.

"You will address me as your King" He growled.

Anger flared on Asteria's face as she shook his hand off her face.

"Oh? Last time I checked, he was destroyed by you" She hissed at him.

He placed his arms behind his back and started to walk around her table where she rested.

Asteria's eyes never left Morando as he walked around her.

"And that fate can easily happen to you Y/n. If you don't listen to my command" He said as he stopped in front of her.

She tilted her head, a bored expression on her face.

"Oh? And that is?"

"Be my Queen and stand by my side"

"No" Asteria answered, shaking her head.

"Besides, you don't care for me and if I stood by your side the people of Akiridion-5 would follow suit. Not to mention if word got to King Alastair, that the Tarron house had fallen, he would break the contract" She paused and a smudged smile came on her face.

"We all know that Tarron's have no chance of winning as the house Ravignon" She smugly said.

Asteria was correct. Akiridon-5 was no match against Xuvaiturn. They tried many Keltons ago and were defended. If not for the Peace Treaty of irontail, the Planet would have been destroyed.

"Ah that is true but I have something that you want" He told her.

Her smudged smile turned to a frown as she tilted her head.

"And that is?"

It was finally Morando's time to regain control of the situation as he smugly smiled.

"I know the whereabouts of your second brother, Prince Seth"

Asteria's eyes widen at the name. The long lost Prince of Xuvaiturn and her brother.

Despite her heart wanting to believe him, she knew better than to trust a word that came out of General Morando's mouth.

She arched her silver brow.

"Only fools would believe a word that comes out your Morando and I'm not one of them"

"I'll let you reconsider that choice of yours Asteria" Morando said as she turned to walk out of the medic room.

He paused at the entrance of the door.

"And do remember your place, Asteria or I'll make you remember" He threatened before leaving the room.

Asteria let out a breath she didn't even realize she was holding in as she laid back on the table. 

"Well I hope I don't have to wake up to that again"
