Recap: Gabriel took Rinku to the LAS VEGAS SIGN. They had so much fun, which can't be expressed in terms of words. Finally, it was time for them to head back to the hotel.

Rinku's POV:

"Thank you, Gabriel," I say looking down standing near my hotel room door.

"Come on, you have said it like thousand times!"

"It was really fun. If it weren't for you, I would have stayed in this stupid hotel room and watched rubbish." I shrug. "You are my best friend."

"Okok. Stop and let me in already." He says barging into my room.

"Whaaatt? " I pull my words like an elastic.

"Yesssss." He copies me.

He enters my room and jumps into my bed. He plays like a little boy which is hella cute.

"Your cushion is better than mine." He says still jumping.

"It's for good people." I mock him which leads him to smirk.

He takes the remote and turns on the TV. He goes to Netflix and starts to type romance in the search box.

"What do you wanna watch?" He asks which is kinda fishy cause Gabriel Adriguez is watching romance!

"Is the great Gabriel searching for rom-com movies?" I ask circling him.

"Can't a guy change?" He asks looking into my eyes.

"Change, change," I say getting out of the room.

"Wait. You aren't joining me?" He asks getting Outta bed.

"No, I don't feel like watching. I'm gonna go out and get some air." I say.

"Then I'm coming with you." He says.

"Volunteers are much appreciated." I laugh and leave the room.

We take the elevator and get down to the reception. Again, he talks to a man in secret and he leads the way.

"So, Venkat. Where are you gonna take me?" He says looking into my eyes. Again. Damn, this gesture is sending me chills.

"I'm broke, buddy. Let's just take a walk." I say laughing.

We walk ten meters, twenty meters, and hundred meters. But no sound from Gabe. This is the longest time he's been silent.

"So, Gabe. Tell me anything."

"You look breathtaking." He says which makes me go awestruck. But boy, I'm wearing an oversized hoodie and torn Jeans. I guess he has night blindness.

"Denks, denks. Anyways, have you ever loved someone?" I ask in a Hulk-some way which makes him smile. God, that's the thing I've been waiting for.

"I don't wanna answer this question." He says running forward and leaving me behind."I guess we reached the backwaters." He says stopping. "There's a restaurant over there which my mum took me when I was seven. We came here for her sister's wedding." His voice breaks as soon as he says the word mum.

"Shall we go there?"

"Sure." He says leading the way.

We reach the entrance where two girls were sitting and munching on their boba tea. I assume this is a small-scale restaurant as only one lady is cooking and the other is doing the dishes. I can't believe they open the shops even at midnight. It's almost 2 in the morning and I didn't have any sleep. I don't feel like sleeping. With him around me. I wanna stare at him and stay with him forever.

While I'm thinking all this, he orders us two boba.

"You are staring at me for a quite long time. The other girls are getting quirky." He says laughing.

"Oh no, I was in some deep thought," I say smiling awkwardly.

"Cute." He muttered and get in there to take our order.

Again. He says I'm cute. I'm flying! God!!!

"Come in." He says.

I go in and guess what? I'm wrong. Inside the hotel, it was very huge. With seating arrangements made upside down, it would greatly suit 30 to 50 people.

He puts two chairs upright and takes a seat on one of them.

"This place hasn't changed yet." He says while looking around in awe. This boy must have missed his mother so much. Should I ask him about his mother?

"On that night, I screamed for ice cream. So she took me here without my father knowing. And then we went to the park and she played with me. And again after playing, she got me another ice cream. I still remember her face and smile." He breathes for a minute. "She was very beautiful." He says taking out his wallet and looking at his mother's photo.

"And the next day, you ended up in a hospital." I laugh.

"You are correct. My father scolded her and said no more icecreams for me." He says.

"She is beautiful," I say looking at his mother's picture.

"Just like you." He says without flinching.

I didn't respond to that.

I quickly drink my drink and got out of the restaurant.

"Yo, wait for me. I'm a little baby." He says grabbing my hands from my back which sends chills down my spine. His fingers lock with mine. So hard.

"Listen, Riri. I know this is too much. But I need to say this." He says breathing heavily.

"I can't bear with seeing you as a friend anymore. You make my heart flutter every damn time you see me with those eyes. You are my home now. These past hours made me confirm this. I can't lose you. I'd love to take you out, Rinku Venkat." He says hugging me. After saying all these, he takes a long exhale meaning that he has held on to confess for a long time.

I didn't say anything. But I've always wanted this to happen. I'm already loving him. Boy, I'm nervous!

"I don't wanna pressure you to reply right now. So take your own time." He says calmly.

How can be someone so calm after confessing? I'm so damn nervous.

"I-i-i" I mutter, out of words. "I'd love to go out with you. " I say putting my words together, as I mutter.

"Really, you are?" He asks bending to me, who was looking down. Blushing.

"Um, yeah. Sure." I say looking down.

"Yay! yay!" He says doing a victory gambol.

"You might wake the people in the streets," I say pulling him.

"I guess we already started dating." He says, to which I again look up, to see his happy eyes.

"Since when?" I ask hopelessly.

"That's a secret." He barks.

We walk hand in hand. And as time goes on, he wraps his hands around mine and within a blink of an eye, I'm fully covered. By him. In his arms.
